(Season 4 x 1)
For the next few months Calliope kept herself busy, help other hunters that would call Bobby in for help. She tried to keep in touch with Sam, but eventual he stopped calling her back. Then just over a week ago, the dreams had begun. She had woken in the middle of the night after seeing Dean struggling down in hell. It continued on and on, each night she would wake up in a sweat. Bobby started to notice her restless sleeping, but he never commented on it. Then the night happened that the dream finally changed.
Calliope was walking amongst the woods, the ones that they had buried Dean in. As she approached closer to Dean's grave she began to sense that she wasn't alone. Looking around she saw no one, as she went back toward Dean's grave. As she stepped closer she could hear her name being called out in a voice she hadn't hear in months. Turing around she saw Dean standing before her, alive and well, a smile on his face. She ran to him, going to wrap her arms around him, he figure fades away. She begins to look around for him, and sees him by the grave. "Not yet" he tells her and she looks at him confused. "Soon" he then says to her as he looks down at the grave. Calliope looks too, and sees that the dirt is beginning to move, and she then sees fingers emerge. Soon enough a whole hand then a whole arm, Calliope watches as Dean then begins to pull himself out.
Calliope sits up in her bed, wiping the sweat from her face. Her body was shaking from the dream of Dean pulling himself out of the grave. She looked around the room, seeing that it was already morning. She decided to get herself dressed and head down stairs to get some breakfast for herself and Bobby. Once she's fully dressed in jeans and a red tank top, she makes her way out of the room and down the stairs. Entering the kitchen she sees that Bobby is already awake, and already had breakfast made for himself and for her.
"Another dream?" he asks her.
"You know?" she asks as she heads to the fridge and gets herself some orange juice.
"Yeah, I know. It's hard not to tell, but I thought I would mind my own business" he tells her as she closes the fridge and then sits down at the table.
"Sorry Bobby" she apologizes as she puts some food on her plate.
"Do you mind telling me what exactly has been waking you up each night?" he then asks her.
"It's..it's umm been Dean" she says to him as she takes a bite of egg.
"Oh" he replies before she can tell him more his phone rings. Bobby gets up to answer. "Yeah" she hears him say,"Yeah..Who's me?" after a beat he hangs up. Calliope stops eating and looks at Bobby who is confused by the call. That's when the phone rings again and he picks it up, "Who is this.....This ain't funny call again, I'll kill ya" Bobby then slams the phone back down on the reciver.
"Bobby, what's going on?" Calliope asks him.
"It's uh..it's just some idiot" he says to her as he sits back down at the table.
"Bobby, those dreams I've been having are about Dean in hell, then last night I had a different one, this time it was Dean coming out of the grave" she explains to him and he looks back at the phone.

"Bobby what is it?" she asks him.
"That call, they claimed they were Dean" he tells her. Neither one of them knows what to say as they go back to eating.
The next day Calliope was seated in the den when there is a pounding at Bobby's front door. Bobby tells her he's got it and walks off toward the front door. As Calliope continues reading, she hears a commotion coming from the front room, and then hears a voice she hasn't heard in months. Quickly getting up she see's Dean standing behind a chair and looking at Bobby. "Your name is Robert Steven Singer. You became a hunter after your wife got possessed and..you're about the closest thing I have to a father. Bobby, it's me" he says as he then sees Calliope and a smile forms on his face. Calliope sees the knife in Bobby's hand she then makes it go flying at Dean, who ducks just in time.
"I'm not a shapeshifter!" he shouts at her.
"Then you're a Revenant" Bobby says to him.
Dean then picks up the knife, "Alright, if I was either, could i do this with a silver knife" he rolls up his sleeve of his shirt, taking the knife he cuts himself.
"Dean?" Bobby then says to him.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you" he says as he takes a step closer to Bobby and Calliope. Bobby pulls him in for a hug.
"It's..it's good to see you, boy" Bobby says.
"Yeah, you too" Dean says as he pulls away from Bobby then walks toward Calliope, who takes a step back away.
"Callie, it's really me" he says as he goes up to her, brushing a strand of hair from her face. She looks up at him, and places a hand on the side of his face, "Dean" she says as she then pulls him in for a hug. They hold onto one another never wanting to let go when they hear Bobby clear his throat.
"How..how did you get out?" she asks once they let go of one another.
"I don't know, I just, uh, I just woke up in a pine box" Dean says as he's then splashed in the face with Holy Water.
"I'm not a demon either" Dean says to them.
"Sorry can't be too careful" Bobby says to him as they then walk toward the kitchen to get Dean's face cleaned off. As the get a towel for Dean, he explains about what happened when he came back.
"But that don't make a lick of sense" Bobby says as Dean follows him and Calliope into the next room.
"Yeah, yeah you're preachin to the choir" Dean says.
"Dean, your chest was ribbons, your insides were slop, and you've been buried four months. Even if yo could slip out of hell and back into your mean suit" Bobby says.
