"How much money did you win?" He asked me when I came out with the two bags of money 6 hours later. "10k...this I had before hand." I said to him throwing the now clean money in the trunk.
"Wow...do you want to go eat because Im hungry." I said slamming the trunk closed. "Sure" He said as we walked to the casinos buffet.
We basically ate and fought over who would pay.
"Fine you win...But it wont always be like that." I said as the waitress took his card.
"So I saw your car explode...I almost died." I said and his eyes widened a bit. "Where?" He asked as we stood up. "After I left the building were we saw Dent." I said and he nodded.
"Speaking of that Ill pick you up at 10 okay." He said and I licked my lips and nodded. "Okay cool." I said walking to my car.
---
"Im Tired Joker..." I mumbled and spread across the couch. Joker walked towards me with a grin.
"Let me sit then." He said and I shook my head no. "Nu uh...sit on that one." I said and closed my eyes. My head hurts...
"I stopped by a cafe to get some cookies and the girls in Front of me were talking. One of them I think her boyfriend hit her or somthing and made her cry or something stupid like that. So the other one is all like 'Every girl deserves a guy that makes her smile even if she doesn't want to." I said and looked at him.
"So"
"Well then I thought of you making a girl smile by carving her face even if she doesnt want to. You know just because every girl deserves it." I said and we laughed. The laughter slowly faded away and I stared at him. His warpaint was on but I remember how he looked before I left.
"Ey can I ask you something?" I asked him and I heard him mumble a
yeah.
"You told him to call you Jay...is that your real name?" I asked and he chuckled. "Id never tell that douche my real name toots."
"Would you tell me?" I asked him, opening one eye to look at him. He stared down a bit not looking up at me yet.
"Maybe..." He said and I opened both my eyes. "What is it?...I mean You know all of mines...some are fake but still." I said and he looked at me like if trying to decide to tell me or not.
"Jack" He said and I looked up at the ceiling.
"Jack...like in titanic?" I said rolling it off my tongue and he smirked at me and nodded. "Jack! Jack!" I yelled dramatically. "Calm down there Rose" he snickered and I acted like a damsel in distress.
"Theres room for both of us on the door." He said towering above me. "I know right? What took her so much too just scoot over?" I said and he leaned down. "Yeah you too." He said putting his arms beside my head and leaning down.
"Im not Rose and im not on a door in the middle of the atlantic ocean." I said. "Then you can make room For me on the couch then, DollFace." He said and I sighed.
He leaned down and kissed me again soon enough he was on the couch making out with me and I stopped him. "I knew you couldn't resist me doll." He smiled at me. "Shut up you clown..." I smiled and pushed my self up at him as he trailed down my scar.

"J-uhhh I need to go to bed. I need to go to that stupid party tomorrow." I said to him and he laid down on top of me. "You wanna go to bed toots?" He asked with a mischievous smirk. "Separate, you bafoon." I said and he rested his head on me and looked up at me.
"No"I said and he pouted a bit and I looked away. "I wanna go to sleep too." He said and I looked up at the ceiling. "Do you even sleep? Because you always have dark circles around your eyes." I said and chuckled to my self.
"Come on..." He said and I pushed him off me and he fell on the floor. "No...and I will chain you to the bed down here if you don't do it by will." I said and he smiled at me. "If you chain me to the bed will you do that grinding you threatened about?" He asked and I blushed a bit shaking my head.
"Don't get on my bad side...go home." I said and he sighed in defeat. "I cant...I got drunk and blew it up." He said and I grabbed the bridge of my nose and sighed.
"Fine but stay in the room." I said and he sighed and stood up. "Fine." He huffed and walked away.
I told him good night and went to my room and changed into some black sweats I had. I brushed my hair and threw my self on the bed.
I tried to go to sleep but kept thinking about Jack and Rose. I have a huge California bed and Jack is down there in the cold. No he wants what he wants and I'm to tired.
I heard my door close and I shifted in my bed. I cant sleep.
"How long have you been there?" I asked and he just leaned on the door way. "About 40 seconds..." He said and I turned face up and looked at him.
"You weirdo...and you say your not a rapist clown. Didn't I tell you to stay there?" I said opening my eyes but seeing pitch black.
"But Im a Criminal and it comes in my nature to disobey." He said and I gave up.
"I can hear the pout in your voice...I give up, get in here." I said and I felt him roll over me and get behind me. "This is a little fast no doll? Are you sure you want me to get in there." He said and I turned to him.
"Can you shut up? Or you cant sleep?" I said to him. "I cant sleep...I usually knock out at 4" he said and I slid my arms in front of me.
"Can I touch your scars?" I asked and he wrapped a arm around me.
"You don't need to ask, V." He said and I stroked his scars. A permanent smile that I loved to trace. I rested my hand on his cheek till he fell asleep. I smiled at him and sighed.
I turned around facing away from him but he pulled me closer to him. This is so weird...its been more than 10 years since someone touched me and lived.
---
I woke up on top of him. He sleeps smack in the middle of the bed with a arm tight around my waist and my head on his chest. "You gotta be kidding me, Jack." I mumbled trying to get off him but he didn't let go.
