《Looed and Lost You 》_Chapter Twelve: No emotion rule_

"Loki! Give me my clothes back!"
Loki looked over to the kitchen doorway to see me standing there in nothing but a towel. "And why do you instantly blame me?" He questioned.
"Because it's always you. Yesterday you made my phone disappear until I brought it back. And the day before that you stuck me to a tree until I could get back to the house."
My grip on my towel tightened. "Well, I think I'm doing a pretty good job as a teacher wouldn't you think? I think this lesson is my favorite." He said with a smirk as he looked me up and down.
"Stop it Loki. I'm serious. I left my necklace with my clothes. And if I lose that because of you I will kill you." I growled. Loki lifted his hand and he held my silver cross necklace.
"You mean this?" He asked looking at the necklace and then back to me. I sighed in relieve. "Yes. Now can I have it back please." I said going to take it from him but he pulled his hand away.
"Only if you tell me why it's so special." I looked at Loki and then to my necklace. "A friend gave it to me," I said making another move to get it but it disappeared and reappeared in Loki's other hand. "Tell me more about this friend."
"There's nothing to tell. He was a stupid idiot and my best friend. He was also an ass. Kind of like you." I said snatching it from Loki's hand. Loki smirked. "Oh but you love me." I rolled my eyes and wrapped my fingers around the necklace. "Whatever," I said walking out of the kitchen.
"You do love me!"

I walked back to my room and looked around trying to find any type of clothing. But still, I found nothing. With a sigh, I held my towel up with my armpits and put my necklace on. When It was back around my neck I tightened my towel around my body. "Loki!" I shouted storming out of my room.
"Yes, Candy?" Loki said coming into the living room. "How can I use my powers without getting angry?" Loki crossed his arms over his chest.
"Maybe try using some other kind of emotion." He said sitting down on the edge of the couch. Before I could start trying to get my clothes back Loki pointing his pointer finger at me and in the blink of an eye I was dressed.
"Just so you don't have to worry about that towel falling off. Even if it would make my day." He said with a cheesy smile. I rolled my eyes and then focused on trying to get my clothes back. "What emotion should I try?"
Loki thought for a moment. "Try being happy. Think of your happiest memory." He said falling back onto the couch and then sat up to face me. I racked my brain for a moment. There weren't many. But one, in particular, came to the mind. It was one of the better days I had with my Angel.
We had decided to have a picnic and watch the sunset. The food wasn't very good because my 5-year-old-self had made it but my angel didn't care. This was also the day he had shown me his beautiful wings for the first time. Six golden wings. What I would give to see them again. But thinking of this made me become sad.
The sound of clothes landing on the ground beside me was heard. I looked over and saw them laying there. I knelt down and started to pick them up. "Good job Candy! What did you think of?" Loki asked me walking over.

"At first it was happy...but then..." I picked up some more clothes. "Then what? Did you become angry again? Because that's-"
"No, I became sad. I don't want to do that again. I'll stick with anger." I said standing up and leaving Loki downstairs with the rest of the clothes I couldn't carry. I walked into my room and closed the door behind myself. I shoved my clothes into my bag for I had yet to unpack anything.
I looked up stunned to see Loki placing the rest of my clothes on the bed. "It's alright to get sad Cansas. You're only human...well half but that's beside the point." I looked away from Loki. "You know I'm always here if you need to talk. So is Balthazar. Well, when he's around. You don't need to feel like you have to hold it in. And I know you hunters have a strict no emotion rule or whatever."
This made me chuckle a bit before I looked back to Loki with teary eyes. "God I wish I could be normal," I said looking down and whipping my cheeks. "But I have to have a demigod and an angel on my tail because I'm some kind of demon."
Loki smiled and walked closer to me. He hesitated at first but then wrapped his arms around me. I buried my face in his chest and let a few tears roll down my cheeks. Loki rubbed my back and placed his chin on the top of my head.
When I had calmed myself down I pulled away from the hug and whipped my eyes.
"So...you want to help me unpack?"

8 85Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.
