Jonah woke up next to his sleeping wife who was snuggle in his embrace. They had gone at it for a couple hours and he couldn't be a happier man at the moment. He finally got his Mindy back. His wife.

Slowly moving her body off of his, he turns to the night stand reaching for his phone that has been beeping nonstop.

"Shit Jordan!"

They have been so tire after mating like beasts, he forgot that Jordan was on his way here and fell into a deep sleep. Getting out of bed careful not to wake up Mindy, he tiptoes down the stairs to the door opening it.

"It seems you're not dead, so... I'm gonna kill you." Jordan calmly but annoyingly says.

"Sorry dude, we fell asleep." Jonah said rubbing the back of his head trying to flatten his wild hair.

"Do you know how long I've been standing out here you ungrateful dog. I thought you were dead!" He snaps at his best friend.

"Shhhh! My wife is sleeping." Jonah whisper shouts.

At the mention of Mindy, he lowers his voice. "Oh now she's your wife. What did she suddenly forgive you? And what was this about you dying in the stream? Got me racing over here for nothing but just to be left out in the cold."

"Hahaha." Jonah chuckles. "Sorry my friend, come in and I'll explain everything but please do be quiet."

Rolling his eyes, Jordan steps into the house with his friend following behind.

"You're an idiot." Jordan plainly states.

"A smart idiot." Jonah smiles to himself proud that him and Mindy are on good terms again.

Before their conversation can continue longer, Mindy strolls down the stairs, her presence shutting the guys up. Jonah immediately gets off the couch and tends to his wife eloping her in a hug.

"How are you feeling?" he asks her.

A slight blush creeps onto her face. "Good." She simply replies.

Seeing Jordan with a huge grin on his face, she loosens herself. "Jordan please look at Jonah, he might have caught something."

"Already did! The only thing it seems he has caught is you."

She rolls her eyes at him but his words made her smile deeply.

"How about you? Let me take at a look at you and baby Jonah okay?" he said moving over to her.

Both men escort her to the couch before Jordan starts his checkup.

After he was finished, he says everything looks fine but suggested they go back into town to do a thorough check tomorrow.

"Okay then, baby should we go back now? Mom and your parents are worried sick about you." Jonah asked her.

"But the keys..."

"Ah about that." He gets off the couch and goes into a drawer nearby and pulls out a car key. "I forgot to tell you, I have a spare."

Mindy eyes him like she was ready to shoot him. "I hate you."

"Love you too." He puts on his best puppy face.

They pull up to the house by the time night had already fallen.

"I'm scare, nervous." Mindy said taking a deep breath.

Jonah puts a hand over hers, "It's okay, I'll be right next to you. Your dad will probably have my head though."

"Good, you deserve it."

"You still didn't forgive me yet? I'll have this car turn around." He joked.

"You keep giving me new reasons to be upset."

"Sorry baby, I promise from here on out, no more secrets."

"Yeah, let's do this." She mentally prepares herself to face everyone. She knew what she did was irrational and stupid, and fear that everyone was upset with her decision. And she especially didn't know how it would be like with her father.

They step out of the car, Jonah taking her small hand into his large one locking them together. He moves slowly with her a couple steps behind.

Right when they walk in, they are greeted with some maids who from shocked at seeing them together, didn't properly greet them. Jonah was about to address them, but Agatha and Dexter walks into the foyer.

"Master. Ma'am." Even Dexter was shocked to see Mindy.

"Oh my darling." Agatha pulls Mindy into a tight hug. "Dear child, don't ever worry us like that again."

"I'm sorry Agatha." She lets go of Jonah and tightly hugs her back trying to hold in tears that are ready to fall.

"It's okay, you're back safe and sound now."

"Welcome back madam." Dexter said with a warm smile. "Welcome back Master."

The maids that were there all said their quick welcomes before departing the foyer.

"Where's the parents?" Jonah asked Dexter.

"They are in the family room." He replied.

