《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Twenty-four: My Angel_

"When did you say Loki was getting back?" I asked a few days later. Balthazar leaned on the kitchen table.
"He never said. But it's been longer than he planned I know that."
"You think something could have happened to him? He's not answering my calls or texts." Balthazar shrugged. "I don't think he would have put himself in harm's way. Maybe try calling him again." I dialed Loki's number and put it on speaker.
It rang until his voice mail rang through the phone. "Hello..."
"Oh thank you Loki. We've been-"
"Haha! I'll bet you started to tell me your problem." I shook my head as Balthazar looked at the phone angrily. "Anyway. I'm not answering because I find you annoying. So don't call. Ever."
Rolling my eyes at the phone I started to hang up. "See. He's not-"
"But if your Candy press two." I looked over to Balthazar. "That wasn't there yesterday." Pressing two we waited. The sound of loud banging was heard. "Cansas! If your hearing this I've been captured. I'm wounded! The angels found me. Get Balthazar and come help me!" Then the call ended.
We stared at the at the phone wide-eyed. "Cansas..." I looked over to Balthazar to see he held an angel blade. "Take this." I did.
"You think you can hold them off while I go and get others."
"Yeah."
"Alright. You go. But if there are too many come back here." I nodded and in the sound of flapping wings, he was gone. I took a deep breath and disappeared as well. I reappeared outside of an old warehouse.
Quietly I walked around to the front of the building. Shouting could be heard from inside. Standing at the front door were two men. I held my hand up and made one of the angels fall to the ground. "Maroth. What happened?" The other angel said walking over. The angel on the ground stood up and took out his angel blade.
"I think it's the Cambion of his." The other angel took his blade out and they got ready to fight. I then made them both fly into a dumpster. As they were getting up I ran over to them.

"Sidriel! Look out!" Maroth shouted but it was too late. I bought the down into Sidriel's neck. Bright blue lights shot out of his mouth and eyes as he screamed.
When they went out he fell dead to the ground. I stood back up only to be punched in the face making me fly back and hit the ground hard. I looked up to find Maroth eyes were blue. He seemed to be in some kind of trance. But that didn't last long. Two other angels appeared in the sound of flapping wings behind me and one kicked me back on the ground.
They held me down as Maroth walked over holding a silver ring. When he got closer with it I could see runes I didn't know engraved in it. The ring-opened and I realized too late that it was a collar. He clasped it on my neck and the two other angels got off.
I stood up fast and tried to get it off. It made me feel weak, helpless. When the collar didn't come off I held my hand up at them. Nothing happened. I looked at my hand. What happened to my power?
The angels before me laughed. "I'm shaking in fear. Oh please, don't kill us." One of the angels said with a smirked. I looked to see my angel blade on the ground between us and I made a dive for it. The one angel kicked me in the face and I flew back. That hurt more than last time.
With a groan, I tried sitting up but another angel kicked me down. He kicked me once more and I lay there in pain. "W-what did you do?"
"We blocked your powers. All you have going for you at the moment is your humanity." The first angel said. Maroth then picked me up by the tuft of my shirt and dragged me towards the warehouse.
The doors opened and he dragged me in. "Is that the Cambion?" A voice asked.
"Yes, sir," Maroth said lifting me up so I could see the face of what I believed to be his leader. "Good." He smirked.
"Put it over there and chain it down." Maroth nodded and dragged me over to a corner. "C-Cansas? Let her go! You can have me just le-" The voice, which was Loki's, said but was cut off when he growled in pain.

"Shut up."
Maroth chained me down and walked over to his leader. I looked over to see Loki's arms chained above him. He was covered in blood and cuts. But what made me freeze up was the six golden brown wings that came out of his back. I know those wings...
Loki-or Gabriel looked over to me. "Cansas-" He was cut off when another angel punched him across the face with an angel blade. I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. How the Hell could he!
"Well. Isn't this sweet. A little reunion. You two must be so glad to see each other again. Oh, wait. You two haven't left each other's side." The leader said with a smirk. "That must hurt. To know he was there the whole time. He lied right to your face."
I tried to blink away the tears but it didn't help. Gabriel's face was guilt-ridden and sad. The leader of the group walked over to me and grabbed a handful of my hair. He pulled me up and I hissed in pain. I tried to bring my chained hands up but they were stopped.
"Is this the thing you were trying to keep safe, Gabriel?"
"Elyon. Don't you dare." Gabriel growled.
"Oh but I think I might. She's killed two of my flock members. And it would be so satisfying to see your face once I kill her." I tried pulling away but without my powers, he was stronger than me.
"It's alright. I'll make it as slow and painful as I can." He then plunged the blade into my side and I screamed. Blood ran fast.
"NO!" Gabriel shouted trying to get out of the chains he was in. But he was stopped when an angel punched him. Elyon smiled at this and plunged the blade into my side again. I screamed again and when he pulled the blade out I whimpered in pain.
"Please! Please stop!"
"It's alright Gabriel. It's almost over." Elyon then brought the blade over my heart and started to dig it into my skin. I tried to wiggle out of his grasp but it only made it worst.
Before Elyon could kill me the doors to the warehouse were blasted opened and in ran Balthazar with several other people. Elyon growled as he watched his flock try to fight them off.
"Retreat!"
He let me go and I fell to the ground in a bloody heap. I rolled over onto my back in pain and looked to my bleeding side. It was the worst of it. I placed my hands over the wounds and heard several wings flapping. The fighting stopped and someone ran over to me. It was Balthazar.
He knelt down next to me. "Oh, Cansas." He took the collar off and I instantly felt somewhat better as my powers flowed over me. "Is she going to be alright Balthazar! Tell me she's not dead." I heard Gabriel shout over to him. I bent my leg up as an uncomfortable wave of healing washed over my wounds.
Gabriel sighed heavily. Balthazar helped me sit up. "Is there any way I can help with the healing?" He asked placing a hand on my back. I shook my head. "No. No just help me up." He looked at me concerned and then helped me stand.
I turned to see Gabriel was being held up by one of the angels that had come in. "Cansas-"
"How dare you," I said angrily. I had to fight back the tears that came to my eyes. I tried walking but winched in pain. I used Balthazar as support. "If I could walk I would kill you here and now." Gabriel's eyes seemed to water up.
"YOU LEFT ME!"
The ground shook with my rage.
"Why?"
My voice breaking as a wave of sadness washed over me. It was eerily quiet in the room. "F-for you..." Tears ran down my cheeks.
"Then why did you come back? Why didn't you say anything? WHY?" My sadness and anger clashed with each other.
Gabriel slightly pushed the angel that was holding him up so he could stand on his own.
"I-I told you...I said I would come back..."
The memory of the day he left rang through my mind. It was all too much. And my wounds weren't helping. So I let unconsciousness take me over.
"Cansas!"
