《Lost Fantasy-Life After Reincarnation (Arc 1)》Chapter 29

The air was tense in front of Sister Lori's, as if a standoff between two duelists. Loganel eyed the group with a hint of animosity in his eyes, viewing them as a threat to his safe haven in Iry. The other pedestrians on the street swerved and avoided them. They didn't stop to rubberneck, since they know exactly what was happening. This wasn't an unusual site in the red light district. Ever so often, there would be that one guy whose wife would come and find them hanging out around here. So, this was the norm for the residents of the red light district.
"Loganel," Iry whispered. "These are?"
"How dare you call his name with your dirty mouth," Juliana spouted out impulsively.
"Stop, Juliana," Loganel sighed.
"Loganel," Juliana continued, "you're one of the honorable Ainzloft family. You should not be wandering about in the red light district in the first place. In addition, someone dirty like her has no spot next to you."
"Stop," Loganel said once again. His voice was as determined as before but it was easily masked by Juliana's ranting. Loganel then had no choice but to endure her ranting and the spiteful gaze he received from the others, which led to him avoid making eye contact and stare at the ground.
"What did you do to seduce Loganel, you whore?" Juliana stepped towards Iry.
Intimidated by the sudden advance, Iry hid behind Loganel.
"Who do you think you are?" Juliana continued as she brought her hand up so as to reach for the girl behind Loganel. "How dare you even touch Loganel."
"I said STOP!" Loganel shouted as he grabbed Juliana's out-reaching wrist tightly and stared at her with disdain in his eyes. "Have I been to easy on you this whole time?"
"What?" Juliana took a small step back, obviously startled by Loganel's sudden change in attitude. She's never seen Loganel be this angry before, and was completely oblivious.
"Listen here," Loganel said in an angry voice, a voice that scorched its mark in Juliana's heart. "You're just a maid, a mere servant. You are below her you know that?!" Loganel paused to let what he had said sink in, and continued after taking breathing heavily. "You have no right as to deciding where I go and who I associate with! Absolutely no right! You're just a servant so do your job!"
Upon hearing Loganel's words, tears began sprouting from Juliana's eyes as she covered her face with both hands and wept. She couldn't believe what Loganel had just said to her, and her teary eyes looked at Loganel with utter shock. However, in those eyes of hers, there were never a hint of disdain and hatred. Unable to handle the situation, she ran off with her tears trailing in the air behind her as it was flung off with her sudden movement.

"Juliana," Sherriel called out as she ran after her, leaving behind Azura and Tetsuya to confront Loganel.
"What're you staring at?" Loganel asked in a provoking way as he felt Tetsuya's judgmental stares on him. He usually regarded Tetsuya as somewhat of a nice guy, but that day, for some reason, he felt as if Tetsuya's stare was enveloped with a mocking look.
"..." Tetsuya didn't say anything. However, he kept his eyes on Loganel, maintaining eye contact as he confronted him.
"So this is what you want," Loganel whispered to himself and nodded, anger still overflowing in his mind. "You have everything already," Loganel suddenly said to him. "You're the hero that's supposed to save all of humanity," Loganel said in a mocking tone, "a hero that's loved by all, and is surrounded by admirers. You have all the wealth that you need, all you have to do is ask, and you have all the girls that you want. What else do you want? Why are you so insisted on taking from me?!" Loganel shouted angrily at him. "You already have everything, and now you want to take away my only haven...Have you no shame in yourself?! Don't you feel asha--"
Loganel was interrupted by a pain on the right side of his face. He brought a hand up to the part of his face that was just subjected to the slap delivered by Azura, and he stared at the girl who had slapped him with disbelief in his eyes. However, the look that he saw in that girl's eyes resembled nothing of his wavering. Instead, it was calm and cold, as if a formidable ice wall has been erected between him and her.
"I've thought too highly of you," she said quietly, her voice cold and piercing. "Let's go, Tetsuya."
With her elegant movements, she walked away with Tetsuya following after her, leaving Loganel and Iry behind. Iry, worried about Loganel, brought herself to stand in front of the boy who was still in shock, and brought her gentle hands to his face. Loganel looked over at her face, and was surprised as to the tears that were present in her eyes as she stared at him worriedly.
"Let's go inside for now," Iry said, forcing a smile as she tried to comfort Loganel.
Inside, in their usual room, Loganel and Iry sat side by side on the bed. Loganel didn't say anything as the world around him seemed ever so gloomy. Even the light of Iry wasn't enough to entirely to cheer him up.
The whole time, Iry focused her gaze on Loganel, studying him and seeking ways to comfort him. He was someone that she had came to value over the few days of interactions that they had together, someone she could call a close friend, or something more than that.

