"So... what should we do with this junk?" Maki asked

"Maybe we need to use these on those mysterious things all over the campus?" I answer unsurely

"And what'll happen when we do?" Tsumugi questioned

"I'm....not sure."

"Well, we'll know once we try, I'll take the junk then." Kokichi suggests excitedly

"Shouldn't we leave this to Shuichi? I mean he's a detective right, he should be good at things like this." I say

"Okay...I'll try." Shuichi speaks up

"Maaan... whatevs, I guess that's fine." Kokichi rolled his eyes at me. Everyone then began to exit the dining hall, but I stayed behind

"Need help? I figured everyone was just gonna leave it up to you to solve everything, but I can help you! ..if you want." I ask Shuichi

"Yeah sur—"

"Hey! You two again!? And here I thought y/n and I were closee" Kokichi pouted, he showed up out of nowhere..

"I guess you can come wit—"

"Yup! Of course I'm coming, gotta make sure this emo detective doesn't do anything to my fire lady ya know?" Kokichi then wrapped his arms around me and hugged me from the side.

"Your...fire lady...? Excuse me—" I said. I knew my face was probably getting red by now from all the attention, but none of the boys said anything.

"Let's just go." Shuichi suggested, Kokichi let go of me and we both followed the detective.

After searching for a bit, Shuichi uncovered a secret passageway from using one of the objects we received. Walking down the hall, there was a door. It seemed to be another ultimate research lab.

"It looks like it could be the ultimate magician's lab." I say, we walk into the room and were greeted with a bunch of stuff related to magic tricks. Tsumugi was also in the room along with Himiko.

We decided to talk to them for a little bit while also looking around at the stuff and then we left.

We unlocked another passageway, the research lab we found this time belonged to the ultimate maid. Korekiyo and Kirumi were in the room.

The lab looked like it was set to be in the Victorian era, it was quite nice! Although....for some reasons there were mannequins in her room, sitting at a table...? It creeped me out a bit.

I talked to Kirumi while Kokichi did his job bothering Shuichi as they looked around.

Not long after we left Kirumi's lab, we found another research lab. Most likely Gonta's. It had a bunch on insects as the design on the door.

"Do we....have to go in there??" I ask, I don't mind Gonta but I cannot stand bugs.

"You're not scared of bugs...are you!? Just wait until I tell Gonta!" Kokichi ran into the room, Shuichi following him and me entering last. Just as I suspected, the place was full of insects.

"Amazing! This paradise!" Gonta smiled as he looked around his own room.

"Hey Gonta! Did you know that y/n ha—" before Kokichi could finish his sentence I cover his mouth with my hand.

"Huh? Y/n what?" Gonta asked in confusion

"Ahaha! Nothinggg, don't listen to Kokichi, whatever he says is a li—" just as I was about to finish talking Kokichi....licked my hand!? I instantly let him go and rubbed my hand against my clothes to clean it. "Eww! What the hell Kokichi!"

"Nishishi!" He laughed as he stood next to me. Gonta just stood there in confusion and Shuichi was busy looking around.

"Is y/n okay? Kokichi do something wrong?" Gonta asked

"Um, yeah! He hurt me, you should attack him Gonta!"

"Heeeeey! Now that's a bad lie. If you're gonna lie at least make it believabl—" Kokichi was cut off by Gonta

"Kokichi...hurt...y/n!? That not very gentlemen of you!" Gonta then picked up Kokichi like it was nothing and locked him out of the room.

"What's.. going on...." Shuichi asked in confusion, but I was too busy laughing. You were able to hear Kokichi outside the door, asking to be let back in.

"Thank you Gonta" I say in between laughs

"Heyyyyyy!!! Not funny y/n!" Kokichi yelled from the other side of the door.

After a little bit, Shuichi finally looked at everything and was able to move onto the next room, when we walked out we saw Kokichi sitting on the floor with a pouting face. I ignored that and continued to walk with shuichi, but I noticed Kokichi wasn't following.

"Uh, Kokichi? Aren't you gonna come with us?" I asked him, but he just turned his head. I guess he was mad at me for tricking Gonta into thinking that he attacked me, but still...that was really funny.

"Something wrong?" Shuichi turned back, noticing I had stopped walking

"Oh, yeah. You can go on without us for a second. Kokichi is being stubborn..we'll catch up soon! " I say. Shuichi nods and walks away

"Ok c'mon Kokichi! It was funny..." there was some silence for a bit but then he finally turned his head towards me.

"....Y'know what would make me feel better...?~" Kokichi spoke. He had already gotten up and was noticeably closer to me than before.

"No." Was all I said, I had an idea of what he was suggesting but I wasn't ready...yet at least. but he seemed to get the message.

"Aw maaan... eh, whatever." Was all he said and then he started walking to catch up with Shuichi.

"Hey wait! So you're not mad? Or anything..?" I ask, walking alongside Kokichi.

"Nope! It was all a lie, Nishishi!"

"Um...yeah. I knew that."

After we all met up again, the three of us found another research lab, but the door design didn't give any hints to who it might belong to. It was just red and gold. Just as Shuichi was about to open the door, maki appeared.

"....I did not give you permission to enter."

"Oh, maki? So this is the Ultimate Child Caregiver's lab... You wouldn't think so, judging by the door—"

"You're right. Goodbye." Maki cut off Shuichi

"Hey wait! Can we look inside for a bit? It's completely okay if no—"

"No." Now she cut me off too...why is she being so secretive..?

"What? But...there's no rule against people going into each other's labs..." Shuichi said

"I don't care about the rules. I'm not letting anyone inside. Especially not when that annoying brat is with you guys."

"You hear that guys? She's not letting us in because there's an annoying brat with us!!" Kokichi whined

"So...who's gonna tell him—"

"So, what's up? You don't want anyone to enter your lab, maki?" Kokichi ignored my comment

"Don't be so pushy, Shuichi. It's not good to do stuff that'll make a girl upset, y'know?"

"Ah, okay.... I understand."

"Good, then stay away. If you try to go inside, it would be extremely painful..." maki then looked at us with a scary expression. "...for you." and with that, we all walked away to look for other labs.

The other lab we ran into was the ultimate Tennis Pro's lab, and later on we also discovered a pool. As we were walking around Angie informed us to meet up with the others in the gym. Something about a flashlight..?
