《Marvel One-Shots》Beach Baby Day

Tony buckled the 3-year old into the car and gave the little boy a kiss on the head making him giggle. Tony sat in the drivers seat and looked at the toddler, "Hey Peter, we're gonna meet your pops at the beach okay?" Peter giggled in response, getting Tony to release a chuckle. Tony started the car and set off for the beach.
"Dadadadaddadada.." Peter said happily as he chewed on his stuffed duck. "Yes Peter. I'm dadadadadada." Tony said while laughing. "We're almost there."
Tony pulled into the parking lot 10 minutes later, and got out to take Peter out of the car. He picked up the little boy and rested him on his hip. He then grabbed the towel, sunscreen, lunches, and buckets/shovels for Peter to play with. He walked down the sidewalk moving towards the beach, seeing his husband and fellow Avengers running along the shoreline. Tony saw Steve drawing the ocean, 'what a lovable nerd' he thought. Screams of laughter rang out as he saw Nat tackle Sam into the water, and smiled as Clint jumped on top of Nat. Thor watched the three with an amused face and then decided to put his pop-tarts near the water, getting very upset when the waves drowned the tasty treats in seawater, and then spat them out when he tried to eat it. Rhodes and Pepper were both reading, and Bruce was sleeping in the chair. Wanda and Vison sat on the towel together talking, sometimes giggling. Tony was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Peter babbling, "Splashy. Lots of water dada. Where is poppaaaaaaa", and Peter screeeeeched that last word.
All the avengers turned around and saw Tony walking down towards them with Peter resting on his hip. They all smiled and moved towards the sitting area to eat lunch. Wanda handed out sandwiches, and then gave Peter some snacks. "Who's my little baby cousin!" She grabbed the little boys chubby cheeks and kissed his nose, getting the boy to burst in laughter. "Tony? Are you going to let him in the water?" she asked.

Tony looked to Steve for help. He hadn't thought about it, but the others all seemed to want to see Peter's reaction to the ocean. "I don't see a problem with it." He replied.
Clint picked up Peter and ran down to the shoreline. "Faster Clwint!" He screamed as they ran down. The others followed, and smiled as Clint threw Peter up and down, causing him to erupt into a fit of giggles. Steve grabbed Peter out of Clint's arms and changed Peter into his little bathing suit. Pepper tied a little hat on his head, and smiled when the others all cooed at the toddlers appearance. Steve walked into the ocean and sat down. "Popppaaaa, eeeeahhhhhh" Peter said. He started splashing the water over and over into Steve's face. He played for about 10 minutes when he got bored and wanted to play in the sand.
Peter had built three sandcastles and was having fun smashing them and then rebuilding them over and over. "Hey Peter!" Wanda said as she sat down next to her little cousin. "I know you don't know what this means yet, but your going to be the best out of all of us." She laughed softly when she saw Peter look up at her with a toothy grin. She helped Peter with the next few castles, using her magic to create amazing sculptures.
"Wanda look out!!"
Wanda turned and saw a frisbee flying towards her and Peter at a fast speed. She quickly picked up the toddler and dived to the right. Peter started crying, so she freaked out thinking that she hurt Peter. "Wandaaaa. Buck Buck broke my castle." And Peter starting having a fit.
Bucky ran over to the pair and he squatted down to Peter's level, "Hey bud. I'm sorry." But Peter just buried his face into Wanda's hair.
"Steeeb! Your son hates me now."
Let's just say that Peter didn't talk to Bucky for a week.

Of Men and Dragons, Book 1
Book 1 is now available on Kindle, or in paperback/hardcover! You can buy it here! Jack crash-landed on a planet where the natives are seven-foot-tall carnivorous cat-lizards currently somewhere between stone and bronze age. The good news is the natives think the ship that crashed into their mountain is a dragon and are steering clear of it. The bad news is they just left one of their own as a sacrifice to appease the beast. No matter what Jack and his AI co-pilot decide, his life just got a lot more complicated... ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.
