"She's not waking up. Throw water on her face."
"She'll literally murder me if I do and you know that, Bruno."
"I'd do it if I had hands instead of paws. You had enough courage to kiss her, yet you can't throw water on her."
He groans. "Don't remind me."
"Why? Was it that bad?"
"No! Of course not. It was.. really nice actually. I don't know. My mind is a mix of emotions right now."
"Well, well, well. You looked like you were enjoying it quite a bit though. Holding her tightly towards you and all-"
"Shut up Bruno! I just hope she doesn't remember it because she might just attack me for doing it without her permission."
"I think she'll be fine. I mean did you see the way her arms wrapped around your neck-"
"Okay stop. I don't wanna talk about this."
I moan, opening my eyes slowly. I blink fast, trying to take in my surroundings. We were in the living room of the house, and I was laying on the couch.
"She's awake!" I hear Bruno say, and then I remember everything.
"What- what's wrong with my hand?" I say, lifting my right hand up and staring at it. There was a large scar across it, and there were also small burns around it.
"H-Hey, you're awake." I turn and see Jungkook, who's sitting on the couch in front of me. His cheeks are a light pink, and he looks as if he's contemplating something.
"Y-yeah. My hand is really fucked up though."
As soon as I say that, Jungkook is next to me. He grabs my wrist, pulling my arm up and examining my hand. "The key did this. Do you remember what happened?"

I nod my head, pulling my hand back. "I remember everything."
Jungkook freezes. "Everything?" He mumbles.
Bruno snorts.
"Everything," I say, a small smile forming on my face, "Even the kiss."
And now Jungkook's gone again, walking away from me and ruffling his hair. He turns and looks at me. "I'm- I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do it, I just needed to bring you back, you were totally out of it. I really shouldn't have done that, even though I liked it- wait no, um, uh- Bruno told me to!" Jungkook shouts, pointing at the dog.
Bruno scoffs. "Of course I didn't."
I roll my eyes, standing up from the couch. "It doesn't matter. What matters is that you literally saved my life. Thank you, Jeon."
Jungkook smiles shyly, rubbing his hands together. "No problem, Y/N."
I smile. "So.. where's the key?"
Jungkook stops staring at me, eyes flying to the large table in the dining room. "It's there. While you were asleep, Bruno and I examined it. I lifted it up in my hand countless times, but it didn't have the effect that it had on you. Let me show you something."
He walks towards the table, ushering us to follow behind.
He sits on one chair on the left. Bruno climbs up on the right chair and I take a seat between them.
Jungkook points towards it. "I think it's best you didn't touch it now, after what happened to you. When I examined it closer, I noticed that there was a small button on the back." He pauses, turning the key over.
I lean closer, seeing the smallest button on it. "What happens if we press it?"
Jungkook shrugs. "Seeing as though you literally got possessed the second you touched it, I don't think pressing the button is such a good idea."

I scoff. "Come on, Jeon. Just press the damn thing. Let's see what happens."
Jungkook shakes his head, staring at me. "We don't know what that thing does. It could even be a bomb, for heaven's sake. We're not pressing the button."
I roll my eyes, folding my arms. I stare at him with an eyebrow raised.
He stares back. "I'm still not gonna press it."
My face falls and I set my arms down on the table, tapping my fingers on the glass in anticipation. "Please?" I ask, staring at him yet again.
Jungkook folds his arms, mimicking my previous stance. "No."
"Jungkook.. please?" I say, pressing my hands together.
He shakes his head.
"Oh for Christ's sake, I'll just do it myself." Says Bruno, before reaching forwards with his paw and setting it over the button.
"NO-" Jungkook shouts.
"YES" I shout.
And he presses the button.
