Morgan has finally put out his first full length album, he's set to be on a tour with Florida Georgia Line and he's pumped. Haley's a little nervous for her boyfriend to be away for three or so months but she's excited for him.

"Please be careful." She whispers to him as she watches him pack up some clothes. "Don't be a dumbass."

"I'll try my best." He laughs, shaking his head. "I promise."

"Good." She sits on the bed next to his bag, watching him back. "I wish I could go with you."

"Me too but there's no room. I'm sorry."

"I totally get it." She gives him a soft smile that turns into a giggle when he grabs her ankle, lifting her up for her to wrap her long legs around his waist. "I don't think I can survive with out you for three months."

"Hardest three months but we can handle it." He smiles, bumping his nose against hers. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Haley sighs heavily, running her hand through her hair. She just finished dusting and vacuuming. She also cleaned the windows, bedsheets, the bathroom and some laundry. He's called her every night, he tries to at least. She's incredibly lonely- even when Caleigh and Michael around.

Her phone starts going off like crazy around eleven at night, startling her. She opens it up and her heart drops.

It's a video of her boyfriend making out with a girl at a bar and he's obviously drunk. Tears form in her eyes at the sight of them groping each other.

She tosses her phone onto the bed and stands, tears slipping down her cheeks as she starts pacing. She rolls her eyes as her phone rings; it's Caleigh.

"I- I don't want to talk right now." She sniffles, sliding down the wall to sit on the floor. "That fuckin asshole made me a goddamn promise."

"I'm on my way over right now." She says simply, grabbing her purse as she ignores Michael asking questions.

"No, I'm fine." She manages out, her voice cracking and shaking. "Don't- don't-"

"It's too late, Haley, I'm turning down your road." She says before she hangs up.

Haley rushes to the door when she hears it open and immediately wraps her arms around her best friend, sobbing against her shoulder. Caleigh doesn't know what to do so she just lowers them to sit on the floor, holding the blonde bartender in a tight hug.

"He made a goddamn promise, Michael." Haley snaps, glaring at him as she starts to pack up a suitcase.

"Where the hell are you goin'?" He asks, leaning against the dresser with his arms crossed.

"Anywhere but here." She's pissed- beyond pissed about this. "I told him about what Matt did and he- he-"

"As far as I know, he didn't fuck no one."

"But he kissed another girl." She starts to the door but she's stopped by Michael's hands on her shoulders. "Move."

"Haley-"

"No. Please move." Michael huffs and lets her by, sighing as she makes it down the hallway.

The door suddenly swings open revealing a very distressed Morgan. "Haley, listen to-"

She tries to ignore him but it's hard to do when he grabs her chin. She smacks his hand away, tears forming in her eyes. "Move." She whispers.

"Where are you going?" He asks, following her out to her Dodge. "Baby-"

She suddenly spins and glares at him. "Don't call me that."

"Don't leave, Haley." He begs, smacking his hand against the driver side door to keep her from opening it.

Caleigh and Michael watch from the porch, his arm around her waist as she fights back tears of her own. She knows that these two are meant to be together; soul mates but it's hard to see their future together when shit like this happens.

"Please move your hand, Morgan." She sounds exhausted, keeping her eyes down. He grabs her jaw again and kisses her hard, so hard that it makes her head spin. She fails to keep her hands at her side, letting one go to his cheek before she pulls away. "Don't."

Morgan has tears of his own in his eyes when he steps back, letting her drive away. "What the hell are you doing!?" Caleigh shouts at the shorter brunette. "You're just gonna let her go!?"

"Space- I'm givin' her space." He forces out, forcing his tears back. "I fucked up real bad."

"She told you- you promised-" Caleigh shakes her head. "I can't believe this."

"This ain't the end for us, it can't be. It won't be."

"Make this right. That girl has done nothin' but good things for you. Girls like her don't grow on trees." Hardy says, punctuating his sentence with a juicy dip spit. "She's a good one."

"I can't lose her, man." Morgan sniffles. "I love her. Where is she goin'?"

"I don't know."

"Haley Mae, whatcha doin' here?" Louisa May asks, immediately wrapping her arms around her youngest.

"I just missed you guys." She says, sighing heavily.

"Well, how long're you here for?"

"Until I go back to Nashville." She kicks her boots off then heads inside.

The two women sit at the table for a while until Haley stands. "I'm gonna go for a drive, clear my head."

"Okay, yeah." She leans over and kisses her forehead.

Haley picks up her purse and steps into her shoes before she runs to her Dodge and starts it up, heading into town.

"Haley Mae." Preston says fondly when he sees her old Dodge pull into the shop. "Whatcha doin' here?" He wraps her in a friendly hug. "Figured I'd never see you again." He smiles, his heart still full of love for this girl.

"Surprise." She forces a smile. "You busy?"

"Uh," he glances back at the garage full of trucks and tractors. "No." He chuckles. "What's up?"

"Wanna grab some lunch?" She smiles when she sees his face light up. "I'll drive."

"Sure. Lemme just tell my, uh, dad." Preston heads back into the shop to tell his old man that he's taking his lunch break. He can't help the smile on his face as he joins Haley in her Ramcharger. "Where to?"

"There's that diner off Main; Estelle's."

"Sounds good."

She bites her lip as she turns out of the lot and drives down the street to the only diner in Lynchburg.

"What brings you back here?" Preston asks, tucking a pinch behind his lip.

They're sitting on the bench in front of the diner after enjoying their pleasant meal together after about five years of being away from each other; never a dull moment between the two as they sat, catching up.

"I just, y'know, missed everyone." Haley lies.

"Girl, I know you like the back of my hand." Preston says, leaning back against the splintering bench with a handsome smile. "Lay it on me."

She sighs again, tucking her honey blonde hair behind her ear. "It's nothing." Her heart sinks at the look she gets from her ex boyfriend.

"Haley-" Haley stands and starts pacing. "Just talk to me; just as friends."

"I saw a video of my boyfriend fuckin' 'round with another girl." She mumbles, her big blue eyes filling up with tears. "After I told him how my ex did the same damn thing."

He doesn't know what to say.

This girl deserves better.

She deserves the whole goddamn world.

Preston shakes his head, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "I just needed to be home; clear my mind."

"I get that." He nods, rubbing her back. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Preston gives her a look. "In time." He squeezes her shoulder. "You should stop by the farm after work."

"Sure." He smiles. "Shit, I gotta get back to the shop."

Haley sighs as she digs her keys out of her purse and heads to her SUV with Preston in tow.
