I walk down the halls
Of the school I go to everyday.
But it's amazing
How different it is
When I close my eyes.
My other senses
Come alive
And another world forms
No longer bound
By that one major sense.
The world around me expands
To notice things in a way
I never did before.
The different smells
Assault my nose.
The fruity scent of lotions
And the manly scent of colognes
Against the lemony scent of chemicals
The janitors use to clean the floors.
I end up hearing
The squeak of shoes against tile
And the thousands of conversations
Going on at one time.
The slam of the lockers reverberate
Up and down the halls
Like gunshots
In the middle of war.
I realize
Just how many people
Brush past me at one time
That I never noticed before.
We go through life
Looking through our eyes
But never really
Seeing the world
As it is.

The direction of the story : The story will not contain any main protagonist, rather multiple protagonists and antagonists with the protagonists having bad some character traits and the antagonists some good ones. I plan to make a story of flawed humans, so if you are looking for OP MCs you would not enjoy it. But I still hope you give it a try. This is my first time writing and I am doing it to get better, so any suggestion or criticism is welcome. I am a university student, so do not expect a robust upload schedule, I'll try to put out 2 chapters a week, but there might be some delays. I apologize for it in advance. P.s. English is not my native language, so there might be some errors, though I tried to mitigate them as much as possible.
