-Wakes up confused
-Says "What, what? What's wrong?"
-Asks you what exactly the nightmare was about, listens and nods
-Says, "Wow. That sounds really scary...but kind of cool too, actually, like a movie"
-Gets up and makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the both of you and suggests playing a game to get your mind off it
-He wakes you up because you are crying out in your sleep
-He tells you he has these sorts of dreams all the time
-Puts his arm around you and tells you to relax
-He promises he'll stay awake all night and sit by your side
-Holds you close and cuddles you
-Tells you to shhhh in a soft, soothing voice
-Tells you it's not real, over and over again
-You fall asleep again with his arms around you
-He wakes up fully and asks what happened in the dream
-You tell him, tearfully
-He goes "Hm. I remember something about this in my psychology class"
-He starts discussing at length how the brain processes information
-You smile because you're not scared anymore, and go back to sleep listening to him talk
-Is mean and decides to scare you even more
-Says "Frightened, my child?" in a creepy voice and starts running his cold fingers up your spine
-When you scream in total terror he realizes he went too far
-He gives you a smacking kiss on the top of your head and tells you to go back to sleep
-"Like anything could happen with ME here, you're safe!"
-When you scream, he sits up and immediately switches on the light
-Says, "What the hell?"
-You instantly feel better just looking at him rubbing his eyes
-You tell him you had a bad dream
-He says, "Oh, one of those," and switches off the light again

-He tells you that bad dreams are a Zoldyck family trait and that it is helpful to count backwards from 100 after you have one
-Is very startled when you cry out, but composes himself quickly
-When you describe the nightmare to him, he visibly stiffens
-You say, "What's the matter?"
-He grabs a thick book off the shelf and starts paging through it
-"This is some sort of ancient prophecy," he says. "It could be a bad sign of something"
-When you scream, he doesn't jump up, just opens his eyes wide and lays perfectly still
-Once he realizes nobody else is in the room, he sits up
-Asks you what's the matter
-You tell him you are too afraid to go to sleep again
-He rolls his eyes, pulls his sword out from under the bed, and shows it to you
-He does give you a little reassuring kiss before lying back down and going to sleep
-He sleeps like a rock, not even your nightmare wakes him up
-You shake him awake in a panic
-He's like, "What? WTF"
-Is instantly sympathetic when you tell him you had a bad dream
-Says don't bother telling him what it's about, let's think about something else
-He hums a happy-sounding song to you to put you back to sleep
