A week has passed since Harper was emitted into the hospital for her stab wound. A week since I learned that the ever-growing child in her stomach was going to be a beautiful baby girl.

I could picture her clearly. She'd have Harper's emerald green eyes, gorgeous brown locks, rosy cheeks to match my own, and a cute, petite nose to resemble her mother's.

The sound of the nurse opening the door brought me out of the same daydream I've been having all week. She pushed in the wheelchair for Harper so she could wheel her out of the hospital, finally able to go home.

I grab Harper's hand, placing my other one on her back, gently lifting her from the bed. When she finally gets on her feet, she makes sure to place very little weight on her injured hip.

Carefully she lowers herself into the chair, letting out a sigh when she's finally comfortable.

I walk slowly along side them as we head to the hospital entrance. My nerves begin to kick in, today is the day I finally show Harper the big surprise.

Once we're outside I leave them to go get the car. My heartbeat is accelerating by the minute, gradually increasing throughout the walk to my car.

When I pull in under the awning I quickly get out to help Harper into the passengers seat.

"You may not be able to walk for the next few weeks, if you plan on going back to work I suggest using a wheelchair," the nurse says looking at the both of us.

"Of course," Harper says with a small smile.

The nurse leaves us, heading back through the automatic doors of the hospital.

I help Harper shut her door, then proceed to sit in the driver's seat.

We sit in complete silence as we drive through town, on our way to the secret location.

Her arm rests on the center console, her hand dangling, begging to be held.

Without taking my eyes of the road I gently slide my arm under hers, enter twining our fingers together.

In the corner of my eye I can see her cheeks slightly heat up and change color.

A small smile forms on my face at the sight.

The silence is inevitably broken when she notices that we passed the street to her apartment.

"Myles, you missed the turn," she says chuckling, then wincing in pain.

"We're not going to your apartment," I said, looking at her with a knowing grin.

"Well this isn't the way to your apartment either, so where exactly are you taking me?" she asks skeptically.

"It's a surprise," I sing with a happy grin.

She shakes her head, trying to hide her smile as she looks out of the passengers side window.

Once we're about a mile away, I pull out the handkerchief from my back pocket.

"Put this over your eyes," I say, lightly laughing at her confused expression.

"Okay..." she whispers hesitantly, knowing not to put up an argument.

Once I'm sure that she can't see anything, I start driving once more.

My heart beats erratically in my chest, sweat begins to pool in my palms. The fear of the unknown, the fear of rejection, the fear of change starts to set in.

After pulling in the driveway, I rush over to Harper's side of the car. Instead of wasting time on getting her wheelchair out of the back, I lift her bridal style into my arms. She lets out an adorable, child-like squeal. I do my best to not apply pressure to her hip, not wanting to ruin the beautiful moment by causing her pain.

I carry her back towards the end of the driveway so when she opens her eyes she'll be able to take in the whole scene.

Gently, I lay her on her feet, making sure she keeps her weight off of her uninjured leg.

"Okay, I'm gonna remove your blindfold in 3...2...1."

As soon as I take the handkerchief off of her I hear a light gasp.

"Myles this place is beautiful," she says without taking her eyes off of it.

I watch as she inspects everything, starting with the pyramid-like roof, to the details on the gorgeously sculpted columns.

I wrap my arms around her from behind, settling my hands on her five month bump. "It's ours..." I whisper in her ear, "that is, if you want."

She turns around, still in my arms. Her eyes are shining, "You mean, all of us? You, me, and baby all living under the same roof?"

I nod softly, "I know that it may be fast, that we have really only known each other for a mere few months, and we aren't technically dat-"

She cuts me off with a slow peck to the lips, wrapping her arms around my neck.

Harper pulls away, chuckling at my slightly shocked expression, "Technically we've gone out on a date, and we're with one another all the time. The only thing that couples have that we don't, is a title."

As she speaks, her fingers fiddle with the small bit of hair on the nape of my neck. It takes everything in me not to drop on one knee and propose right then and there.

"Why don't we change that, " I mumble so quietly she couldn't hear.

She tilts her head in confusion.

"Be mine. Be my girlfriend, my one and only, my forever baby mama," I laugh.

"I know that people will think I'm crazy, that we're crazy because it may seem as though we're moving quickly. But I'm not getting any younger. I've never lived my life for me, it's about time I start."

By this time we both have tears in out eyes. This women is making me an emotional mess.

"I'll keep you safe from all the dangers around us, I'll treat you how you deserve," I speak with such conviction.

"Move in with me."

She nods her head in an almost frantic matter, "Myles, you ramble too much," she laughs as she snuggles further into my arms in a hug. "You didn't have to butter me up this much i order for me to move in with you."

I laugh loudly, relief settling in.

"Now can we finally go in and look at the house?!" she says as she pulls my arm.

"Hold on tiger," I say as a move in front of her.

"I don't want you walking too much, so climb on my back."

She smiles hesitantly, "I don't know Myles, I'm like thirty pounds heavier than I was five months ago."

I roll my eyes at her.

"Plus I think my bump may get in the way."

"It'll be fine," I wave her off as I squat in front of her.

"Okay then," she says as she carefully climbs on my back.

We look around the whole house. It's crazy to think that we're gonna be living here and that in a few months we'll have a baby to live here with us.

We'd almost made it through the whole house and I could tell she was beginning to get tired.

"I think we should go now, Myles," she yawns out.

"Hold on, there's only one more room to look at."

When I found out we were having a girl, I sent a bunch of my teammates over here to put something together, and I have to say, they did a pretty darn good job.

I open the door. Not a peep comes from Harper.

I stand there in complete silence, starting to become worried that she didn't like it.

"It's amazing," she whispers, tightening her arms around me.

"Thank you. So much."

I turn my head towards her, placing a small kiss on the side of her head.

"Anything for my girls."
