Sebastian's PoV

"You sure he wants to join?," I asked Lili. She nodded her head firmly. She got a call yesterday after I had dropped her back off at home.

It was Jordan.

Turns out he was getting released from the hospital and he decided to join the mafia. I guess he doesn't want to die because that's the only way this could've possibly ended.

"He is sat right here," Jordan said pointing to himself. I narrowed my eyes at him. Honestly, his decision seems a little rushed.

Normally, people wouldn't just join the mafia like this because of the obvious reasons. The only reason why he is, is because he's known about it for almost two weeks and he's not said a word so I guess he's proven his loyalty or skill to keep quiet, I think I should say instead.

The day he gets kidnapped and tortured for information is the day his loyalty to us will be revealed. I have to say that I cannot wait for that.

"Is he prepared to join?," I asked, mocking him. He rolled his eyes. "Have you been told that you will have to learn how to fight and protect yourself? Have you been told that you will have to get a tattoo?"

"Tattoo?"

Seriously, that's the only thing that guy heard?

I nodded my head. "You have to get it or you can't join. It's part of the initiation. Plus, if you ever get into trouble with people from other mafias, you just show them the tattoo and they just back off. It's sort of like the mafia logo."

"Each mafia gets a different tattoo," Lili spoke. I watched as her mouth and hands moved as she spoke animatedly to Jordan.

Just imagine if I had to tell her what I said I had forgotten to that day we found out the pregnancy is fake. If I told her, she wouldn't talk to me. She'd call it abuse and I'm not dumb enough to not realise that it isn't, but Isabella deserves it especially after everything she's put us through.

Obviously, I can't tell her exactly why Isabella is still alive. She's still alive because I'm emotionally abusing her, Lili would say, but I'll call it, fucking with her mind. That's sounds much better.

"Sebastian!," Lili said. I snapped back to reality. "You need to take him to get the tattoo."

"Do you have one?," Jordan asked her. She nodded her head.

"I don't have the one for this mafia but I have one for the one I was born in," she explained.

"Get up," I said sounding bored. Liliana shot me a glare from where she was stood. I cleared my throat and stood up straighter. "Lets go and get you tattooed," I corrected myself. She gave me a bright smile.

I stood looking bored as I glanced around at all the designs on the walls. My eyes couldn't help but to keep wandering over to the window, directly on my car.

Liliana was sat in there. She claimed she didn't want to come in because she'd get bored but I know it's because she'd end up seeing a tattoo design she likes and she'd end up getting it. She just can't help herself.

Jordan let out a wince and a hiss. My eyes snapped over to him as the tattoo artist lowered the needle onto his skin again. "Quit being a whiny bitch," I snapped. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"I don't have a high fucking pain tolerance," he hissed out. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, you're gonna have to get one."

"I see the way you look at her," he spoke up, ignoring what I had said. "You're married. So why are you fucking with her head?"

A cold, hard glare made it's way onto my face, aimed directly at him.

"Mind your own fucking business, you prick," I spat out. I really don't like him.

Maybe when he does his knife training, I could demonstrate with him being the target.

She'll kill me, but it'll be worth it.

"So, how long have you two known each other?," he asked, thankfully not asking another fucking stupid question.

Why would I be fucking with her head? That's a dumb fucking question.

"Years," I said curtly. "Much longer than you've known her."

"You two were married?," he asked. I narrowed my eyes at him. He quickly rushed out, "I'm only asking because the first time we all met, you two mentioned something about it while you were arguing."

That argument was not pleasant. I was confused and shocked, I mean who the fuck wouldn't be?

"We were," I confirmed for him, trying to keep my answers short.

"Did you love her?," he asked gingerly, knowing he was already treading on thin ice with me. I get why he's asking that question. He's probably wondering what was so fucked up with our relationship that she had to fake her death and leave.

But he doesn't even know most of the story.

I nodded my head. "I can tell you still love her," he stated.

Well obviously dumbass, I never stopped loving her.

"Don't hurt her," he spoke. "She acts tough on the outside but on the inside, she's the complete opposite."

"Trust me, I know," I spoke with an edge in my tone, thinking about her 'Red' persona. Red is a fighter. She doesn't give a shit about her wounds and those she hurts. Yet, inside she does. She cares and she worries.

In our type of life, you can't worry about those you hurt because that'll only get you weak and killed.

"It's done," the artist said as he put his equipment down, ending our mostly one-sided conversation.

I sat in my office, waiting for my attorney to arrive. Isabella was knocked out upstairs so I wasn't worried about her interrupting.

I had dropped Jordan and Lili off at Vins home. Jordan actually got the fucking tattoo. Honestly, I thought he would back out as soon as he would have to sit in the chair but he didn't.

Jordan was talking about Lili like he's known her his whole life. I get that they're best friends but he didn't even know about the real her until two weeks ago. He didn't even know her real fucking name.

Fuck, it's actually been two weeks. I have to say that some much shit has happened and that the two weeks have gone by really slow.

My office door opened and my attorney entered. "Mr Di Salvo," he spoke as sat down in the chair in front of me. "Lets' get to business, shall we?"

He laid out a bunch of papers in front of me and explained what each of them was for.

Almost an hour after he finished explaining what the papers meant in great detail, he set a pen down in front of me on top of the folder of papers.

"Now, all you need to do is get Isabella's signature and Liliana's, then you're all set," he spoke with a smile.

"That'll be no problem," I promised him as he stood up, getting ready to leave.

It'll all be over soon enough.