He looked so peaceful so innocent when he slept. So incapable of the damage I know he is capable of.
"Wake up Jack." I said reaching for his face and slapping him lightly. "Uhh....haven't heard those words in Years." He muttered.
"In this huge bed and you sleep in the middle...why?" I asked pushing my self off him. "So you end up here." He said pulling me down and I fell on top of him. "Your so dominant...jeez." I said slipping out of his hold.
"Get up...I need to change." I said trying to pull him off the bed. "Im not in your way go ahead." He said and I gave him a 'Really' look. I grabbed his arm and pulled him off the bed.
"Chuckles will be here like in a hour or two...or three or four I don't remember." He said And I rolled my eyes. "You better be out of here by the time I get out of the shower...and you need to get ready too." I said and got my clothes ready and went inside the bathroom.

"Ladies and Gentlemen...I have a special guest here tonight. Those that were at Bruce Wayne's party know who she is. She fought off The Joker himself and was willing to give her life for a civilian she didn't even know." Steven said as I stood next to Bruce.
"So much drama, damn." I muttered Giving Steven a smile as he looked at me. "I have the Honor for her to accept my invitation to come here and here she is...Miss Victoria Corleone herself." He said and I shook my head.
I hated every minute of the flashing cameras and claps as I went up there. "What the hell do I do here?" I muttered to Steven as I waved at the reporters.
In my defense I thought it was gonna be a party not a press conference. "Smile and answer." He said standing next to me. "Ms. Corleone, we heard you are running for mayor is that true?" I heard and looked over at the reporter.
"Call me Miss V, and yes...I have already befriended the authorities and helped out the GCPD in rebuilding the department. Along with new security at the prison and asylum installed by My company BloodSyn Security. I realized I could do much more with the city If I happened to win the run for Mayor. " I said
More flashes blinded me as more question were asked. "Im sure the City wont stay like this forever...we have three great people running and I am Positive it will change." I said truthfully.
Steven waved them all away and walked me from them as I dropped my smile. "I hate reporters...and this was my first encounter." I muttered to him rubbing my eyes.
"You'll get use to it babe." He said walking me to Bruce. As soon as I got close enough-Bruce slipped his arm with mine and I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Yes it gets annoying at sometimes but nothing we cant handle." Bruce said and I looked at our arms.
Then I looked at Steven's arms that was still half way around my arm and I shrugged them both off.
Damn personal space.
"Okay boys I need a drink and-" I said and Steven stepped up putting his arm around me again.
"Its over here follow me." He said and I made a 'wtf' face at him then looked over at Bruce.
"Did you here that?" I said stopping Steven. "What?" He asked looking at me.
"The reporters are talking about a arrest in a underground fight..." I said and he let loose his arm looking around nervously.
"Wow....uhm...Ill see you over there." He said giving a nervous smile and walking away. I flattened out my jacket with my hands and walked over to the Balcony jugging down a glass and getting another one.
Ive been here for so long and Im tired as hell. Its about 9 pm and the sky is Dark with thousands of clouds. "I sure hope it rains." I muttered and saw his shadow lean beside me.
I let my head hang down as I closed my eyes. The smell that it was gonna rain in the air as I remember how Steven and Bruce held me.
"How old is...Steven?" I asked him and he looked up at me. I opened my eyes
"Like...23-24 Im not sure." He said and I nodded. "What about you?" He asked and I looked over at him. "27...I think" I said.
"Your a bit mature to still be in your twenties..." He said and I smiled. "Ive been like that since I was young...learned to live by my own at the age of 8 and worked up from the bottom." I said dropping my smile.
The memories of when I was kid came back like burry hangovers. I just remember the feeling I felt. Never the names or numbers. How those kids would laugh because I would work at a cheap place.
"What time do we go?......Im tired and dizzy...thank god im not driving." I said stretching upwards wanting to go home.
"How many glasses did you drink?" He asked with a playful smile.
"Like 8..." I said trailing off and he squinted at me. "Teen...8 teenagers...I'm joking 18..." I said and he smiled shaking his head. "Fine do you wanna go?" He asked and I nodded my head.
I said good by to Steven and hurried up to leave before he sees who said bye. I think this kid is obsessed with me I swear.
"Why are you running?" Bruce said when he finally found me by his car. "I don't like...human contact...and Steven doesn't seem to get the point." I said as he unlocked the doors and they opened by themselves.
"What about me and you?" He asked getting in the car. We shut the doors and put our seat belts on."Thats different Im a GOD father and your a BATman so it doesn't count as human contact." I said and he chuckled.
My Phone rang and buzzed in my pocket. I put it to my ear and cleared my throat. "Yeah?" I answered closing my eyes and leaning back into the seat.
"Hey doll...uh, hehehe, I told ya I blew up my warehouse? Yeah okay so uh...My henchmen found some uh...weeds in your garden and uh...basically they fumigated your house." He said and my eyes snapped open.
