Sunlight shone directly into Yun Xie's sleeping face. Everything looked ethereal inside the huge pink bedroom. The place holding peace and quietness was completely destroyed by an annoying robotic voice.

"Mistress! Mistress! Won't you wake up already?"

Yun Xie almost felt a crack between her brain ang her eardrums. Does the System plan to wake her up to death? Although annoyed, Yun Xie was reasonable enough to realize that she actually over slept.

"We have to conserve time, Mistress! I still have to introduce you to my things!"

Yun Xie silently nodded her head. She is a reasonable one but she is definitely not a morning person. "Quickly, let's get on it."

"But first, I still have to let you pick! Do you want me to assist you everytime you need something? For example, getting inside the dimension which I am going to teach you right now. Or you want a graphic user interface?"

The answer was simple. Yun Xie does not have the time and was lazy enough to always call the System. It is better to let it hibernate. "GUI." She answered while standing up. She walked towards the bathroom and started her morning routine.

Ah, from ten years, she did not feel this good! Taking showers, sleeping in a fluffy bed, and she's quite hungry right now.

"Please wait for 5 seconds."

Yun Xie did as the System said. She just continued her shower while waiting. Suddenly, icons from different sides of her sight popped out. They were translucent blue squares and the white line drawings inside them made the icons easier to tell its uses.

"Here, Mistress. This cart here is where the System Shop is. You can buy all the things you need or you want with Tier 1 Zombie Garnets."

Sensing Yun Xie's confused demeanor, the System explained.

"Zombie Garnets are a drop from zombies everytime Mistress kills them. This drop is only effective to Mistress as only Mistress has System*. The Zombie Garnets are separated in to three Tiers. Simply Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3. From Tier 1 to Tier 3, the Zombie Garnet will have its size from small to big."

(*System usually talks in Third Person's Point of View)

Yun Xie listened attentively to the System while still doing her morning routine. Changing her clothes, drying her hair, and such. The System continued its thorough explanation.

"The Tier 1 Zombie Garnet is what the System Shop uses as its currency and is the very common drop. Tier 2 is uncommon and its energy is very abundant, making it a useful material to craft for potions. However, Tier 3 is a rare garnet. You can only find one in tens and thousands of zombies. Tier 3 Zombie Garnet is used to exchange for the lower tiered garnets. For example, you can exchange a Tier 3 Zombie Garnet to 25 Tier 2 or 50 Tier 1 ZGs*."

After the System explained, Yun Xie was already going down the stairs. Butlers and maids scurried as they saw their Young Lady. Sitting in a long table with many delicacies and desserts in front, Yun Xie was drooling inside.

"Let me eat for a bit." Yun Xie said inside her mind, referring to the System. She did not hear any robotic voice after she stated her need.

Elegantly using the fork, the maids can't help but bulge their eyes out of their sockets because of their young lady's graceful demeanor while eating.

PING!

Yun Xie was surprised as she heard a 'ping' sound. After, a robotic voice was again heard. "System is sensing a 'Temper Acting Poison'* put in the ingredients of Mistress' food."

Temper Acting Poison?

"A Temper Acting Poison is not fatal to Mistress' health. But it does make Mistress rise her temper everytime Mistress gets mad or emotional." The System explained. Yun Xie's face was suddenly looking gloomy. Her defined features were dark as she seethed in irritation.

So this was why the past Yun Xie has a horrible temper! It was because of this Temper Acting Poison that was obviously put by the cooks!

Slamming the long wooden table, all maids and butlers turned their gazes to their young lady, their eyes filled with agitation and ridicule. Yun Xie squinted her eyes. No one here is her ally.

"Young Lady Yun Xie, is something the matter?" A maid in a pink maids' uniform bowed before she looked at Yun Xie. She(maid) was shocked to see the calmness in her(YX) eyes as Yun Xie was said to have a bad temper. The maid can't see a bad temper at all!

"Who cooked my food?" Yun Xie calmly stated. But all the people inside her mansion does not know about her boiling anger inside. They dare let her consume poison!

Confused, the maid responded. "Ah, it was Chef Zhang, Young Lady Yun." Without saying anything, after Yun Xie heard the name, she immediately left with the food in her hands. Looking at the awe-inspiring back of their Young Lady, the maid confusedly went back to her spot.

Inside the kitchen, hearty laughs were heard by Yun Xie. There, she saw two chefs flirting with each other. In a loud voice, she beamed, "Hello, Chef Zhang and Chef Ling!"

Shocked to her wits' end, Chef Zhang stilled with her face showing a horrified and awkward expression. Chef Ling, however, never really cared and looked at their Young Lady with disdain in his eyes.

"Wh-what's the matter, Young Lady Yun? Does the food I cooked not suit your tastes?" Chef Zhang with a smiling expression and a cold back awkwardly stated. The look in her eyes was worth watching for Yun Xie, as it was filled with embarassment.

Ha! An old woman like Chef Zhang still has the guts to flirt with a younger man? Truly cabbage*!

"No, your food was amazing! I just wanted to let you know, this Young Lady wants to practice cooking! Could you mentor me?" That's right. Yun Xie thought, during the apocalypse, she would only slay these people in front of her. So why not learn cooking? It's also best since if she knows how to cook, then she can make her own meal.

No more Temper Acting Poison to eat.
