All elders have lost what is most important to them, all of which is given back by the light before it is passed on and upwards.

Isle - broken mask, elder has lost the vision needed to guide ships

Prairie - asleep, elder has lost the energy to be strong and move heavy jars

Forest - unable to fix darkstone, elder has lost the ability to create

Valley - no flame, elders have lost the spark of competition

Wasteland - collapses in pain, elder has lost the strength to fight

Vault - sits in darkness, elder has lost the power to access the knowledge

Eden - cannot be saved, elder has lost the light entirely

Each portal in the homespace has the face of the elder located in that realm engraved on it. This includes the portal to Eden, however instead of one face, the mountainside has the faces of five individuals etched into the rock. Through comparing the faces on the realm portals to the Eden portal, one can decipher that these faces are the same as those on the previous portals. The order, left to right (there is an upward curved line) is prairie, forest, vault, wasteland, and lastly valley.

However, the only elder spirit not depicted on this carving is the Isle elder.

- A possible hypothesis could be that the Isle Elder passed before the creation of Eden

- Also, the Isle Elder may have some connection with Eden, and the unknown elder there.
