《Foster Brothers | COMPLETED》Ch. 25 - Formal?

The winter formal is this the day before Christmas Eve, and Madison has been bugging about it all week. Its Thursday, and thank God it's the last week before winter break.
Right now I am too busy with exams to worry about the formal to be honest.
"Please, go!" Madison exclaimed.
We were sitting at the lunch table like everyday. Hailey has been sitting with us this week, and a learned more about her. She's really sweet, and she is perfect for Gaberial.
"Dances aren't my thing," I said, again.
"Please!" She begged again.
"For the love of god, please just go!" Nichole said, annoyed.
"I'll go, but one condition," I started, and she nodded. "You won't go all crazy."
She nodded, eagerly.
"Thank you, Cam," Nick muttered, and Madison heard it because she threw a french fry at him.
"Babe, she hit me with a french fry!" Nick said, looking at Nichole.
She looked up from her food, and looked at each of them then shrugged.
"Fries before guys," she said.
He placed a hand on his heart, dramatically,"That hurt very much."
"Oh please! Food is your true love, and you know it," she replied, rolling her eyes.
"Now Brent, what about you?" Madison asked him.
"I'll go."
Everybody stopped what they were doing and looked at him.
"Who are you and where is Brent Mason?" Gavin asked, pointing his fork at Brent.
"Can't I just go to one dance like a regular human being?" Brent asked.
"You can if it wasn't you. Brent you hate dances," Anna said.
"Hated. I hated dances. I just have a reason to go this year," he said, giving me a charming smile.
Somebody call 911! I think this boy done stopped my heart!

"Hmmph. Wonder what reason?" Anna mumbled.
"We are going shopping tomorrow since the dance is Monday. Is everybody okay with that?" Madison asked.
"Yep," Hailey answered.
"But tomorrow is Friday......" Nichole whined.
"We could always go today," Madison suggested.
She quickly shook her head,"Nope. Tomorrow is perfectly fine."
The bell rang, making us groan, except for Anna and Hailey. Since Elliot is in a cast, Anna has been helping him carry his books and anything else he needs for class.
"Campbell, wait up!" Brent called, running up to me.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I was wondering. Can I drive you home later today?" He asked, walking slowly.
"Sure."
"Great."
Why did I feel like he is hiding something?

The last bell of the day rang, and I couldn't be happier. I had to stop by my locker so the hallways were pretty empty.
I grabbed my book before suddenly my locker was slammed shut. I dropped my book, and I looked over to see Clary.
I sighed,"How can I help you, Clary?"
She crossed her hands across her chest,"I thought I warned you to stay away from Brent."
"And I don't have to listen to you," I replied, grabbing my book from the floor.
She licked her lips,"I can ruin you, so I would watch it, Campbell."
"How?" I asked her.
"Many, many ways."
I bit my lip from laughing. "Good luck with that. You don't scare me."
And with that I walked away. Clary thinks she can just walk all over me, but I'm not going to let her.
My mood lighten up when I saw Brent standing at his car. He saw me, and he opened my door.

"Such a gentleman," I teased, climbing into my seat.
"Always."
He closed the door, and he walked over to his side. Once he was in the car, we were off to my house.
It was silent, but it a was a comfortable silence. I looked out my window to look at the sky.
When he parked his car in front of my house ten minutes later, he got out. It surprised me a little because I didn't know that he was staying over.
"I have a surprise for you," he said before I opened the front door.
I furrowed my eyebrows,"In the house?"
He nodded, and he opened the door. Lisa and Ross were sitting on the couch with Winter. The girls were here too.
What is going on?
"Campbell, hey," Anna said with a wave.
I waved back,"Hi? I didn't know y'all were coming over."
"We decided last minute," Hailey said.
"Okay, well I have to drop my bag off on my room then we can hang out," I replied, starting to walk up the steps.
I didn't even notice that Brent was gone. Why is everybody acting so weird?
I shrugged to myself, and I walked up the steps to my room. The door was opened a little, and I slowly opened the door.
There with a teddy bear and a bag of gummy bears in his hands was Brent. The lights were off, but there was candles lit all around my room and on the floor with rose petals around it.
Formal?
I covered my mouth in surprise. I looked back at Brent who was waiting for my answer.
"Yes!" I exclaimed, happily.
He smiled, and he walked up to me. I hugged him, and he kissed my head.
"She said yes!" Madison's voice yelled in happiness.
Brent and I broke apart, and I looked at my doorway. There was the girls, Ross and Lisa, and the boys watching us.
Madison was the first one to run up to me. I think she was more excited than I was to be honest. The boys walked over to Brent, giving him the bro hug boys do.
The girls and Lisa were over with me, cheering and talking about what dress we all we were going to wear.
Winter formal couldn't get here fast enough.
