hyunjin scoffed at what haneul had been telling him ever since he came back

"look, haneul, i don't believe it! if he was the texter, he was the killer!"

"but he was so confused! he didn't do it!"

"well, if he didn't do it, who else could have done it?!"

"i don't know but-"

hyunjin sighed in annoyance to cut off haneul

"im turning him in to mr.kwak, han. just please, trust me" he said while his eyes softened

"i wouldn't do that if i were you"

the twins turned their heads only to see the rest of their friends listening intently to their argument

"hyung! why do you always have the worst timings!" jeongin whined and hit changbin on his head, the older just groaned in pain and pouted

"why wouldn't you trust me?" hyunjin crossed his arms

"idiot, i was talking aboyt turning jaehoon in" changbin snorted

"why?"

changbin shook his head, "smartass, because he's not the murderer"

"dumbass, how are you so sure?!"

at that, changbin pursed his lips in a thin line and widened his eyes

"ugh, I'm turning him in" hyunjin stomped away to the front door only to be stopped by a force acting on his arm

"hyunjin, trust me. if he was the culprit, he wouldn't even tell us he texted us, right?"

haneul pleaded

"you never know what goes on in sinister minds, haneul"

"hyunjin! can you at least put some thought into this?!"

hyunjin grit his teeth as he harshly pulled away from her grasp

"haneul, i know you and jaehoon go way back, i know that he was your first ever friend, but that dude is crazy, he's obsessed. who knows, he might kill all of us to get to you?! have you really forgotten how far he went with bullying shuhua?! or do you want minho hyung dead?!"

haneul felt her heart drop. her twin never acted this way. she could do nothing but stare at his back as he left the place. she wanted to run after him, fight a little more in hopes pf changing his mind, but her feet stayed glued to the ground

"give him some time, he'll be alright, han"

and just like that, she felt a strange feeling of relief wash over her as minho wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I'll go after him, I'll try to talk him out of it, don't worry too much, haneul" seungmin gave her a slight smile as her pat her head and dashed outside as well

"yeah! we'll beat him in mario kart!" soobin cheered

"we'll put a mirror ban on him!" felix followed

"we'll humiliate him!" yeonjun threw a fist in the air

"even better, let's lock him up in his room for a week!" jisung suggested

"nah, let's dye his hair green" said shuhua

"i don't think weneed any of those," chan spoke up before changbin could even present his idea, "we'll put a seungmin ban on him!"
