Cato looked towards Clove.
Clove looked into Cato's eyes and gulped.
Cato looked away quickly.
Clove looked at the ground and her stomach lurched. They were landing.
Cato looked over at Katniss and glared at her.
Clove winced as the hovercraft landed.
Cato was jolted around in his seat.
Clove took a deep breath as the hovercraft stopped shaking. She was instructed to leave the hovercraft and she stood up, looking at Cato.
Cato mouthed "Good luck." to her.
Clove nodded at him. "You too."
Cato watched as she went.
Clove stepped of the hovercraft. Enobaria was there to greet her. She took Clove to a room. Before knocking on the door she said "Good luck Clove. Watch out for twelve." She knocked and Kaiden opened the door.
Cato was led to a room. The catacombs made him feel unsteady.
Kaiden greeted Clove and offered her some food. Clove refused it. She couldn't eat.
Cato refused food and water; he got changed and waited.
Clove put on her jacket and heard the woman on the speakers.
"30 seconds."
Cato did as well; in every tributes room would be the voice.
Cato stood up.
Clove stopped herself from vomiting and walked into the tube.
"Twenty seconds."
Cato waited a few more seconds before going towards the tube, stepping into it and onto the plate. The sound of buzzing fills his ears.
"10 seconds."
Clove started to rise.
Cato took a deep breath an cleared his emotions.
Clove's heart beat fluttered and she looked out onto the arena.
Cato held his arm up to shield his eyes from the blazing sun.

Clove first saw the golden gleam of the cornucopia. Next she noticed the woods, and then the lake, but she already knew where they were going to go. She waited for the gong to sound.

Cato glanced around at the other tributes.
The gong sounded.
Clove sprinted towards the cornucopia like every other career before her had done.
Cato sprinted forward, taking out a guy with his own fists and continued running.
Clove quickly found a set of knives and decided to try one out on the district nine boy. They worked perfect. As the boy fell, Clove saw Katniss in front of him, scrambling over a backpack. Clove ran up and threw a knife at her too, before moving on to others and gathering more knives.
Cato was slashing away with a knife.
Clove spotted Cato and ran to him, throwing knives as she went.
Cato killed the boy from four essily. He spotted the swords.
"Got your back." Clove yelled to Cato as she arrived.
Cato smiled slightly and picked up the sword. He turned around.

Clove grinned and killed the girl from seven as she tried to get things from their area.
Cato took out the remaining tributes that were around and took a deep breath.
Marvel soon joined them. Followed by Glimmer. Then Marina. Soon all of the people around the cornucopia were dead.
"Can I join you guys?" I voice came from behind Clove. She spun around. It was Peeta. He seemed very injured, but still in relatively good condition.
Cato whirled around, sword raised. "What?"
"Can I join you? You saw me in training. I could help if you want." Peeta was unarmed. He knew that the careers would be his only chance.
Cato frowned. "How?"
"I'm strong." Peeta replied.
"What else?" Clove asked, looking around at the dead. Katniss wasn't there. "Do you know where Katniss is?"
Peeta swallowed "I could find her."
