About what really happened
On that fateful day.
I walked home
From the bus

But today I walk fast
Because waiting for me
Are my cheese sticks.

The day before
And now
I can eat them.
I yank open the fridge
And see nothing.

My sister comes through the door
With my cheese stick in her hand.

The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on.
