Chapter 2 : Bullying
Johnny woke up by his alarm, rolling out of bed and hitting the wooden floor.
'' JESUS, the floor is hard!'' Johnny cried. He started to get dressed for school.
He began to sing to himself, thinking of what had happened last night whilst doing so. He could hardly remember any of it.
'I think the tree gave me a knock on the head.' he thought. He got dressed and went down the creaky, ink stained (from Johnny writing his songs) stairs to have his breakfast.
''Why so late, hun?'' His Dad asked.
''Oh, I- I slept through my alarm'' Johnny said.
''Oh don't worry love'' his mum yelled from her bedroom. Johnny had to cover it up; of course he wouldn't let his parents know.
''So how was your sleep?'' His dad said.
''Well I did have a pain in the back and-''
''a pain in the back, Johnny what did you do?''
''NOTHING!'' Johnny screamed. His dad always noticed when he was lying.
''Johnny, we'll talk about this after school, okay?'' his dad said.
Johnny didn't say anything. He just opened the door and ran out.
'' Hello, snottbag, nice to see you again!''a voice said.
Johnny turned around. He was face to face with the one and only Hayden Summerall.
A tingle went through his spine just looking at him. He was the bully of the school. Hayden suddenly punched Johnny Orlando in the face.
"Fuck off" Johnny said, blood dripping off his face.
Hayden smirked and got on his bike to school. Johnny turned the other way and dashed back home. He then remembered that he was meant to be at school. His parents could find out here so he went over too the tree he met Kenzie at and sat underneath it.He suddenly remembered everything about last night, with the tree and meeting Kenzie, and Kenzie walking him home. He started to climb the tree when he heard a voice. A familiar voice. He turned to see who it was and it was Kenzie!

''What are you doing here?'' Kenzie said.
''Well what are you doing here?'' Johnny said. They both laughed.
''To clear things up, I'm not going to school, and I've just ran away from a bully, how bout you?'' Johnny asked.
''Hayden Summerall?'' Johnny said, interrupting Kenzie.
''Y-Yes, how do you know him?" Kenzie questioned.
''He goes to my school, I hate him!'' Johnny shouted.
''I know him because he went to my primary school and when I left to do homeschooling he started to gang up me'' Kenzie explained.
''Thats horrible!'' Johnny said.
''Why don't I take you in to do homeschooling with me?'' Kenzie asked.
''I don't know-
''Oh come on, it'll be fun!''

Author here, just wanted to say that if the synopsis did not sound as exciting as I had hoped it would be, try reading the first 10 chapters? I promise it won't be terrible! :) Whoops, forgot to mention, prologues don't count as chapters! If you've read this far, I might as well tell you what I was inspired by! However, this does NOT mean my story will be similiar in any way to the novels/stories/books listed below. By 'inspiration,' I refer to mainly how the characterizations plot devices, dialogue, conflict introduction/resolution, and thought processes are used and introduced in those works of literature. But in a way, you can interpret this list as, "if the author read and was inspired by these novels, then it's possible that we share similiar tastes, so I'll give this story a try." :) -Those Who Aspired to Become Gods: A darker fairy tale novel (My all-time fantasy favorite despite it being unfinished) -Forgotten Conqueror (Second all-time fantasy favorite) -Brandon Sanderson's The Reckoning trilogy (Third all-time fantasy favorite) -Kel Kade's 'King's Dark Tidings' -Brent Week's Night Angel saga -Red Rising trilogy -Infinite Realm: Monsters & Legends -Reborn: Apocalypse -Reborn: Evolving From Nothing -48 Hours a Day -The New World -Creep -Arrogant Young Master Template A Variation 4 -Can't Cure Deceit -Super Minion -Unparalleled -Unbound -Wake of the Ravager -Overgeared -Solo Leveling -The Tutorial Is Too Hard [email protected] -God of Money -A Snake's Life -The Snake Report -The Tower of God -UnOrdinary -Release that Witch!

Apostasy - The Lost History of Goge Vandire (A Warhammer 40,000 fan fiction)
DISCLAIMER: The characters in this story are inspired by the background of the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property that belongs to Games Workshop Ltd. This is fan fiction, and no challenge to their ownership rights is intended. Goge Vandire is a name written in to the annals of Imperial history in blood. Often literally. No single mortal has commanded authority on the scale at which he exercised it at his height. His name is as synonymous with unspeakable evil as that of the Warmaster, Horus himself. And yet he was just a man. Where did such a man come from? What drove him to the steps he took to secure power to himself and, once he had it, how did he come to misuse it so grievously? I have scoured the records - many of them once thought lost or placed under the unbreakable seal of the Inquisition - to uncover his forgotten story, piecing together his childhood, his apprenticeship, his rise to power and his descent into madness and death. It is not the story you might expect...
