"Why do you have to go to the office today" I asked him

"Babe you know there is a lot of work currently so I have to be there"

"But rest at least today you came back just last night"

He had just taken a shower and got out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and I can't help just looking at him intensely. Adrian smirked completely aware of his effect on me.

"I promise when the deal will be done I am going to take some days off and we will stay together all the time" he said

"Promise?"

"Yes I promise, but now leave this bed lazy worm so we can eat breakfast together"

"No I want to sleep I am still tired"

"Of course you are with the four rounds I gave you last night"

"Shut up" I said so embarrassed that I hide under the sheets.

He lashed out a throat laugh "Oh honey still shy you are so cute"

I got out of bed and threw a pillow at him.

"Hey what was that for?!" He yelled

"Cocky" I said running to the bathroom.

We prepared and reached to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Good morning Martha" We greeted

"Good morning my children"

"What do you prepare today that smell so good" I asked her

"We have waffles, sausage and omelette"

"Oh great I am so hungry"

"I see that" Adrian said looking at me while I jumped on the food.

After eating Adrian went to his office. I felt so tired so I thought to come back to my bed to sleep a little more. Before I asked Martha to prepare the lunch for Adrian and I. I intend to visit him at lunchtime so we can spend some time together.

"Martha could you please prepare the lunch for Adrian, me and an extra for his PA I will visit him at work?"

"Of course sweetie"

"Thank you Martha you are the best" I said kissing her cheek and made my way to my lovely bed.

I parked my car in front of the company and entered to the building. The guards greeted me and I made a sign to the receptionist who smiled to me. I know almost all the employees here.

Once in the elevator I pushed the button for the 40th and last floor where is Adrian's office.

I found Erin his PA at her desk with a large smile as usual. I like her she is a charming person and very competent according to Adrian.

"Hello Mrs Robertson it's always nice to see you"

"Hello Erin, here your lunch I hope you like meatballs?"

"Yes thank you Mrs Robertson" She smiled at me

"I said you to call me Elissa, drop the formalities Erin"

"Ok I will try; Mr Robertson is inside with Miss Tanya"

"Ok thank you Erin" I said rolling my eyes to Tanya presence.

I knocked before stepping in. I am his wife but I respect his workspace.

"Hi my love, what a surprise" Adrian said coming towards me

"Hey babe, I hope I don't disturb you" I asked

"No I needed a break" he said giving me a soft kiss and staying near me

"Good afternoon Tanya" I greeted her

"Hello Elissa how are you it's been a while"

"Fine and you?" asking just out of politeness

"Good thanks, I see you bring lunch for Adrian"

"Yes I have to feed him or he is not going to eat" I said making him to pull me to his chest and kissing my head.

"In this case I will go, bye Elissa see you later Adrian" Tanya said

'See you later Adrian' I mimicked her once she had her back turned. Adrian saw me and smiled.

"Elissa are you jealous by chance"

"Me" pointed my finger to my chest "No at all why I would be jealous of her she is just your best friend no? I asked

"Yeah so if you know that why do you behave like this"

"Like what exactly?"

"You are cold and you force yourself to talk to her it's obvious"

"I don't like the way she spoke to you or look at you and she is always in your office!" I responded with a irritated tone.

"Well we work together so it's totally normal and how she looks at me?" he asked clearly appreciating the discussion

"Like a predator"

He laughed and hugged my waist from behind. "Oh babe I love you and I love you moooooore when you are jealous"

"It's not funny" I turned to face him and kicking him lightly on the shoulder.

He is right I don't like her at all; I know she is his best friend from childhood and their family are very close too but I think she expect more than friendship from him. I saw her looks and behaviour ant that made me suspicious towards her.

"Let's eat it will be cold" I said

"Yeah I am starving and I missed home-cooked meals"

"I know honey"

We chatted and laughed during the lunch and I was glad nobody disturb us, I should thank Erin for that. I have to go and let Adrian works so he can came back home early this evening I thought.I was about to get up off the couch when he grabbed my wrist make me falling on his lap.

"Where do you think you are going Mrs Robertson" he said humming my neck and letting kisses

"I thought you want to return to work" I moaned

"Huumm but before I need a little thing love"

With that we ended making out in the couch. We were almost lost when he backed off and rested his head on my shoulder.

"We have to stop here babe or I will not be able to restrain myself"

"Yeah I guess we are going to wait to this night" I teased

I arranged my clothes and left his office. Once at home I took a fresh shower and looking forward to his return.