"I know, I should look like a Thriller video reject" Dean says.
"Do you remember anything?" Calliope asks.
"Not much, I remember I was a Hellhound's chew toy, and then ...lights out. Then I come to six feet under, that was it" he tells them as Bobby sits down, "Sam's number's not working. He's, uh, ..he's not" Dean asks.
"Oh, he's alive" Bobby and Calliope share a look, " as far as we know" Bobby then adds.
"Good..wait, what do you mean, as far as we know?" Dean then asks them.
"We've sorta lost contact. Dean, Sam wanted to go off on his own after you well kicked the bucket" she explains.

"Seriously, you should have gone with him" Dean says a bit bitter towards her.
"I wanted to, I really did but Sam was adement that he went on his own, wanted to grieve on his own I guess. We tried to keep in contact with him Dean, but he cut Bobby and I out. It was hard on us afterall, we had to bury you" she explains to him.
"Why did you bury me, anyway?" Dean then asks.
"We wanted you salted and burned, usual drill but.. Sam wouldn't have it" Bobby tells him as he stands up.
"Well I'm glad he won that one" Dean says.
"He said you'd need a body when he got you back home somehow. That's about all he said" Bobby tells Dean as he leans against the desk.
Dean looks at the two of them, "What do you mean?" he asks suspicioulsly.
"Sam practiacally took off after we buried you, he was quiet about it. I tried keeping track of him, but he avoided all my calls, he avoided Bobby's as well. We tried to find him, we really did but Sam just doesn't want to be found" Calliope tells him.
Dean looks away, "Oh, Damnit Sammy!" he says.
"What?" Bobby asks him.
"Oh, he got me home okay, but whatever he did, it is bad mojo" Dean says to them.
"What makes you so sure?" Bobby asks him.
"You should have seen the grave site. It was like a nuke went off. And then there was this..this force, this presence, I don't know, but it, it blew past me at a fill-up joint. And then this" Dean says as he takes his jacket off and pulls his sleeve up reveling a burned handmark on his shoulder.
"What in the hell?" Bobby asks him as he stands back up and moves closer to Dean.
"It was like a demon just yanked me out. Or rode me out" Dean says as Calliope goes closer, looking at the mark.
"Why?" she asks him.
"To hold up their end of the bargain" Dean tells her.
"You think Sam made a deal?" Bobby asks.
"It's what I would have done" Dean tells them.
"Well, any idea how to find your brother?" Calliope asks him.
"I might got an idea, can I uh..use your phone?" Dean asks Bobby, he nods at Dean and they head to the kitchen.
Dean takes the phone and starts to dial a number, "Yeah, hi. I have a cell phone account with you guys, and uh, I lost my phone. I was wondering if you could turn the GPS on for me...yeah, names Wedge Antillies..social is 2-4-7-4..Thank you" Dean then hangs the phone up and heads back to the den. Bobby and Calliope follow right behind.
"How'd you know he'd use that name?" Bobby asks as Dean sits down at the desk.
"You kiddin' me? What don't I know about that kid" he tells them as he starts to type away at the computer.
"Hey Bobby?" Dean says picking up a nearby empty alchol bottle, " What's the deal with the liquor store? What are your parents out of town or you two been having parties?" he asks them.
"Like we said..last few months ain't been all that easy" Bobby tells him. Dean looks at the two of them holding their gaze.
"Right" he says as he looks back at the computer.
After a minute or two, it beeps, "Sam's in Pontiac, Illinois" Dean tells them.
"That's right near where we buried you" Calliope tells him.
"Right where I popped up. Hell of a coincidence, don't you think?" he says to them.
"We'll take my car" Calliope offers, as she walks away and grabs her set of keys. Bobby and Dean look at one another before following her out of the house.
Calliope pulls the car up to a run down motel, "Well this place looks swell" she jokes as the three of them get out of the car. They go to the main office, and ask which room Sam is in using the fake name Dean had asked about earlier. The manager is reluctant at first, until Calliope passes him a fifty dollar bill. He eagerly lets them know which room and how to get there. Walking down a hall they get to the end and stand infront of room 207, where Dean knocks on the door. It opens to reveal a dark haired woman, and Calliope gets a weird feeling about her for some reason.
"So where is it?" she asks the three of them.
Dean looks at Bobby and Calliope then back at the woman, "Where's what?" he asks her.
"The pizza...that takes two guys and a girl to deliever?" she says to them.
"I think we got the wrong room" Dean says, just as they start to walk away they hear Sam's voice..
"Hey, is" he stops when he sees the three of them standing there, he looks at Dean in complete shock.
"Heya, Sammy" Dean says to his brother.
