《Trust Me (Daryl Dixon x OC)》{2}

I walked over to Rick and pulled him into a tight hug. I thought I had lost my childhood friend. He was more like a brother to me though. Something wet hit my neck, that's when I realized he had started to cry into my shoulder. He pulled me closer. It broke my heart to see my brother this broken. "Hey, Rick it's okay. Look I'm okay." He sighed and pulled away a bit.
"I thought I had lost everyone that I loved." I laughed and punched his arm.
"Are you kidding me! Since this whole thing started I thought you were all dead. I came back to surprise you all and no one was here. Your house was trashed and Shane was nowhere to be found." He smiled and hugged me one last time.
"I missed you Raven." I sighed
"I missed you to Rick." I turned around then realized that this dumbass almost got himself killed.
"Hey rick."
"Yeah."
"If you ever pull that shit again I'll kill you." Rick nodded at me and we both turned our attention to the group.
Dixon was still shooting walkers on the street.
"Hey, Dixon cut that shit out. We already got enough problems cause of officer friendly here." He jumped off the ledge he was standing on and walked over.
"Hey you should be more polite to a guy with a gun. Only common sense." T-dog jumped down to Merle's level yelling at him.
"Man, you wasting bullets we ain't even got!" Merle just laughed at him.
"You're bringing even more of them walkers down on our ass! Just chill man!" T-dog said trying to get Merle to quit shooting when it wasn't necessary.
"Bad enough I got this taco-bender on my ass all day. Now I'm gonna take orders from you?" I assumed the 'taco-bender' was named Morales. Merle kept bitching.
"I don't think so boy. That'll be the day." He paused.
'Oh shit' I said in my head as I leaned over to Rick and whispered "This is about to be a race war." Rick nodded in agreement and I crossed my arms over my chest just under my boobs. They were kinda big so having my arms across them was uncomfortable. I watched as the rest of the group just stood around and didn't really do anything.
"'That'll be the day?' You got somethin' you wanna tell me?" Morales spoke up.

"Hey! T-dog man, just leave it."
"No." T-dog said, waving off Morales but he continued.
"All right? It ain't worth it." He looked over at Merle.
" Now Merle just relax, okay? We got enough trouble." I saw Rick lean over to Glenn. Glenn just waved off Rick. Till Dixon opened his largemouth up again.
"You want to know the day?" He said to T-dog.
"Yeah."
"I'll tell you the day, Mr. ''Yo". It's the day I take orders from a Nigger." I froze and the rest of the group erupted into 'whoa' and 'heys'. T-dog launched a fist at Merle while yelling mother fucker. Merle clocked T-dog with the butt of his rifle. That's when the group decided to do something. Glenn was the first one to speak up.
"Hey, come on, Merle." I yelled over Glenn.
"That's enough Dixon!" Rick was quicker than anyone else to get to him. But Merle sent a right hook to Rick's face. T-dog had gotten back up and went after Merle, but Merle kicked him in the stomach sending T-dog flying backwards. I could hear the girl of the group yelling for them all to stop. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
"Dixon!" The girl named Andrea yelled while Merle was still going after T-dog. He sent his face first into a metal pipe. I saw blood and figured that was enough from him. Everyone was yelling at Merle to stop but he kept landing punches on T-dog. I helped Rick up and he grabbed his cuffs out of his holster. I looked up and Merle had a gun pointed at T-dog.
"No No No, please. Please." Andrea said basically begging for T-dogs life. Merle spat on T-dog and then got up.
"Okay. We're gonna have ourselves a little powwow, huh?" He got off T-dog but still pointed his gun at him.
"Talk about. Who's in charge." The rest of the group pulled T-dog away from Merle. I was still standing with Rick making sure he was okay.
"I vote for me. Anybody else? Democracy time, y'all. Show of hand. All in favor?" He called out to all of us.
'Ugh yeah anyone but you, you redneck piece of shit.' I said to myself.
He paused and waited for everyone to move. But no one put their hand up.
"Come on. Let's see 'em." He said, still pointing his gun at the group with one hand raised in the air. Morales started to raise his hand.