"Ugh," she began to speak, but was stopped by Loganel, who rested his head on her laps, causing her a sudden surprise.
"Can we just be like this for a bit, please?" Loganel asked quietly.
Iry immediately recovered from her shock and smiled. "Of course," she answered as she gently brought her hands to Loganel's head and caressed it. Her gentle fingers ran through Loganel's black hair, and her kind gaze focused on his face.
He is younger than me, Iry thought and smiled.
This was what I needed all along, Loganel told himself, someone who actually cares about me. Iry...she smells so nice. Does she use perfume? No, it doesn't smell like it. So...this is her natural body aroma?
Loganel turned his body so that his face was facing Iry's thighs.
"Loganel?" Iry began, her voice a bit unsure as to what was occurring.
Loganel breathed in deeply, the air that he breathed out tickled Iry which drew out a soft whimper from her.
So intoxicating...Time can truly stop right now...I don't want anything else in this world other than her. She's who I want...
Loganel Slowly got up and sat up right. Then, he looked at Iry, his eyes filled with his yearnings for her.
"Loganel?" Iry answered his gaze with confusion.
Suddenly, he allowed himself to fall onto her, causing Iry to lay down on the bed pinned underneath his body. His breathing became and heavier and heavier as he stared at the girl beneath him with desire in his eyes.
Iry's face then became red as she realized what Loganel was about to continue onto. Her brain went blank for a brief second, but she immediately regained her senses. A gentle smile appeared on her face as she brought her arms up and around the boy.
"It's fine," she whispered in his ear.
The softness of her voice and the air that it brought with tickled Loganel's ear. And it was then, that he couldn't contain himself anymore. He brought his lips onto Iry's, kissing her, and allowing their tongue to intertwine as they shared their comforting presence with the other.
Suddenly, Iry backed herself up a bit, propping herself up with the help of her elbows. Loganel looked at her, confused as to what she was doing. However, what Iry did next helped him clear his suspicions.
She brought her fingers to the ribbon that kept her clothing together, and slowly began to untie it. Finally, as the ribbon slipped loose, the fabric on her clothing no longer concealed her body tightly. Next, she fully removed it to expose her naked breasts to Loganel.
She reached one hand out to grab hold of Loganel's hand, and slowly brought it to her chest, pressing his hand onto her breast. And just then, tears emerged from Loganel's eyes. He then brought his head to her chest as he wept, and Iry held him close to her as she felt his tears wetting her breasts. However, she didn't mind. Rather, she allowed him to weep and use her as comfort.
This is what he needs, she thought as she looked up at the sky and embracing Loganel close to her.

Iry covered Loganel with the comforter on the bed and sat there, wiping her chest with a towel. She wiped away Loganel's tears and then proceeded to dress herself. As she finished, she still sat and gazed at Loganel with a loving look on her face. Nothing happened between the two of them, but she felt as if their relationship won't be as simple as it was before. She doesn't know what it all meant, but she was glad that it happened the way it did. She could feel a warmth deep inside her heart, a warmth that warmed her body and filled her with happiness.
"Maybe I should get some sleep too," she said, crawling underneath the comforter and laying down beside Loganel. She looked at his face as he slept. "He's kind of cute," she smiled.
Then, she closed her eyes and rested her head on the pillow beside Loganel.
Outside of the room, Lori stood there smiling. She hung a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and walked away.
"I won't charge you for this one boy," she muttered as she walked over to the counter where she usually sat and did her business. "But if you were to make her cry, I and all the other girls at Sister Lori's will make sure you don't get away with it."
Author's Note:
This is just a short respite for now. You know, can't let Loganel always suffer. Gotta let him get a good rest here and there.