Dean then steps into the room and as he gets closer to Sam, Sam takes a knife and lunges at his brother. Both Calliope and Bobby grab at Sam, pulling him away from Dean. Bobby holds Sam back and Calliope stands between the men, holding her hands out, keeping them away from each other with her powers,
"Who are you!" Sam shouts at Dean.
"Like you didn't do this" Dean says back.
"DO what!" Sam demands.
"It's him Sam, it's really him. Trust us, Bobby and I have already been through this" Calliope says to Sam. Sam looks at Calliope then at Dean, he slowly stops struggling with Bobby.
"What?" he says still confused. Calliope lowers her hands as she allows Dean to slowly walk toward his brother.
"I know I look fantasitic, huh?" Dean says as Bobby let's go of Sam. Both brother embrace each other for several minutes, Calliope could see the tears in Sam's eyes, making her and Bobby have tears as well.
Eventually Dean and Sam let go of one another, but Sam keeps a hand on Dean's shoulder.
"So are you two like...together?" the woman from earlier asks the boys.
"What? No.no..he's my brother" Sam tells the woman.
"Uh..I got it..I..guess. Look I should probably go" she says to them.
"Yeah..yeah.. that's probably a good idea. Sorry" Sam says to her.
Calliope, Bobby and Dean watch as Sam says good bye to the woman, and closes the door. He sits back down once the woman leaves, Dean stares intensily at his brother, arms crossed.
"So tell me, what'd it cost?" Dean asks him.
"The girl?" Sam says smiling, "I don't pay, Dean" he adds.
"That's not funny Sam. To bring me back. What'd it cost? Was it just your soul, or was it something worse?" Dean asks him.
"You think I made a deal?" Sam asks them.
"That's exactly what we think?" Bobby tells him.
"Well, I didn't" Sam answers.
"Don't lie to me" Dean says intensily.
"I'm not lying" Sam says to him.
"So what now, I'm off the hook and you're on, is that it" Dean says as he walks closer to Sam, "You're some demon's botch-boy? I didn't want to be saved like this" Dean says to him.
Sam stands back up, angry about the accusations, "Look, Dean, I wish I had done it, all right" he sasy.
Dean grabs Sam by the shirt, "There's no other way that this could have gone down. Now tell me the truth" Dean demands.
"I tried everything" Sam says as he breaks Dean's grip on him, "That's the truth. I tried opening the Devil's Gate. Hell I tried to bargain, Dean, but no demon would deal, all right. You were rotting in hell for months. For months, and I couldn't stop it. So I'm sorry it wasn't me, all right? Dean I'm sorry" Sam tells his brother.
"It's okay, Sammy. You don't have to apologize, I believe you" Dean then says calmly.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm gladdened that Sam's soul remains intact, but it does raise a sticky question" Bobby then says.
"If he didn't pull Dean out of hell, than what did?" Calliope asks.
Calliope and Bobby sit down on the couch as Dean sits on the coffee table, Sam grabbed beers and handed them out to each of them.
"So what are you doing around here if you weren't digging me out of the grave?" Dean asks his brother as he opens his beer.
"Well, once I figured out I couldn't save you, I started hunting down Lilith, trying to get some payback" Sam explains to them.
"All by yourself, who do you think you are, your old man" Bobby says to him a bit angry.
"Uh, yeah, I'm sorry Bobby, Callie I should have called. I was pretty messed up" Sam says as Dean then picks something up that he had spotted across the room.
"Oh, yeah I feel your pain" he says to Sam holding up the pink flowered bra.
"Anyways, uh, I was checking these demons out of Tennesse, and out of nowhere they took a hard left, booked up here" Sam explains to him.
"When?" Dean asks him.
"Yesterday morning" Sam answers.
"When I busted out" Dean says to them.
"You think these demon's are here 'cause of you?" Bobby asks Dean.
"But why?" Sam then asks.
"Well, I don't know some badass demons drags me out and now this? It's gotta be connected somehow" Dean tells them.
"How you feeling anyway?" Bobby then asks Dean.
"I'm a litte hungry" Dean smiles.
"I think Bobby meant, do you feel like yourself, or do you feel anything different or strange?" Calliope asks him.
"Or demonic? Calliope, Bobby how many times do I have to prove I'm me" Dean says to them.
"Yeah, well listen no demon's letting you loose, out of the goodness of their hearts. They've gotta have something nasty planned" Bobby says.
"Well, I feel fine" Dean says.
"Okay, look, we don't know waht they're planning. We got a pile of questions and no shovel. We need help" Sam says.
"I know apsychic. A few hours from here. Something this big, maybe she's heard the other side talking" Bobby says to them.
"Hell yeah, it's worth a shot" Dean says to Bobby.
"I'll be right back" Bobby says as he then exits the room.
Dean stands up as if to follow Bobby when Sam tells him to wait and also stands up, "You probably want this back" Sam sasy as he reaches inside his shirt taking out the amulet that Dean always wore. He takes it off his neck and passes it back to Dean, who takes it in his hand.
