Calliope, Dean , Bobby and Castiel stand outside a tv store that is airing a newscast, "Reports are flooding in, a 7.6 quake in Portland, 8.1 in Boston more in Honk Kong, Berlin and Tehran. The USGS has no explanation but says to expect a six-figure death toll."
"It's starting" Castiel says to them.
"Yeah, you think, genius" Dean remarks.
"You don't have to be mean" Castiel says to him.
"So then what do we do now?" Calliope asks.
"I suggest we imbibe copious quantities of alcohol. Just wait for the inevitable blast wave" Castiel says to her.
"Yeah, well, thank you, Bukowski. She means, how do we stop it?" Dean says to him.
Castiel turns to look at Dean and Calliope, "We don't. Lucifer will meet Michael on the chosen field. And a battle of Armageddon begins" he says to them.
"Well, where's this chosen field?" Dean asks.
"I don't know" Castiel tells him.
"There's gotta be something we can do" Dean says to him anger in his voice.
"I'm sorry, Dean. This is over" Castiel says.
"Listen to me, you junkless sissy. We are not giving up." Dean says as he looks at Bobby, "Bobby" he says and Bobby says nothing.
"Bobby?" Calliope says to him.
He looks at the two of them, "There was never much hope to begin with. I don't know what else to do" Bobby says to them.
"In between jobs, Sam and Dean would sometimes get a day, sometimes a week if they were lucky. They'd pass the time lining their pockets. Sam use to insist on honest work, but now he hustles pool, like his brother. They could go anywhere and do anything. They drove a thousand miles for an Ozzy show...two days for a Jayhawks game. And when it was clear, they'd park her in the middle of nowhere. Sit on the hood and watch the stars...for hours... without saying a word. It never occurred to them...that sure, maybe they never really had a roof and four walls... But they were never, in fact, homeless."
Dean and Calliope sat in the Impala, both unsure of what to really do next, "Chuck!" Calliope then shouts and Dean gives her an odd look. "If anyone knows where the showdown will be it's Chuck" she says as she then takes out her phone and they call Chuck.
"Mistress Magda" they hear Chuck say.
"Uhh, no, Chuck" Calliope says to him.
"Oh, uh, Calliope. Uh, wow, I didn't know that'd you'd call" Chuck says to her.
"Who's Mistress Magda?" Dean then asks.
"Oh Dean's with you of course, she's a nothing, just a-you know, a close friend" Chuck stammers.
"I'll bet, close. What happened to Becky?" Dean asks.
"It didn't work out. I had too much respect for her" Chuck says.
"You got a virgin/hooker thing going on" Dean then says.
"Okay, this can't be why you called" Chuck then says clearly wanting to change the topic.
"Sam said yes" Calliope then says.
"I know, I saw it. I'm just working on the pages" he tells her.
"Did you see where the title fight goes down?" Dean asks him.
Chuck sighs, "The Angels are keeping it top secret, very hush-hush" he says.
"Crap" Dean remarks.
"But I saw it anyway. Perks of being a prophet. It's tomorrow, high noon. Place called Stull Cemetery" Chuck tells them.
"Stull Cem—wait, I know that. That's an old boneyard outside of Lawrence. Why Lawrence?" Dean asks.
"Don't know. It all has to end where it started, I guess" Chuck says.

"All right, Chuck, any way to shirt-circuit this?" Dean asks.
"Besides the rings? No, I'm sorry." Chuck tells him.
"Do you have any idea what's going to happen next?" Calliope says.
"I wish that I did. But I.I just...honestly don't know yet" Chuck says.
"All right thanks, Chuck" Dean says to him as Calliope then hangs up the phone.
Dean then gets out of the car, and goes to the trunk, Calliope following him, as he then makes sure that he has anything and everything to try and stop what was about to happen. Calliope doesn't say a word to him, knowing that she can't stop Dean from doing what he wants to do. "You need to stay here" Dean tells her.
"No" she says firmly, "I am not letting you destroy the devil on your own. I love you Dean" she says as she then places her hands on his face, and kisses him.
He pulls away from her, "I love you too, Calliope" he says to her.
"Come on, we got work to do" she then says as she closes the trunk, and they start to head back to the car.
"Are you two going someplace?" they then hear Bobby say and neither one of them say a word. "You're both gonna do something stupid. You got that look" Bobby says looking at Dean.
"I'm gonna go talk to Sam" Dean says.
"You just don't give up" Bobby says to him.
"It's Sam!" Dean shouts at him.
"If you couldn't reach him here, you certainly won't be able to on the battlefield" Castiel says to him.