"What? You guys smoked in my house? Do you have any idea how much money you just threw away?" I said and I heard laughter behind him. "Well at least your pest free..." He said and giggled. "Not if you guys are still there." I said
"Do you think you can like? Ventilate it or febreeze it?" I said leaning on the window. "Your a MobBoss you can live with a weed filled house." He said and I shook my head.
"I sell it but I don't use it...that stuff gives me one hell of a head ache." I said completely honest. "Anyways the best of us know to not get addicted to the merchandise... Tell all your goons to pay for what they smoked or they are going to get it." I growled at him.
"Well V, What are they gonna get? Just saying I got a bit of a second hand smoke...or not." He said and laughed again. "Were are you?" I asked and his laughing stopped. "Behind you" he said and I looked behind the car. "Im Joking" he said and laughed again so loud that I had to hold the phone away from my ear.
"Im yelling at the goons to clean all the coke streaks and to open the windows...At least they didn't get in any of the rooms." He said and I shook my head. "I cant go home with the house smelling like that. Ill go nuts or even worse...Ill get high and you don't want to see that." I said and he hummed into the phone.
"Don't jump to conclusions DollFace...I love things that most people fear...specially the worse of you." He said and chuckled to him self. "Whatever Im not staying there...Ill sleep in a hotel or something." I said
"You could stay with me if you want." Bruce said with his eyes on the road. I looked at him and gave him a weak smile as I rubbed my neck.
"No its fine ill stay in a hotel." I started. "I insist...it wont be trouble at all." He said looking at me then back at the road.
"Who was that?" I heard threw the phone. "Im going to stay with Bruce instead..." I said and heard silence at his end. "Weren't you going to ah hotel?" He asked in a stern voice.
"But he offered and well I told him yes." I said, "Tell him no then..." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Get My house spotless and odorless and we have a deal." I said and hung up.
"Was that...J?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah...he and his Fighter friends had a weed party at my house." I said and he chuckled. "Whats so funny?" I asked him.
"That you sell drugs for a living but cant stand them..." He said and I sat up straight. "If I did drugs...I would probably be dead because of all the ones I handled on daily bases. Anyways the big Fish as my self don't do them for that reason...if anything its a cigar or two but nothing else." I said.
"We're here." He said going to the huge drive way and opening the doors. We walked to the door and he opened it. I looked around and questioned my self. "Didn't I blow this place up?" I said.
"Money makes things go faster..." He said closing the door and I saw Alfred. I smiled at him and walked up to him. "Alfred!" I said embracing him in a hug. He got caught by surprise and hugged me back. " Its always great to see you Miss V" he said in his accent and I smiled.
"Sorry..." I said as I released him of my deadly hug. "No problem Miss V."
"Alfred, V will be staying for the night...get her a room ready please." Bruce said and Alfred nodded. "Right away Master Bruce." He said and I stepped forward to him. "Do you need help with anything?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Not at all Miss V not at all." He said and left. "Okay...so do you want something to eat...Alfred is going to make something for dinner." He said and I was gonna deny but my stomach grumbled.
"Stupid stomach...sure why not." I said and he smiled and walked away. Alfred came back to me a few minutes later. "Follow me to your room Miss Victoria." He said and I smiled and followed him up the stairs.
He opened a room that was full of red and white. "I thought this room you would like the best. There is some clothes in the wardrobe and a Bathroom behind that door. Do you wish for anything?" He asked and I turned to him after looking at all of it.
"No its perfect thanks Al..." I said and he nodded with a smile and left. I took a shower then looked threw the wardrobe and put on some sweats and a black T-Shirt.
I walked down stairs and into a kitchen. I saw Alfred doing something and I walked behind him. "What are you making?" I asked and he turned to me. "Miss V...Im Going to Make Roast Chicken." He said and I nodded.
"Can I help?" I asked and he gave me a smirk wiping his hands on his apron. "Do you still remember?" He asked and I smiled at him getting my hair up. "Ill never forget..."
---
It almost looked like a Thanksgiving Turkey except it was a chicken. I made the Chicken and a few sides. I was a bit tired when we put it in the oven.
"Thank You Miss V, I think I can take it from here." He said and I took the apron off and hung it. "Okay ill see you in a few." I said and walked away to the Dinner table...I think.
"This thing is huge..." I said looking at the banquet sized table. "Well it would a bit weird if I had a table for just me in this huge room." I heard and nearly socked the daylight out of him.
"Don't do that I could have hit you..." I said as he walked into my view. "Ill take that in Note." He said giving me a sly smile. After a few minutes Alfred came out.
"Master Bruce the meal is ready..." I heard and out came Alfred with the golden roasted chicken and set it on the table. We sat down and Alfred served it up and we dug in.
"You really have out done your self Alfred..." Bruce said and Alfred shook his head. "I didn't make the Poultry tonight Master Bruce, Miss V did." He said and Bruce looked over at me.
"I was bored..." I said in my defense. "And this happens when you are bored?" He said and I laughed. "That and much more...Like I said I learned to go on my own...and well I got really good at some things." I said and he nodded staring at me.
"Most of my guest never bother to do anything...especially cook." He said and I shrugged. "Well Im not most..." I said and he smiled at me again. "I can see that...very clearly."
