OHM
I heard P' New shouting from his place behind the monitor. I moved my head to look at him, curious about why he seemed to be unhappy with the scene we had just taken.
"Samantha! What the hell are you doing?" He asked.
I moved my attention at Sammy who was obviously trying to suppress her laughter. I was a bit confused at what was happening so with furrowed brows I asked, "Sammy, what happened?"
Then she couldn't control herself anymore, so she laughed her heart out. Everyone in the room were looking at her waiting for her to stop and explained why she was laughing.
"I'm so sorry." She said then looked at P' New. "I'm sorry Phi. I just couldn't take it anymore. It's Ohm's fault!" She even pointer her finger on my direction.
"Huh?! What are you talking about, Samantha?" I asked incredulously.
"Yeah. Why is it his fault?" P' New asked curiously. "You're impossible, Sammy! When we're almost done with the scene, you chose to be like this and blame it to you're partner."
"I'm really sorry, P' New. It's really Ohm's fault. I think he saw the love of his life on me while filming our scene."
"Why?" P' New asked, while I was thinking what I did a while ago that made Sammy laughed like that.
"Phi, didn't you hear what he said?" P' New just shook his head in response. "He said Fluke's name instead of the name of my character."
P' New looked at me in disbelief.
"Did I? You're lying!"
"No, I'm not! I know what I heard and you really said that!" Sammy countered.
P' New went back to his place and did something. Then, I heard the last take we had being played loudly. Everyone waited for the part that Sammy had been telling us about. And then . . .

"I love you, Fluke."
I felt like a whole bucket of ice was poured on me when I realized that I really did say those words. I knew this would happen since I've been thinking about the what ifs even before we started to take the scene. I just wanted to imagine how it would be if Fluke agreed to have a romantic dinner with me. Unfortunately, my imagination went overboard to the point that I even imagined him while filming with Sammy.
"So?" P' New was the one who broke the silence.
"Phi," I started, "I'm sorry. I don't have any excuse, just sorry."
"So that means you were imagining Fluke having a date with you, right?"
I just nodded my head in response and ducked my head low. Then I heard laughter. I looked up and saw all of them laughing their hearts out. Right then I became the laughingstock once again. What did I ever do to deserve it? Ugh!
"Alright, everyone! Stop laughing now. We still have a scene to finish. I have a family to go home to. So, get back to your places and be serious!" P' New gave me a sympathetic look that made me feel a bit better. "And, one more thing," he continued, "Now that you know that our beloved main actor is in love with our author, I don't want any of you to talk about it to anyone else. If I hear any gossips about it or the things that happened today, you won't be working with us anymore, you are all gonna say goodbye to your work, and I'll definitely make sure of that. Got it?"
"Yes, Phi!" Everyone replied then got back to work. I let out a sigh of relief after that.

"Ohm, we have to talk later after this."
"Yes, Phi."
The filming after that incident did not end quickly. It took three more takes because Sammy still couldn't recover from her laughing spree. The nerve of that woman! I thought she was my best friend, but she was the first to make fun of me.
As everything was settled. I went to my tent to get my things and prepare to leave. Sammy went inside and hugged me. "I'm sorry, best friend. I didn't mean to laugh at you. I just. . ."
"It's okay, Sammy. It was actually my fault. If I didn't say those words, you wouldn't be laughing like that anyways." I explained and hugged him back.
"Tomorrow is a free day, are you going home to your family or to your condo?" She asked as she released me from her hug.
"Condo, since we only have one day free and the call time the day after tomorrow is too early."
"Okay. I'll see you then." She said and hugged me again before she headed out. "Take care!"
"You, too!"
I went out of my tent after gathering my things and looked for P' New. He was talking to one of the staff.
"Ohm!" He said and waved at me. "You have to send me home this time. That's your punishment for what happened a while ago." I felt embarrassed again when I remembered what happened.
"Did something happen to your car?"
"My wife and the kids sent me here this morning. Her car is in the garage for repairs, so she borrowed mine. She brought the kids with her and told me they were going to kidnap someone."
I smiled. "Kidnap?"
"Yup, that's her term for spending time with someone she misses so much. Since that person is always busy, I think kidnap is just the appropriate word."
I chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. I think that's the right term."
As I was driving, P' New asked, "Since you're already with me, why don't you have dinner with us? So you could meet my wife and the kids. And hopefully, the one they kidnapped is still there."
"Is it okay, Phi? I mean I would gladly grab the opportunity to have home-cooked meal after a long day at work. I will be going home to an empty condo anyways, and I don't feel like having cup noodles this time."
"Get a partner already. Someone who would be welcoming you when you get home from work. That feeling is really great, trust me."
"Do you think he would agree to live with me?" I said nonchalantly.
"Oi!" P' New yelled, "Your thoughts are going overboard again! You're already thinking about Fluke as your lifetime partner?"
"Why, Phi? I just thought that you're suggestion was good. And he's the first person I imagined to be that someone who would welcome me when I get home every day." I said and giggled, "I will always want to go home right away, if he's the one waiting for me."
"You're really in love with him." He said and sighed. "Just promise me that you won't hurt him."
"I promise."