"Well, if we've already lost, I guess I got nothing to lose, right?" Dean tells him.
"I just want you to understand. The only thing that you're gonna see out there....is Michael killing your brother." Castiel says to him.
"Well, then I ain't gonna let him die alone" Dean says, as he then turns to get in the car.
"I can't let Dean die without me by his side either" Calliope tells them as she then gets in the passenger side.
Dean starts up the car and they take off for Stull Cemetery, "Things go south, you zap yourself out of there" Dean tells her.
"No!" she tells him, "You should know by now, I'm a stubborn woman" she says to him.
"Yeah...yeah you are" he says as they then focus on the road.
The come upon the cemetery, and before the enter it in the Impala, Dean places a tape in the tape player and Def Leppard Rock of Ages starts playing. Dean drives the Impala inside the cemetery, where they see Sam and Adam now being possessed by Lucifer and Adam staring each other down. They hear the Impala, and look at them as Dean gets closer. He stops the car, and turns it off, as they both then lean out the window, "Howdy Boys" Dean says looking at the archangels.
"Oh we're sorry were we interrupting something" Calliope then says. The two of them then get out of the car, and Calliope leans against the Impala as Dean steps around it looking at Lucifer/Sam.
"Hey, we need to talk" he says.
"Dean, even for you.... This is a whole new mountain of stupid' he says to Dean.
"I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to Sam" Dean says.
"You're no longer the vessel, Dean. You've got no right to be here" Michael/ Adam says.
"Adam, if you're in there somewhere, I am so sorry" Dean says to him.

"Adam isn't home right now" Michael/Adam says.
"Well then you're next on my list. But I need five minutes with him." Dean says.
"You little maggot. You are no longer a part of this story" he says to Dean.
"Hey! Ass-Butt!" they then hear a voice and see Castiel standing there, as he throws a Molotov cocktail at Michael causing him to burst into flames.
Dean looks over at Castiel, "Ass-butt?" he asks him.
"He'll be back and upset but you got your five minutes" Castiel says to Dean.
Lucifer/Sam looks at Castiel, "Castiel, Did you just Molotov my brother...with holy fire?" he asks him.
"Uh, no" Castiel tries to lie as he steps backwards.
"No one dicks with Michael but me" Lucifer/Sam says as he then snaps his fingers making Castiel explode. They look in horror at what just happened, as Calliope very slowly goes around the Impala coming up on the other side of Dean.
"Sammy? Can you hear me?" Dean then asks.
Lucifer/Sam turns to look at Dean, 'You know, I tried to be nice for Sammy's sake" he says walking up to Dean, "But you" he grabs Dean's jacket, "are such a pain in my ass" he then tosses Dean back into the window shield of the Impala. He starts walking toward Dean, when a gun shot is let out, and he looks over at Bobby, as Bobby shoots him again in the heart, and nothing happens. Lucifer/Sam looks at the wound then at Bobby as he then lifts his hand twisting it causing Bobby's neck to snap and he falls down dead.
"No!" Dean and Calliope shout.
"How dare you!" Calliope shouts at him.
"Oh, my sweet sweet niece, I'm so very sorry for this" Lucifer./Sam says as he then takes his angel blade out, and stabs her.
"No! No! No!" Dean cries out as he catches Calliope as she falls, he watches as she dies in front of his very eyes.
"Now where was I" Lucifer/ Sam says as he grabs Dean away from Calliope, and tosses him across the Impala again.
"Sammy? Are you in there?" Dean asks pain in his voice.
"Oh, he's in here, all right" Lucifer/Sam says as he punches Dean across the face, "And he's gonna feel the snap of your bones." He knocks Dean down again. "Every single one" he says as he picks Dean up off the ground, and shoves him against the car. "We're gonna take our time" Lucifer/Sam says as he continues to beat Dean to a pulp.
"Sammy" Dean says as he grabs at Lucifer/Sam, "It's okay, it's okay. I'm here...I'm here. I'm not gonna leave you" Dean tells him as he starts beating Dean again, "I'm not gonna leave you" he cries out again to him. Lucifer/Sam gets ready to beat Dean once again, when the sun reflects off the car, and something happens inside his head. His hand lowers, and he lets go of Dean, stumbling backwards, as Sam has taken back control.
Sam looks at his beaten and broken brother, "It's okay, Dean. It's gonna be okay. I've got him" Sam tells him as he then takes the rings out. Sam tosses them on the ground and he speaks the incantation, as the hole opens up. Sam looks back at Dean before looking back at the hole, "Sam" they then hear Adam/Michael saying.
