Talk it out?

Do alpha's even talk their feelings out?

I have never talked my feelings out.

What if I do it wrong?

Is it possible to do it wrong?

I don't know how to do it right!

Can I do it right?

What if he doesn't want to talk to me, specifically.

He's mad enough already, what if I make it worse?

"Are you just going to sit there and talk to yourself or are you going to calm the other wolf down?" Casey spoke.

"Shut up!" I growled.

"Get your ass upstairs." He commanded.

"I will go up when I feel like it." There was a moment of silence. "Ok, bye."

I walked up the stairs as I grew nervous.

I was never afraid of Jonathan.

No matter how much he yells.

But I was nervous that he wouldn't talk to me.

Well, here goes nothing.

I raised my paw to scratch the door but I stopped.

I heard I noise coming from his room.

I lifted up my ears and placed it against the door.

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped a little.

I heard small sniffs and shaky breaths

Was he crying?

I removed my ear from the door.

I raised my paw and scratched the door.

"Who's there?" I heard him say from the other side of the door.

"The family dog." I said cheerfully.

I don't like being called a dog but right now it seems like its an emergency.

Hopefully, Rosie's spell still works even if she's not here.

The door opened and my tail started wagging.

"What do you want Quincy?" He wiped his nose

His eyes and nose were red.

"I was wondering if you wanted to talk if you don't mind."

"Sorry, Quincy but I don't feel like talking right now."

"Ok." I was about to walk away until he stopped me.

"Wait."

I stopped walking and turned around.

"What?" I tilted my head.

"What are you up to?" He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the door frame.

"Nothing."

"Then why are you walking away?"

"Because you said you didn't want to talk." I sat down.

"Did Rosie send you?"

"Yeah." I said bluntly.

"Well at least you're honest." He mumbled then sighed. "Come in."

I got up and followed him into the room.

He sat on his bed as I laid down on the floor in front of him.

"Why did she send you?"

"Why were you crying?"

"I was not crying!" He defensively.

I rolled my eyes.

I hopped on the bed and sat next to him.

"Jonathan, I am your therapist. I am here so you can work your problems out, so you have to be honest. Trust your therapist."

He sighed. "I want to go home."

"Then whats stopping you from going. The door is wide open."

He brought his knees up to his chest. "The this is I don't want to leave without Rosie."

"Have you tried asking her?"

"Of course I have, but she doesn't want to come back with me."

"Are you serious!? Ever since we left she would always talk in her sleep about going back."

"Then why didn't she?"

"It's her grandma."

"What about her?"

I sighed. "There is something wrong with her."

"What do you mean?"

"She's sick. She's tried healing herself but it's not working."

"What?" His eyebrows furrowed.

"I hate to say it but I think she's dying."

"She can't be."

"Not trying to be mean but she has been around for literally centuries."

"Still if she survived this long she can survive a little longer."

"I don't think she can." My ears fell.

"That's why Rosie left." He said to himself. "She was looking out for her grandma."

"Rosie is worried about her a lot. And after she's gone her animals don't have anywhere to go."

"Can't she put them up for adoption?"

"These aren't normal animals, these are witch animals. They are connected to their owner as soon as she is gone her animals might not survive."

He buried his face in his hands. "Where is Rosie?"

"She went to look for her grandma."

He got up from the bed and opened the window.

"What are you doing!?" I asked.

"Tell Rosie I left, but don't tell her I'm coming back."

"What are you planning?"

"You'll see." He jumped out the window.

Great.

Now what?

Rosie's POV

I opened the door to the shop as the little bell rang.

"Good day traveler." A man in a black robe approached me with a deep and creepy voice.

"Hey, Utah, have you seen my grandma?"

"Who is this Utah you speak of? I am the great and powerful owner of this shop." He said.

"First of all, your mom owns this shop, second of all, great and powerful? You barely learned how to grow lettuce last week." I raised an eyebrow.

"Hey!" He said in his normal voice and put down his hood. "Lettuce is hard."

I rolled my eyes.

Utah was the male version of a witch.

He is three years longer and he's barely going into training.

He's pretty much been my only company besides my grandma.

His mom owns a shop where my grandma shops for ingredients she can't find in the woods.

Some humans do know about the shop but they think everything is fake

"I know you're just starting out but come on I got lettuce on the first day."

"Thanks for the confidence boost, little miss hybrid."

I rolled my eyes again. "Have you seen my grandma?"

"Yeah she left a while ago."

I sighed. "Thanks anyway. But by any chance does your mom have any more chocolates."

"Lucky for you," He reached behind the counter and pulled out a jar filled with chocolate. "I hid the last jar."

"I forgot, I didn't bring money."

"It's fine, It's on me."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah." He smiled.

I took the jar from him. "Thank you."

I turned around to leave until he stopped me.

"Rosie?"

"Yeah?"

"Your grandma mentioned someone. Someone named Jonathan."

I froze and didn't say anything.

"Are you going to go back with him?" He asked.

"I don't know. All I know is that I can't leave my grandma until she gets better."

"Let me know what you decide. Please."

"Of course I will."

I smiled before opening the door and leaving the shop

Utah is the only other witch in this town.

So when I came he didn't feel as alone.

I guess now he's afraid of me leaving.

I took a piece of chocolate from the jar and ate it.

Grandma must be at the house by now.

Damn, this chocolate is good.

You got to love chocolate that was made by witches.

It's homemade, good, and it has a spell so it has no calories.

It's heaven in a jar.
