Liliana's PoV
He left me at the clearing. Not willingly. He did offer to take me back but I refused. After what he said, I can't be even be near him. At least not yet. I'll bounce back, after a couple of days of crying to sad songs and movies. Plus, I didn't want to stay in that car with him for an hour.
I'd rather jump off a cliff.
So here I am now sat in passenger seat of Vins car. I didn't even call him to come and get me since my phone died but I'm guessing Sebastian did. I glanced at the time on the dashboard. 6:00am.
I leaned my head against the window as Vin looked at me concerned. He leaned over into the back and grabbed a random blanket before putting it on over me. "I'm sorry," he mumbled. "I shouldn't have pressured you into going to the wedding."
"You didn't," I said quietly. "I made my own choice and now I have to deal with the repercussions."
"I'm gonna pretend I know what that big word means," he said. "Anyway, I hope both of the fucking dickheads drown and choke on air again and again."
"Same," I said as my eyes suddenly felt drowsy.
Something about the way Sebastian was acting at the clearing felt off. It was like he was trying to hide something. I don't know what but he's hiding something from me and he definitely doesn't want me know what it is.
"Go to sleep," Vin said softly. "I'll make sure you won't drown or choke on air."
I didn't even bother replying as my eyes closed on their own accord.
~
"I love you," he told me honestly as he looked into my eyes. The butterflies in my belly felt like nothing compared to the party that the zoo animals were having in there. "And I always will."
"I love you," I said. I hate saying 'I love you too'. It makes me feel like saying 'I love you' is an obligation.
"Promise me it'll always be us," he demanded. I let out a small chuckle. "I'm being serious. If you think I'm joking, lets' do a pinky promise."
A huge smile grew on my face. "A pinky promise?" Sebastian nodded his head. "What happened to my crazy mafia husband who kills anyone that even looks at him weird?"

"He's hibernating until he really needs to come out," he answered smoothly. "But I'm not joking. Promise me it'll always be us."
"I promise. Now, you have to promise me if one of us forgets or falls out of love, we won't give up." He gave me a smile as he lightly stroked my cheek and pushed my wet hair out of my face. "I'm being serious. Promise me, you won't give up."
"I promise but that's practically the same thing I made you promise," he chuckled.
"Nope," I said, shutting it down. "It's not. They're completely different."
"Really," he mused. It was at that point when I knew he was up to something but I realised to late. He pushed me into the pool before jumping in after me. When I rose, I glared at him angrily as he swam towards me. "You look as beautiful as ever."
"Stop trying to sweeten me up."
"I'm not. I wouldn't even dare to," he mumbled as he pulled me towards him. Just like that, all the anger I had built up had dispersed into a little cloud, leaving behind only happiness and complete and utter love for him.
"I hate you."
"I hate you more," Sebastian replied. A small smile grew on my face.
He is my everything.
~
My eyes cracked open slightly as I felt like I was being moved. The feeling of peace and happiness was still drowning me, unable to let me go and I loved it. I saw Vins mouth open as he spoke to someone but I couldn't make out what the words he was saying were as he carried me into the house. Thank god he didn't wake me up.
I closed my eyes once again, wanting to relish in the feelings I felt.

Two days later
Sebastian's PoV
I fucked up. I fucked up. I fucking fucked up. It's been two days and I haven't heard a word from her or Vin, even Valentina. I don't expect Dom to reach out since it feels like he's taken a step back from our friendship. It's like I'm fucking isolated.
Fuck. I really shouldn't have said what I said to Liliana. The one time I decided to fucking use my head instead of my heart I might've actually fucked things up for good.
She doesn't understand why I had to say what I did. And I can't explain it to her. At least not yet.

"WHAT?," I yelled at Isabella as her hand movements froze and her words stopped erupting from her mouth. She stared at me with a raised eyebrow almost as if she's daring me to carry on.
She walked closer and slammed her hands down on the desk. "Don't you dare talk to me like that," she said through gritted teeth.
"Fuck you," I hissed out. "Get the fuck out of my office, I've had enough of hearing your annoying fucking voice and seeing your fucking face."
"You seem to be forgetting who the most powerful one is out of the both of us," she said with a smirk. I held my chuckle, at her stupidness, inside and instead looked at her emotionless.
She really should read documents before she signs them.
"Don't think I forgot that you didn't tell me all about your undying love for me at the alter," she said with a smile as she sat on the edge of the desk, crossing her legs.
When I didn't speak, she let out a sigh. "What happened to the guy who would hold doors open for me and buy me food late at night?"
That's the bare fucking minimum.
"Where's the guy that I fell in love with?," she asked.
"He opened his eyes and saw how much of a bitch you really are," I sneered. She let out a sigh.
"You know what?" I stayed silent. "I'm gonna go. I'll let you cool off and I'll be back later."
"Where are you going?"
"To the bank," she answered. "I was shopping earlier and my cards declined."
"Which one?"
"All of them."
"Really," I mused. She narrowed her eyes at me.
"What did you do?"
I shrugged my shoulders. "Just made some changes."
She let out a scoff. "You're acting like this because of her, right? If she was still dead, you wouldn't be acting like this."
Oh but I would be. Her return has just made me speed up everything.
"Regardless of her return, your money is mine. After all, sharing is caring."
It's all the money she gets from her businesses. I mean, I should actually say my businesses now so I guess her income will stop.
"What the fuck!," Isabella exclaimed as my office door was thrown open. I looked towards the door to see Liliana.
What is she doing here?
"What the fuck are you doing here? I want you to get the fuck out of my house and away from my husband!," Isabella yelled as she laid eyes on Liliana.
"I think you forgot that he was my husband first," Liliana spoke calmly.
"Oh fuck you!"
"Isabella," I said sharply, making her quieten down and look at me. "Get out."
She looked taken aback at what I had said. "Go," I spoke again.
She didn't move an inch.
Liliana seemingly getting bored of this, spoke, "Sebastian, you've made your choice and now I'm making mine." She turned to Isabella. "You can have him. He's all yours. I don't want that fucking prick anywhere near me."
My blood ran cold as I watched her turn and leave being escorted by one of the many workers we have here. "What does she mean? What did she mean by 'you've made your choice'?," Isabella asked.
"Get the fuck out!" She didn't move. "I want you to get the fuck out of my office before I do something you really won't like," I threatened her harshly as I clenched and unclenched my fists.
"Like what?," she scoffed out. "Throw a vase at me?" She let out a small chuckle. "Well, you've done that already."
That was when I came back from my talk with Liliana. I was pissed off with myself and she was fucking talking and hurting my head even fucking more. So I threw a vase at her. I shouldn't have done it, but it worked and she shut up and left me alone.
I took a deep breath as I glared at her. She noticed. Without a word, she left. I let out a yell as I flipped the desk over causing all the papers to go flying on the ground.
I paced back and forth.
She's given up on me. I've actually done it. I've actually pushed her away. I actually hurt her fucking feelings. But wasn't that my aim?
Now, this just makes me even more determined than ever to make Isabella's life a living hell. I'm gonna make sure she loses everything. I'm gonna make her feel trapped and isolated. I wanna make her lose herself.
By the time I'm done with her, she'll have nothing but me and only me.
