The tributes run towards the Cornucopia. Gale and Claudia get there first and Gale gets his hands on a sword while Claudia looks for things they need to survive with. Gale slits the boy with the orange hair in the throat. I guess he learned a thing or two while in combat with the Capitol. Claudia gets some knives and throws them in a back pack then they both head off towards the woods. The boy that was really strong stayed at the Cornucopia. Gale and Claudia are sprinting through the woods then eventually stop and climb into a tree. They start talking about something that no one can hear when the cannons start to go off. Thirteen are dead which means eleven are still alive. I was shocked how big the number was that are still alive. I was guessing that twenty would be dead at the blood bath. I’m watching the Games when a Peacekeeper comes up to me and tells me that Peeta wants to see me now. I decide to go but I’m going to tell him that it might be the last time we see each other. When I get into his room I see him through the glass in handcuffs watching the games. I take a deep breath and go into his room.
“I’ve been yelling your name for the past hour,” he says. I feel bad for doing this to him.
“I know,” I say.
“Why didn’t you come?” I start to stroke his hair and sigh.
“Peeta listen,” I say lowering my voice. “Remember what I told you not that long ago. He nods his head. “Well the reason why I didn’t come is because if I die today I wanted to make it as easy on you as possible. I love you and I just thought it was for the best.”

“You won’t die Katniss, you’re stronger than them. I know you can do this. Why else did you think I married you?” I laugh.
“Because you love me.”
“Exactly, now thank you for doing that for me. I really appreciate it but I know you won’t die. Compared to what you did to the Capitol not that long ago this is nothing. It’s like a walk in the park for you.” I give him a kiss.
“I love you.”
“Love you to.” I give him one last kiss then leave his room without turning around. I think he knows what I’m doing with all of this. If I die today, I know I will see Peeta again soon. But right now I can’t afford to think like that. I go to the Control Room one last time and see that everything is going alright. Gale and Claudia are still in the tree and I’m pretty sure they are going to be staying the night there. Perfect, all I have to remember is tree 285. Everything in the arena is labeled. I go back to the room where all of the surveillance footage is and no one has been in here. I lock the door and I will keep that door locked. No one will catch me. I’m about to strip the Peackeeper that is dead of his uniform when I see that all the plugs are plugged back in and the security footage is live. Someone has been in here but they never saw the Peacekeeper. I start to unplug the plugs again when I see a different Peacekeeper guarding a door. They must have shifts here. I plug back in all of the plugs and time how long until a new Peacekeeper guards a certain spot. It’s roughly about an hour until they switch. So I unplug all of the plugs again and take the Peacekeeper uniform. I put the bulletproof vest on top of my jacket then put on the rest of the uniform. I see that the Peacekeeper has a watch and I take it to keep track of the time of the shifts. I don’t want anyone to come in here and I don’t know how to get out without unlocking the door. I check to see if the Peacekeeper had any keys and he does. I’m about to leave when I realize that if he has a key then almost everyone does. So I just put the keys in my pocket and put a chair under the doorknob so no one is coming in here.

I think of how to get out when I see a vent on the ceiling. I stand up on the chair and pop off the top of it and throw it on the floor. I pull myself up into the vents and start crawling. I didn’t know that there were so many twists and turns in a venting system. I eventually find where I want to be, the hovercraft lift off and landing station. There is a Peacekeeper guarding the entrance. If I wait about fifteen more minutes there will be a new Peacekeeper. I watch as one of the Peacekeepers walks into the station about to get into the hovercraft that goes and picks up the dead bodies in the arena. All I have to do is get into it and kill the pilot right when we get into the arena and fake a malfunction. I only have one chance to get this right and my chance will come in a few seconds. They are switching positions. Right when the new guard gets in place I realize that that is the same Peacekeeper that was at my house right before Peeta and I left for the victory tour, not the man, the woman. The person who tried to arrest me under Snow’s power. I open up my jacket and take out a dart and drench it in the poison. Some of the poison gets on my skin by I let out a little weep since it started to burn my skin. I check to see if the Peacekeeper heard me and she still stands firm. Focus Katniss, you only have at the most one minute to do this before the hovercraft takes off. I start to hear the engines of the hovercraft warming up. Focus. I put the dart in the blow gun and I get her right in the heart. Dead.

Queen in the Mud
A girl suddenly vanishes from her world and finds herself drifting in and out of consciousness in a world of pure darkness. Queen in the Mud is an unusual litrpg novel featuring a female monster protagonist as she makes her way through a vicious untamed world ruled by a "system." (Book one of this story is now available on kindle unlimited. To satisfy exclusivity requirements on that platform, the chapters here have been removed. Here is a link to the book on amazon. I do plan on posting chapters for book two on royal road, but I don't currently have an estimated date for release.) (Cover art by Monomus)

Dungeon of Ideas
My name is Marshall Scott Law, I was a young rich bachelor who fell onto money when I inherited it from my Grandfather who died when I was twelve. For my inheritence I was given a little over one hundred million dollars. Instead of using the money to start a buisness I instead started to invest, after making some decent cash I decided to retire and live my life fishing. I died during a kidnapping gone wrong and when I thought all was lost I reincarnated as a dungeon. Sorry for the bad synopsis they just arent my forte. This is supposed to be a novel roughly based on a general guide while almost everything else will be decided by you the readers. I will make the first room but after that everything else is up to you guys.

Same Crap, Different World
A young man from early 21st century wakes up in a different world. This world is like a typical setting of an fantasy isekai novel. But it is also not. There is magic, alchemy, magical creatures, different non-human races, peasants and nobles, demons and dragons. But there is also politics, persecution, supremacism of every kind, entitlement, slavery and other unpleasant human tendencies. In short, this new world does not differ much from his old one. However, besides him, there may be others who have made such a strange trip, and awakened into this new world. There certainly have been others, in the past. But more than people and other living things, there have been items. All sorts of items, which are regarded as otherworldly artifacts with unknown danger and power. And he himself is an artifact as well, albeit a living one. Therefore he has use for the powers that be. He is also given a role and expectations to fulfill, to hide his real value. And in all that he still has to make sense of what has happened, what is happening, and find a way back, if possible. Author's note: I write this project mostly in (except chapter 1) in 60-100 page (40,000-70,000 word) chapters, edit them as such and later cut them down for publishing into 7-11 page segments (depending on natural breaks in the flow). Therefore, each chapter may be divided into 10-15 subchapters.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
