Dan looks at all of the colourful pages of the graphic novel. While intrigued in the storyline, his thoughts seem to wander off. He finds it funny that within one night a person can go from feeling anxious - to literally making tea in someone else's house - but Charlie is a quick adapter.

"Please don't tell me you take sugar?!" Charlie shouts out, while Dan looks at one certain picture in particular.

"Nah!" He replies with a smile, although that fades within a matter of seconds. The comic book is rated mature...and somehow Dan didn't know that. So it's no wonder why he is in shock.

The comic insinuates that Lady Luck rapes Liam. Something of which Dan has no knowledge of. "Um...Charlie?!" Dan calls out, seconds later Charlie walks through the living room door holding two tea's.

"What's up?"

"This is fucked up." Charlie rolls her eyes at that page.

"Lucky for us this is another earth. I don't like what the co-writer did to her beyond the average comics. She's a nasty piece of work...but she isn't that cruel." Dan doesn't understand the types of issues. Especially which 'earths' are which.

"Is that how Lacey came about?" Dan asks.

However, he can't help look at the page. The comic shows a closed door with several speech marks coming out of it. Mainly Liam telling no. The stern 'no' develop's into Liam pleading for her to stop. It's one of the darkest things Dan has ever seen. Goosebumps appear on his arms when the page ends on '...' meaning silence.

"One of the various ways...yes." The more Dan learns about Illusion and Lady Luck, the more he gets interested.

Lacey is Liam and Lily's daughter. Although she won't make an appearance in the first film...that being said Lila hasn't been ruled out of a possible sequel.

"Every Marvel movie ignore comics like those. We're keeping with the original." Dan thankfully remembers the actual plot of his movie. The post credit scene is Lily sitting in a hospital toilet, looking at a positive pregnancy stick.

"Thank god." Dan smiles while he picks up his tea that Charlie made, however he won't tell her that he doesn't like tea. He's more of a black coffee type of guy.

"I'm guessing you don't have kids of your own?" Dan smiles before shaking his head ever so slightly.

"You?" Charlie shakes his head too.

"I want them...but it's hassle of going into the dating game again and finding someone who is enthusiastic about marriage and a family as me." Dan sniffs, not because he is sad or anything like that, but simply because he has a cold. Because of Bastille he learned how to hide illnesses.

"Jesus Christ, you really are Liam Dawson." Dan throws his eyes back at Charlie's comment.

"That's a good thing!" Charlie laughs while she crosses her legs, sitting on the sofa next to Dan. "Is it?" Dan laughs, Charlie on the other hand sternly nods her head with a warm smile.

Charlie's smile is contagious, as Dan can't help but smile back at her. "I wish I can relate to Lily..." Charlie sighs as she holds her cup close to her face. The smell of the milky tea fills her nostrils. The steam presses against her pale cheek.

"So you...don't want kids?" Dan asks confusion.

"Oh no" - Charlie shakes her head at her mistake - "no...I want a Lacey of my own. Trust me. I just want to relate to her, but I'm not evil enough." Dan then cracks a smile as he thinks about ways he can help make Charlie 'evil'.

"Lily likes gambling right?" He asks, knowing the answer already.

"Yeah..." Charlie's voice curiously trails off.

"I know an arcade with machines that are easy to 'influence' in your favour." Charlie's eyes light up.

"Do you want to go with me?" Although Charlie was intending for a quiet evening with her new friend, she really wants to go out with Dan and do a bit of childish mischief.

"Like...now?" Her eyes glance at the time.

"They'll be closed now, but maybe tomorrow after we wrap up?" Charlie nods her head. She was just about to comment that it's a bit too late for anything.

"I'd love that." With that Dan smiles like the pink and purple Cheshire Cat. Charlie then picks her graphic novel up, once again.

He was hoping Charlie would agree with him...

"But seriously, we have to talk about their relationship. It's so fucked up." Charlie says holding up her graphic novel on a page where their characters are having a full on intimate kiss.

"Can't wait." He says with a shy smile, while Charlie continues to blabber on about their characters.
