Amy was sat on the upturned boat by the pond, hers and Ty's favourite place.

She felt that someone was by the side of her and looked to see her Mum sat there, " Am I".

"No Amy your asleep".

"So I'm dreaming ".

"Sort of Amy".

"Sort of, what does that mean ".

"It's the only way I can speak to you sweetheart ".

"Mum, the last time we spoke you said that Ty and I would have a long life together, now I've lost him ".

"Amy, that was supposed to be your future, then Fate changed everything.

Ty was the one who changed that when he made the decision to abandon you and the baby for his future, had he decided to stay and look after you both then nothing would of changed".

"Amy, you still have a wonderful future ahead of you and I know that you will have that life eventually, but I can't say anymore than than that, it depends on fate. Now rest and sleep well Amy".

"Lou ,is Amy up yet".

"No Grampa, she's still asleep and there were no nightmares or screams last night".

"Have you made sure she's......".

"Yes she's fine, I checked her earlier , the only thing I heard was that it sounded as if she was talking to someone ".

"Probably dreaming , let her sleep, I'll see you later this afternoon. Byee".

Amy woke up and looked at her clock, 10am, and realized Lou must of turned her alarm off.

Amy came into the Kitchen and said good morning to Lou.

"Does Grandpa need his truck today Lou".

"No he's up mending fences and watching the herd".

"Oh great, I need to get a few things done today so won't be back till late, I'm going to have breakfast at Maggie's Lou, see you later ".

Lou thought to herself that Amy seemed to be in a good mood but Lou knew her sister was up to something so walked to Amy's room to see what if anything she was up to.

At Maggie's Amy saw a couple of old Friends and they called her over so she went to sit with them. They asked how she was doing.

Sometime later Amy was at a Truck sale that she found advertised on line.

She was having a good look around and Amy was always out for a bargain. She found a Truck and a 6 Horse Trailer being sold together, however there was one man who wanted the Truck but not the Trailer and the seller kept telling him that he preferred to sell them together,

I'll buy them together right now, Amy shouted.

She went over and said it's just what she's looking for, asked his name then said she needed to make a call.

"Can I speak to Jim the chief of police please , my names Amy Fleming Borden ".

"Hey Amy, what can I do for you".

"Hey Jim, I'm about to buy a Truck n Trailer but you know how suspicious I can be".

"Just being careful Amy, okay give me the blokes name and the Reg number of the Truck".

Amy gave him the details and Jim did a check.

"That's all in the clear Amy, I actually know him, is it a Light Blue Truck and matching Trailer ".

"Yes Jim ,they look great together ".

"Yeah, it was his father's, he passed away a couple of months ago and his Dad always kept it in top condition so I'd say you've got a bargain there. Can you pass your phone to him for me".

"Yeah okay, hang on. .. Someone wants to say hello to you ".

Amy passed the phone to him and he and Jim spoke to each other ".

He finished the conversation and hung up giving Amy her phone back.

They spoke about the Truck. Both knowing Jim and made a deal on the sale. Amy made a call to her bank and arranged a money transfer to his bank. They were both happy. Amy also arranged for him to drop it off at Heartland Later, they both shook hands and parted ways.

Amy was really happy even though it took her 2 steps up to get into the Truck, it was a beautiful truck and BIG, twice the size of her Dad's and high up. The Trailer was almost like new and she got both for less than the cost of a brand new truck on it's own, they were 2 yrs old. A Bargain.

Amy felt so much better since that Dream or whatever it was, was it really her mum or just her subconscious!, it didn't matter because she felt better and needed to prove to them and herself that she needed to go forward hoping Ty would turn up eventually, hopefully, the thought of being on her own was not what she wanted

Now she needs a Ranch.

Amy went to a local realtor to see what was available in the Hudson area first, she'd already written out what she was looking for and a price she was willing to go up to if she could get finance. There were four Ranches she could look at. Amy was getting tired and decided to head home.

Lou was busy getting Dinner on the go, she had spent 3 hours at Maggie's in the office then came back in time for Katie and Georgie getting home from school. She heard a truck and saw a burgundy truck being followed by a massive Ram Truck and Trailer in a matching Light Blue, they parked the Truck n Trailer in front of the Quonset hut and then knocked the door.

"Hi, can I help you".

"Hope so, let me see, you must be Lou, Amy's sister "

"Yes I am".

"Good, can you give Amy these Keys and tell her all the papers for the Truck n Trailer are in the Glovebox. "

"Yes ,thank you I will."

"Tell Amy it was a pleasure doing business with her. Byee".

"Err, Bye".

Lou was surprised that Amy had bought that.

But it was on that list she found in Amy's room, which she put back exactly where it was.

Lou thought about how Amy could afford it then remembers that she sold Storm when she was 16 years old so she must of earned a lot of interest over the last 7 years.
