《All At Once》Easy man, I was just being polite

The vitamins tasted sweet on my tongue. A good mix of fruit and honey. After savouring the taste I turn to gather my equipment before Myles shows up.
My phone starts to ring, I pull it out thinking it's him. Though when I look at the caller I.D. I see that it's Luke. I quickly deny the call, and while I'm at it I black him as well.
I gather my lights, lenses and cameras that are needed for the photoshoot today. We thought it would be best to take the pictures now while we still have two months before games start.
I hear a knock on my door and I rush to open it. Once I do I see Myles showcasng his charming smile and perfectly straight teeth.
"Do you think you could help me pack everything to your car?" I ask, already knowing he would.
"No I'm just going to let your pregnant self waddle down the stairs with tons of equipment so you can risk falling," he deadpans.
I chuckle, "Thought so."
He rolls his eyes as he goes to pick up most of the boxes. I follow him through the apartment until we are outside, near his beautiful Corvetette. We then place all of the boxes into the trunk.
The ride there was fun and exciting, though with Myles, everything seems to be. We sang, and danced to the radio. Everything ranging from country, to pop.
In what felt like no time at all we arrived at the stadium. Myles helped me carry in all of my equipment while also carrying his own bag.
When we walked into the room where all of the players were, they all turned towards us, noticing the sound of the door opening.
Myles and I walked through the crowd of muscular football players until we got to the area where I was supposed to set up my stuff.

As we sat everything down Myles' friends approached us. They gave him a swift pat on the back and all greeted with 'heys' and 'sups'. Jax leaned and gave me a kiss on the cheek, "Hey Harper."
I was becoming closer to the guys within the time I've been working here, but I didn't know we were this close, so it shocked me.
I looked over to Myles who had both eyebrows raised, with an equally surprised look, but after a moment his eyes narrowed slightly.
Jax laughed at the look on Myles' face. He held both hands up in surrender, "Easy man, I was just being polite."
Myles rolled his eyes and muttered something I couldn't quite hear under his breath.
I let out a small chuckle, then turn to set up my equipment.
"Do you need any help, Harper?" Jax asked, stepping towards me.
"I got it," Myles said stepping even closer. Jax smirked at him, the other letting out guffaws.
Myles met my eyes and gave me a sheepish expression. The guys looked at us with amused faces before letting out a string of whip noises.
Myles groaned and palmed his face, refusing to meet my eyes. I stifled a laugh, which caused his face to go red.
I turned around and started to set up lights, soon after Myles started helping as well.
I smiled at him, he gave me a small smile back shaking his head whilst his body convulsed with silent laughter.
Once everything was set up all of the football players went to the back room to change and prepare for the photoshoot.
I set my camera up on the tripod, focusing it to perfectly fit the backdrop. Though I know I'll have to change the setting more later on.
Behind me I hear a click clack of heels hitting the wooden floors. I turn to find Kayla walking towards me with a grin. Her Chocolate skin glistening, and dark hair flowing in soft waves behind her.

She stops once she reaches me.
"So I believe that the last time I spoke to you I told you to do something," she said with a smirk.
I narrowed my eyes at her, "Yes, you did."
"And?"
"You were right. I'm pregnant," I said, watched her face morph into a wide smile.
"How did the dad take it?"
"Great, actually."
She pursed her lips, trying not to let her already wide smile extend any further. "Did you ever get a last name?"
I gave her a small smile, and shook my head lightly with a breathy chuckle, "I have a feeling you already know. Don't you?"
She nodded her head excitedly.
"This'll be good for him. He needs something like this to make him happy," she smiled thoughtfully.
"Don't tell anyone, but he's always been my favorite," she says cheekily, with a wink.
I chuckled lightly, "Yeah, he's mine too."
Kayla gave me a wide grin. Though we didn't get to say any more before all of the football player players started to enter back into the room.
***
So far everything is going great. I've got to some really good shots of the guys. Most of the players decided to take their shirts off for the photos.
"Next!" I yelled as I look through the shots on my camera. When I looked back up Myles was standing there, and it took everything in me not to react.
His oiled body shined under the warm lights. His padded pants hung low on his hips showcasing his deep v-line. Myles held a football is his arms, the same way he would hold a baby. Our baby.
"Give me a pose."
I watch as Harper approaches the snack table, after Kayla calls it a day. Her mid-length ponytail swung behind her, the back of her neck gleamed with small droplets of sweat.
Harper picks up a bright red strawberry, then subconsciously places her hand on her stomach, placing it under her barely there bump, but noticable to the trained eye.
Harper's soft lips wrap around the edges of the fruit as she bit into it.
I slowly start to walk towards her, still studying this wondrous creature and all her habits. As I got closer our eyes met.
I smirked, "I looked good right?" I asked with my arms spread out.
She nodded her head, "Oh yeah, nice dad bod," she smirked.
I lifted my eyebrows, "Oh really?"
She nodded her head once more. I took her wrist in my hand and placed her small palm on my flexed abs. She took in a small breath of air, though I think that I succeeded in teasing myself more than I did in teasing her.
"How about now?" I whispered my lips lightly touching the top of her ear. I closed my eyes at the contact.
She shivered slightly.
I placed my forehead on hers, moving my hand down to her stomach "I may be a dad, but I definitely do not have the body of one," I paused, "...mom."
We held eye contact, her eyes narrowed slightly.
"Hey guys," Kayla lightly yells to get everyones attention.
Harper and I pull apart.
"Don't forget Friday you guys are supposed to go to that charity event for the YAA, the young athletes of America."
I look at Harper in contemplation.
She looks at me with a questioning stare.
"Go with me."
