(Y/n)'s POV
As I wash the dishes with Fry we begin to hear Thomas screaming. We exchange one quick glance before running out of the kitchen. When we get over there I see Ben pinning down Thomas screaming non-sense at him. Newt smacked Ben off of him and Newt and Gally pinned him down we all call for Ben to calm down frantic to understand what was happening.
"What the hell happened?" Frypan asked Thomas as Ben struggles "Nothing he just attacked me!" Thomas screamed as blood trickled down his wrist. Alby cuts through the crowd and looks at Ben, Ben starts to shake his head as Alby orders Gally to lift his shirt. "I didn't mean it," Ben said causing me to step back afraid. When Gally lifts up his shirt it's exactly as we'd expected an obvious sting mark on his stomach with black and purple veins going across his body.
Alby crouches down beside Gally to get a closer look "he's been stung," Gally states eyes flicking to me concern evident. "Take him to the pit," Alby orders and sends us all back to work, but the day was tainted with the air of sadness at what's to come. This means that Ben would be banished, and I felt silence drift over me.
I try to push the thoughts out of my head but all I can see are the black veins erupting in his stomach. We need to get out of here, I thought to myself "(Y/n)," I hear Gally's strong voice behind me as I continue to wash dishes. I turn to him feeling my heartache with the sad feeling that saturated the air. He simply wraps his arms around me "he'll be banished tonight. You don't need to be there," Gally whispers to me and I try hard not to let any tears fall.

I shake my head "yes I do," I tell him. Ben and I use to be friends it wasn't something brought up a lot but when I first got to the glade I had a bit of a romance with Minho. So that caused me to be friends with all of the runners early on, but once Minho and I broke up we all grew apart. We stayed in our hug for several minutes before pulling apart to return to work. "It'll be okay, there needs to be an explanation," I say searching my brain for a reason.
"Did you hear what he was saying to Thomas," Gally says to me causing me to raise an eyebrow "it doesn't really matter Gally. He was stung it was nonsense," I tried to reason not wanting Thomas to read too much into it. "He said this was Thomas's fault," Gally said and I grabbed Gally's shoulders forcing Gally to look at me. "This couldn't be Thomas's fault you know that right?" I ask Gally he just shrugs "this just doesn't make sense," he tells me.
"It's going to be okay," I tell Gally also trying to convince myself of the same thing.

Small Town Love
For Daphne Emerson, New York City was her home. The city that never slept, the high skyscrapers, the Metropolitan Museum of Art if she actually had enough money for once to visit it, the tiny refrigerator of an apartment that she shared with her mother. When her mother dies, things change. NYC is left behind and Daphne goes to live with her aunt and uncle in the tiny, coastal town of Fairbury, Maine. Wait, what?!*****Luke Schuyler always knew what was expected of him. He had been raised as the future Alpha of the Schuyler pack, he wrote straight A's in school and was the quarterback of the football team. He had grown up in the sleepy town of Fairbury and so when a new girl begins at school, that also happened to be the cousin of his best friend, he doesn't think much about it.
