It was finally the weekend and I realized today I would hangout with Marcus at the fair. I got up and showered and changed my clothes. I walked downstairs and decided to watch some Shark Tank with David.

"Morning ass wipe" David laughed at his comment. I looked at him and smacked him "At least I don't smell like an ass wipe. Ugh go take a shower dumb ass" he frowned "I was planning on doing so after this episode anyways" I asked him if he had any plans today but he said he didn't. "Why not join my friend and I at the fair today?" he smiled and sat up "wait really? Hold up is she hot?" he smirked. "If you think dudes are hot then sure" I smirked back at him. We both laughed. "I'll go get ready now. Oh can Jose go too? I don't want to be third wheeling alone." I chuckled "Yeah go ask him. WAIT WE'RE JUST FRIENDS!" He stopped and turned "Or so you think" and he ran up the stairs.

I texted Marcus to let him know David and Joseph were going with us to the fair.

Isabel: Hey my brothers are going with us to the fair.

Marcus: Sounds good. :)

An hour later everyone was ready to go. David and Marcus got in my car and I asked them to grab my phone and text Marcus that we were on our way. "Oh he said his sister and her friend are coming too." I was confused "Tell him there's only room for two people"

I was pulling into his driveway and saw the front door open. Out walked Marcus, Laura ,and KASANDRA! "shit " I mumbled. The twins looked at me concerned "What?" Marcus and Laura opened the door. "Hey thanks for picking us up" He smiled at me "Yeah no problem. Oh there's not enough room back there so one of you are gonna have to sit on the others lap" I looked at the twins. "Oh c'mon" they nagged. "Hey girl!" Kasandra looked at me and smiled "Hey" I gave her a small smile.

We arrived at the parking lot and got out of the car once I entered a parking spot. "You like roller coasters Isa?" he looked at me curiously "Uh not really why?"

"Well I was thinking we should go on that big one" He pointed at the biggest roller coaster in the fairground. "Uh m-maybe" He chuckled "I'm just messing with you Isa" he lightly shoved me.

We went on a couple rides and decided to take a break and go eat something. I sat next to my brothers and waited for the food to be ready. We finished eating and my brothers went their own way and Laura and Kasandra went their own way as well. I was left alone with Marcus. We decided to go on Zero Gravity. The ride was fun and a little spooky.

We walked around after a while. Marcus stopped by the shade and took a swig of his water bottle. "Hey you smoke?" I looked at him and shook my head "You tryna go somewhere and smoke real quick?"

"I-I don't know" He looked at me reassuringly. "C'mon it'll be okay"

We walked behind one of the buildings nearby. Marcus pulled out a small pocket sized box and opened it up. I immediately got a whiff of weed and was kind of scared. "Here you can have this one" I hesitantly took the joint. He pulled out a mini lighter and lit my joint. I took a small hit and began to cough like a maniac. "Oh god. I can't take this" I gave him back the joint. "So you can't take a small joint?" He laughed. "C'mon Isa. One more" I took another hit and I began to feel weird. "I-I don't like this feeling" He looked at me "I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you to do that. I thought it would be fun" After a while he finished off his joint and his eyes looked a bit irritated.

"Hey I've been wondering?" Marcus looked at me "I know we've known each other for not too long but I'm catching feelings for you and I wanted to know if you maybe felt the same way?" I didn't know what to say. "I feel the same way I just didn't know how to tell you" He looked at me and smiled. He got a bit closer and hugged me. I felt safe in his arms and melted into his touch. He smelled like cologne and a hint of weed still. He placed his hand at the back of my head and placed a small kiss on my forehead."Where are your glasses?" I heard Marcus ask "Oh I uh lost them" He chuckled softly "Well you look cute without them too"

We walked back to the fairgrounds hand in hand. Once the sun began to vanish I got in line for the Ferris wheel with Marcus. The sky was completely dark except for the rides lighting up the area.

We got onto the Ferris wheel and Marcus placed his arm around my shoulder as we went up. I looked out into the distance and felt the slight breeze flow through my hair. I felt a warm hand reach over and grab my chin lightly. I looked over at Marcus and I could tell what was about to happen. He leaned in and so did I. He placed a small chaste kiss on my lips and I could feel his smile. I cupped his cheek and moved my lips rhythmically on his. He reciprocated slowly with my movements. Nothing about the kiss was rushed and it felt truly affectionate.

After the ride we met back up with everyone else and walked back to my car. We drove to a nearby fro yo place and ate there. I got strawberry and Banana and added some gummy bears. I sat down at a table and dug in. Everyone else soon joined me at the table. Of course Marcus sat close to me which I expected. We all sat at the table talking about the cutest people at school when I felt Marcus's hand slide over behind my back and hold onto my waist and he leaned a bit into me. His warmth was all I needed right now.

I drove back to Marcus's house and dropped everyone off. Before opening the passenger door Marcus leaned over and placed a small kiss on my cheek. "Goodnight" and with that he left.

On my way back home the twins bombarded me with questions about why he kissed my cheek and why he was being affectionate with me if we weren't dating.

I went and got ready for bed and I received a text from Marcus

Isabel: Goodnight :)

My eyelids started to feel heavy and before I knew it, I was asleep.
