Cato flinched slightly.
Clove held Cato tighter, trying to comfort him.
Cato's lips were pressed against her neck gently, his warm breath hitting her neck.
Clove felt his breath against her neck. It gave her the same hunger she had before the reaping. When she made the stupid decision to take the tesserae. Now she had ruined both their lives. Clove pulled his head in closer, stroking the spikes in his hair with her free hand.
Cato mumbled a few words in his sleep.
Clove giggled softly. She had never heard Cato talk in his sleep before.
Cato moved slightly.
Clove stroked down Cato's back.
Cato shivered slightly.
Clove raised the blanked up and made sure it covered all of Cato.
Cato snuggled into her.
Clove smiled. At least she would die knowing what is was like to love someone.

Cato woke up the next day; it was early.
Clove felt a small movement and her eyes fluttered open.
"Sorry." Cato mumbled quietly.
"It's ok babe." Clove smiled and kissed Cato lightly.
Cato kissed her back softly.
Clove checked the clock. It was only 4:00am.
"You should get back to sleep." Clove said, kissing him back a little harder.
"Mhm." Cato murmured, his hand tracing up her bare arm gently.
Clove put her hands on Cato's waist as she continued to kiss him.
Cato pulled away before is escalated even more.
Clove stroked his arm. "Sorry. Go to sleep. There's still an hour or so babe."
"Kkay then." Cato mumbled and laid back down, pulling her down gently.
Clove laid her head down on the pillow and looked at Cato.
Cato looked back at her, resting his hand on her cheek gently.
Clove smiled and raised her hand to hold his.

A small smile tugged at the corners of Cato's mouth.
Clove giggled and stared into Cato's eyes. "I love you." She mouthed.
"I love you too." Cato murmured softly.
Clove took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She had barely slept all night, and when she had, it had only been lightly. She was tired.
Cato stared into her eyes. "You gotta sleep Clove."
Clove opened her eyes, then closed them again. "I know, but," She started. "I dreamt that you died before. And so did the baby. I'm scared of sleeping babe."
"I'm here Clove," Cato told her. "You'll be ok."
Clove re-opened her eyes. "I'm not worried about me."
"I am," Cato told her.
A tear dropped from Clove's eye.
"I want you to live. It's my fault I got picked. You told me not to. I am ready to die Cato. I deserve it."
"No," Cato's voice was choked. "You won't die."
"But I deserve it Cato. I couldn't bare to watch you die, would make me stay and watch it?" Clove asked.
"You won't see it." Cato promised her.
"I couldn't bare to live without you babe. I would be dead. My body will function, but there won't be anything inside without you."

His chances of survival don't look good. With every day that goes by, Ethan grows weaker. They set off to the Ashen Lands, where even the self-proclaimed gods fear to tread. Gaia Ark
Commander Coop, a four-armed, power-armored, super-soldier, undertakes a mission to assassinate the head of a religious cult bent on destroying the UPSF and everyone they protect. But no mission is ever that simple. GAIA ARK is an action adventure hero's journey featuring a cranky cyborg, vampiric sword, alien monsters, and enough self-discovery to provide a character arc. It's a little rough around the edges, a little crude. I started writing this story on November 2, 2018. This story is mid-composition. Please expect clunky prose, notes [in brackets], and incomplete...

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
