《TMNT 2012 one shots》Miwa and brothers

Slight angst at first
Negative thoughts swirled around in her head as she sat, curled in a ball on her bed, her knees pulled to her chest. They had so many enemies, so much violence and hate in their lives, and so many people wanted them dead. Every day she was scared of losing her family.
"Who ate the last slice of pizza?"
Some shuffling was heard
"Mikey..."
Then running and yelling could be heard, slowly pulling her out of her dark thoughts. She heard a knock on her door, causing her to jump
"Come in" she called queitly, watching as the door opened and her blue masked younger brother came in, giving a hesitatant smile
"You alright? We haven't seen you much the past few days" he asked as he closed the door behind him self and goes over to her, sitting beside his older sister. She nodded a little, but didn't look at him
"Miwa, does this have anything to do with the Shredder trying to bomb the sewers last week?" He asks, raising an eye ridge. She nods again, sighing and covering her face with her hands
"I don't want to lose you guys.." she spoke almost in a whisper, only to tense a little when she felt arms around her. She relaxed almost as quick as she had tensed, laying her head on his shoulder
"He's been getting more and more dangerous..we almost lost Mikey.." her wavered, but she didn't care too much, she had to get this off her chest. She felt the arms around her tighten slightly
"And so have we. We will become stronger than him and we will beat him. We're not just-"
"Dancing dorks?" She let a smirk like smile appear on her face, her younger brother laughing and nodding. They go back into silence for a minute, both deep in thought, only to jump a little when there was a bang on the door

"Sis! You gotta help me!" Called the youngest of the five, most likely wanting help hiding from Raph, the third oldest. Miwa felt a smile tug at her lips, she watched as Leo walked over to the door and opened it, Mikey stumbled in and instantly ran over to Miwa, hidding behind her and hugging her as Raph stormed in, glaring Mikey. Donnie followed behind the fuming brother, looking panicked
"Wait don't-" he had started, but stopped once they were inside, his warning now pointless. They all froze when they heard a sob, their eyes darting over to their older sister, a hand over her face as she sobbed. They all panicked and began bombarding her with questions, but they stopped when she dropped her hand, grinning at them
"I love you, you bunch of dorks" she says with a laugh, wiping some tears away. They all had different responses to this, Mikey yelled that he loved her too and hugged her, while Leo and Raph became awkward, while Donnie smiled. She stood and walked over to her brothers, the tall girl wrapped her arms around all of them, which they all returned.
She often forgot how much she loved their group hugs

It's the beginning of a series I know I'm going to enjoy, with great writing and hints of deep in-game lore. The characters are fun, the plot is engaging, and I never know what is going to happen next. The action is fast, brutal and realistic. This is one of my favorite LitRPG stories in the entire genre.” - Blaise Corvin, author of Delvers LLC: Welcome to Ludus and Secret of the Old Ones “A great first foray into LitRPG.