"It's not gonna end this way, step back" he says to Sam.
"You're gonna have to make me" Sam says to him.
"I have to fight my brother, Sam" Michael/Adam says. "Here and Now. It's my destiny" Michael calls out to him. Sam takes a moment, looking at Dean, then he closes his eyes and gets prepared to fall down the hole. Michael runs at him, grabbing Sam, and the two struggle for a moment, before both falling into the cage.
The hole then closes up, and the rings are all that remain, as Dean looks over to where his brother just went. Dean takes a moment, as he slowly makes his way over to where the rings where, as he just sits there, pain coursing through his body. Hearing a noise he looks up surprised at seeing Castiel standing there behind him.
"Cass, you're alive?" he asks him.
"I'm better than that" Castiel says as he touches Dean's head and Dean is instantly healed. Dean then stands up looking at Castiel in confusion.
"Cass, are you God?" he asks him.
"That's a nice compliment, but no. Although I do believe he brought me back. New and Improved" Castiel says as he turns away and goes over to Bobby. Castiel bends down and touches Bobby bringing him back to life. Dean walks over to Calliope's body, and he bends down beside it, Castiel walks over to Dean. "I'm sorry Dean" he then says.
"Bring her back" Dean says to him.
"I can't Dean, she is part angel, my powers do not work on her" Castiel tells him as he walks away. Dean picks up Calliope's body, crying as he does so, he places her body in the back of the Impala, wanting to bring her back and give her a proper hunters funeral.
"Endings are hard. Any chapped-ass monkey with a keyboard can poop out a beginning. But endings are impossible. You try to tie up every loose end, but you never can. The fans are always gonna bitch. There's always gonna be holes, and since it's the ending it's all supposed to add up to something. I'm telling you, they're a raging pain in the ass."
"What are you gonna do now?" Dean asks Castiel who was in the front seat of the Impala with him as they drove back to Bobby's.
"Return to heaven, I suppose" Castiel tells him.
"Heaven?" Dean asks.
"With Michael in the cage, I'm sure it's totally anarchy up there" Castiel tells him.
"So, what, you're the new sheriff in town?" Dean asks him.
"I like that, yeah, I suppose I am" Castiel says to him.
"Wow, God gives you a brand-new shiny set of wings..and suddenly you're his bitch again" Dean says.
"I don't know what God wants. I don't even know if he'll even return. It just seems like the right thing to do." Castiel explains to Dean.
"Well, if you do see him, you tell him, I'm coming for him next" Dean then says.
"You're angry" Castiel says to him.
"That's an understatement" Dean says to him.
"He helped, maybe even more than we realized" Castiel argues with Dean.
"Easy for you to say, he brought you back. But What about Calliope? What about Sam? What about me, huh? Where's my grand prize? All I got is my brother in a hole, and the woman I love is dead." Dean says anger in his voice.
"You got what you asked for, Dean. No paradise, no hell. Just more of the same. I mean it Dean. What would you rather have? Peace....or freedom?" Castiel tells him.
Dean thinks about it for a moment, and he goes to answer but Dean is gone, "You really suck at goodbyes you know that?" Dean remarks as he keeps driving.
"After giving Calliope a hunters funeral, this would be the last that Dean and Bobby will see of each other for a very long time. And for the record at this point next week...Bobby will be hunting a Rougarou outside of Dayton. But not Dean. Dean didn't want Cass to save him, every part of him, every fiber he's got wants to die...or find a way to bring Sam and Calliope back to him. He had to at least try and get Calliope back, he had promised Sam to live a normal life with Calliope but it wasn't possible without her.
"So, what's it all add up to? It's hard to say. But me, I'd say this was a test...for Sam and Dean. And I think they did all right. Up against good, evil, angels, devils, destiny and God himself. They made their own choice. They chose family. And well, isn't that kind of the whole point? No doubt endings are hard? But then again...nothing never really ends, does it?"
Calliope gasps as she wakes up in a very familiar room, looking around she seems confused as how she as there. She then hears a noise coming from downstairs, and getting off the bed she heads out of the room to see what it was. Going down the stairs she hears voices that she had not heard in many years, "Mom? Dad?" she questions as they see her standing on the end of the stair case.
"Calliope Miranda" she hears her mother say and she starts crying as she goes up to her parents, holding them close.
"This...this means I'm dead doesn't it?" she asks them.
"Yes our sweet Calliope" he father says.
"But shouldn't I ...shouldn't I go wherever angels go when they die" she asks.
"You never took in your grace, you are still more human than angel" her mother tells her, as she brushes a strand of Calliope's hair back.
