I couldn’t believe that my boss was dead. He was a good boss and a caring man. This meant that I had to find a new job. My hybrids got nicer to me after changing to a job that I could work from home. They even helped me sometimes. They liked having me home where I could take care of them and...honestly... I liked it too. I got to be with my little babies everyday. Even though some of them tried to hide that they liked me taking care of them and making them into little children, I knew they liked having someone caring for them like this.
Some people said that my hybrids were mean, scary and even dangerous, but I didn’t believe that. They were the cuddliest people in the world. Sure, they could nag each other, but they took care of everyone and made everyone feel loved and special. I’d spend the rest of my life with my hybrids and people couldn’t do anything about it.
I loved my hybrids.

The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

Dante doesnt know where he came from and is ostracized as a demon because of his appearance. However he has hope, a gift from the Goddess could be his key to freedom. Every year any boy or girl who reaches the age of 14 can receive the blessing of the Goddess and the Status. The Status allows them to freely manipulate the world essence around them and be strengthened through it (yeah, its a status screen). Pretty much the rest of the synopsis is the prologue, please read it and tell me what you think. I tagged some of the elements i plan to implement in the story, so check there.
