《Best friend VS Boyfriend》It's not a new thing that Harry doesn't support his girlfriend, right?

"Welcome back everybody! We're still here with Louis Tomlinson!" Louis smiles and waves at the camera. Taylor is gone now but Louis still feels comfortable, even without his best friend next to him.
"Louis, you made quite an appearance yesterday at the TMZ Summer party. Before yesterday you were unknown and now you're breaking the internet! How do you feel about it?"
"It's different." Louis says "I mean, I'm not used to people stalk me at my job and stuff. It's not a very bad thing, it's just new." He shrugs. "I mean, I don't get what people see in me. I'm just little old me guys."
"Don't talk yourself short, Louis! You're the best friend everybody wants, right?" James turns to the public and everybody goes wild. It's a strange feeling to see so many people applaud for Louis, he isn't used to it. He is a nobody and he honestly really likes that role in the social pyramid.
"I just did what everybody would do, defend my best friend. Wouldn't you all have done the same?" he asks.
"You talked back to a Jenner, Louis. That's pretty impressive. You fought for Taylor's honor."
"Would have done the same for you, James." Louis jokes, winking at the older man. James brushes his imaginary hair aside, crossing his legs and leaning his head back. "Such a gentleman. I'll let my wife know I won't be home tonight."
The crowd laughs again and then James turns back to serious, or whatever serious means to the talk show host.
"But Kendall Jenner wasn't the only issue yesterday, was it Louis? You were talking about someone else as well."
No, no Louis really doesn't want to go there. Can he go? Is it over?
"I don't know what you mean." Louis says nonchalantly.
"Do you know a singer? Curly hair, very tall, likes fruit,..."
Louis ignores the giggles from the people in the audience.

"I'm not a big fan of fruits, James."
An 'Oooooh' comes from the audience and James laughs.
"Well, here is someone that can change your mind maybe. Here is mister Harry Styles!" Louis swears he has never heard people yell so loud. He can barely even hear the song that's played in the background but he hears a soft 'watermelon' from time to time.
There he is, walking on stage. His hair is in a messy bun, he wears an oversized floral shirt with the first buttons opened and a jeans that probably rips if he moves too much.
Harry fucking Styles.
"Harry, mate!" James stands up and pulls the boy in a hug. Harry kisses James' cheek before sitting down, winking teasingly at Louis before anyone notices.
"Thank you for being able to make it so last minute, Harry!" James smiles.
"How could I not? You told me that little one was going to be here as well, couldn't miss his first appearance on live television."
Louis subtly rolls his eyes and ignores Harry's smirk.
"Louis, even though you sounded very angry at Harry, he was one of the people at the party that supported you during a fight with his girlfriend. How does that make you feel?" James asks. Harry's green eyes are piercing in Louis' skin. He feels nervous now, very nervous. Can he talk shit about world's most loved singer currently on live television while said singer is sitting next to him? Not even mentioning how Harry's skin is burning against Louis' arm.
"It's not a new thing that Harry doesn't support his girlfriend, right?" Louis can't, he can't fake happiness that Harry 'supported' him. Harry is a dick, a jackass, he doesn't need his bloody support, he needed him to treat his best friend with respect.
People give him shocked looks and nobody says a word, not even James knows what to say.
"Look, I'm getting 'famous' here because of my honesty and I will stay honest. Harry mistreated Taylor just as much as his girlfriend did, even worse. I know you're probably all fan of him and his songs about a bloody fruit basket but... Imagine if someone cheated on your best friend. Would you care about "being defended" "? Louis makes quotation marks with his fingers. He doesn't dare to look next to him. He knows Harry is probably giving him a sad look now.

"Boo!" One girl wearing a Harry Styles shirt in the public starts to boo Louis and honestly he doesn't even care. He never asked for the fame and the studio shows on live television.
"Don't boo him." Harry says, shaking his head. "He has a point. Louis here is very protective when it's about Taylor." Harry puts an arm around Louis. "It's still a bit of a sore subject but don't boo Louis. We used to be friends once upon a time and I'm sure, once the past is left behind us, we will be again."
The show felt like it was forever. Finally Louis is back in the dressing room.
"Taylor? Taylor, let's go." Louis says as he enters. "I really want to get out of here. God damn, where are you, Tay?"
"Taylor and Scooter left already." Liam says. "Taylor had to leave because Harry was here."
"Understandable, but I never wanted to be here in the first place for fucks sake." Louis curses. "Alright, Liam. Did you drive here? Can you drop me off at home then?"
"I came here by bus, Louis." The guys says. If looks could kill, Liam would be dead now.
"You are my manager, Liam. Then bloody manage my transport back home. I'm not going in a bus now with crazy Harry fans that are going to tear me to shreds."
"Those fans are nice, though." Louis turns around, Harry leaning against the door frame with a smirk on his face.
"Can you just go please?" Louis sighs. "I'm trying to get home here."
"I drove here myself. I can drop you off, I know your address..."
"There is no way in hell you are going to drive me back." Louis says, shaking his head.
"Louis, taxis in LA are expensive..." Liam says carefully. "A trip to my house would be around fifty dollars."
"Fifty? For god's sake. Liam, arrange something! You are my manager! I know that apparently you don't know how to do that bloody job but I just want to go home. It has been a long day and I-" Louis is at the edge of bursting out. He wants to throw something, punch someone, whatever to let his anger out. He is starting to see black and on the verge of actually freaking out. It has been a long time ago that his anger issues came up like this.
"Calm down, Lou." Harry says, putting a hand on Louis' shoulder. "Come on, breath." He says and unconsciously Louis listens to the curly boy, breathing in and out. "Now, if you feel uncomfortable driving with me, I'll call you a taxi and pay for it. It's not a big deal."
"Don't need to do that." Louis breathes out, calmed down a little bit.
"Are you driving with me then?" Harry gives Louis a warm smile.
But Louis only glares at the taller guy.
"I'd rather walk home than let you help me. Stop playing Saint Harry, I know who you really are." Louis bumps his shoulder into Harry's and Liam follows Louis nervously, pointing at the smaller guy and stuttering a goodbye to Harry.
Harry watches Louis walk away, sad look on his face.
Losing someone you care about hurts, but it hurts even more when they are still in front of you, and the way they used to care is replaced by hate...

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5.