"Thanks."

With that, he once again locks hands with Mindy, and walks towards the family room.

They slowly enter the room, seeing their parents with tea cups set on the rectangular table each parent seemingly staring into space.

"Momma." Mindy softly spoke.

Everyone turns to the sound of her voice.

"Oh god. Mindy!" Her mom Grace was the first to spoke and hop out of her seat. She runs over to her daughter pulling her into her embrace.

"Mom." The tears that she was holding spill out of her eyes. "Mom I'm so sorry."

Nina and Bruce also got up but only Nina walked up to them.

"Thank the lord for bringing you back safely to us." Nina said hugging her right after Grace let her go. "Thank you son for finding her." She smiles at her son.

After letting go of Nina, Mindy looks towards her father who was staring at her with the saddest eyes she's ever seen on a man.

"Dad," she whispers loud enough for him to hear her.

He opens his arms and Mindy didn't need words to tell her, she runs right into her father's embrace.

"I'm so sorry dad. I'm really sorry. I'm a horrible daughter and called you horrible names." she cried in her father's arms.

"No no no baby. You did nothing wrong, this isn't any of your fault. It's me who should be sorry. I dare laid hand on my baby girl. I'm sorry honey please forgive your father." His voice cracks and tears roll down his face.

She shakes her head, "It's okay dad. I'm not upset and I don't hate you. I love you."

"I love you too princess."

They hug for a good two minutes before letting go of each other.

"Come on, your mother and I are taking you home."

"What?..." she looks at her father then her mother.

"This is her home." Jonah said before anyone can say anything. "She's my wife and this is her home, she will be staying here with me."

"In your dreams! My daughter is going home with me. I'll be damn if I let her suffer in your hands again." Bruce challenges him. "Come on darling we're leaving."

"Now Bruce wait..." Nina started saying.

Without letting go of Mindy's arm, he motions for his wife to leave but before he can get her past Jonah, he grabbed onto her other arm stopping both of them and her breath in their tracks.

"I said she will be staying." Jonah tried to hide the anger that was boiling deep within him. He knows that Bruce have every right to want to take his daughter away but there was no way that he was going to let that happen. Not when he just got her back, not ever.

"Let go of my daughter now!"

Grace grab hold of Bruce's arm while Nina grabs Jonah. Both men stared into each other's eyes ready to fight for the woman that they love.

"Dad." Mindy said loosening herself from her father's grip. "I want to stay with Jonah."

Bruce couldn't believe the words that he was hearing coming out from his daughter's mouth.

"Why? He's nothing but the devil! I will not allow it."

"Dad I love him. Please understand." Mindy stares at her father with eyes glistening from the tears that threaten to come out. She can only hope he sees the sincerity and love she held for Jonah.

Bruce couldn't stand to look at her eyes full of pain yet determination. He looks away at nothingness lost in his own thought.

"Bruce, I know I will never be good enough for your daughter and she probably deserves so much more. But I truly love her with my every breath, my heart and soul. There is nothing I wish more in the world than to provide, love and care for her for the rest of my life and even after. Please give us your blessing." Jonah said meaning every word that came out of his mouth.

The tears that Mindy was holding ran down her face hearing the very words her husband spoke and she has never feel more loved than now.

"I..." Bruce looks at his daughter and then at Jonah. He knew every word that Jonah spoke was true. He had seen the love that Jonah had for his daughter the first time that he came to ask for their blessing.

Sighing, he nods his head admitting defeat.

A smile stretch across Mindy's face, if possible it would have reached her ears. Jumping up and squealing she throughs her arms over her father and he returning her hug. Everyone else in the room seemingly is able to breath comfortably again especially Jonah.

When Mindy finally let go of her father, he looks at Jonah sternly. "Now this doesn't mean that I have forgiven you. I warn you..."

"Just forgive him!" Mindy cuts him off.

"Besides, I'm pregnant." She smiles at everyone.