"Oh come on." Andrea said to him in almost disbelief.
"All in favor?" Merle asked again. Everyone slowly raised their hands and one girl flipped him off. I knew they were only doing it to keep themselves alive so the crazy redneck didn't shoot them.
"Yeah. That's good. Now that means I'm the boss, right? Yeah, anybody else?" He said almost wanted someone to fight him some more.
"Yeah." I looked over to my right where Rick was standing to see him now right in front of Dixon holding the rifle.
Rick hit Merle in the nose with the butt of the gun, sending Dixon to the ground. Rick stood on his chest to keep him down then handcuffed him to the pipe.
"Who the hell are you, man?!" Merle yelled in his face.
"Officer Friendly." Rick said. I laughed at the nickname he just gave himself. Rick grabbed Dixon's hand gun.
"Look here, Merle. Things are different now. There are no niggers anymore. No dumb-as-shit, inbred white-trash fools either. Only dark meat and white meat. There's us and the dead. We survive this by pulling together. Not apart." Merle looked like he was only paying attention to half of what Rick was saying.
Rick had always been a natural born leader so it didn't surprise me when he knew exactly what to say in this situation. He was right, there was only us and the dead.
"Screw you, man." Merle said to Rick, I just shook my head.
"I can see you make a habit of missing the point." Rick told him getting a little bit closer to Dixon so he could hear him.
"Yeah? Well, screw you twice." Rick cocked the hand gun and pressed it to his head.
"Ought to be polite to a man with a gun." I said standing behind Rick. I was partly teasing and being a sarcastic ass to Merle.
"Only common sense" Rick finished my quote. I smirked and placed my hand on my hip popping it out.
"You wouldn't. You're a cop." Merle said to Rick. Rick moved the gun and looked him dead in the eyes.
"All I am anymore. Is a man looking for his wife and son." These words broke my heart. Lori and Carl. I hadn't really thought about them. At least I tried my best not to. Shane. Thinking about my lost family made my heart hurt. But I had Rick back and I knew that we would be able to find them. We had to.
"Anybody that gets in the way of that's gonna lose. I'll give you a moment to think about that." They stayed silent as Rick checked Merle for more weapons. Rick pulled out a little vile with white pounder in it. Cocaine.
"Got some on your nose there." Rick said holding the bottle and looking closer at Merle flicking him in the nose.
"What are you gonna do? Arrest me?" Merle laughed as Rick walked to the edge of the rooftop.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Rick threw it off the roof.
"Man, that was my stuff! Hey!" Merle pulled at the cuffs and Rick walked back over to me. The group looked at him in awe at what they had just witnessed. Merle kept yelling at Rick but no one cared what he was bitching about. I watched Morales walk towards Rick.
"You hear me you pig!"
"Yeah your voice carries." Rick said leaning on the wall surrounding the roof. I sat down and took a drink of water then walked over to T-dog who was now sitting up against the wall. I handed him my water.
"Here, drink. You look like you need it." He reached out and took it.
"Thanks. Names T-dog." I smiled
"Raven." He took a drink and introduced me to the rest of the group. I walked back over to sit right in front of Merle to keep an eye on him.
"You gon' offer me a drink, sweet cheeks?" I laughed and took another swig letting some water fall down my jaw.
"Nope I think you'll live." I saw pulling out my knife and playing with it. I could kinda hear Rick and Morales talking but I could make out exactly what they were saying. We heard thunder rolling in. I knew it was going to rain. My plan was to be back at my truck by the time it started but that plan failed. I got up and walked over to Rick.
"What's up guys." I said Rick turned to me and I stood next to him looking down at the walkers on the street.
"Sorry names Raven." I said holding my hand out to Morales.
"Morales. Nice to meet you. And Welcome to the big city."
