Izzy's PoV:
Squid carried me into his house and put me down on what I was pretty sure was the sofa, although it was hard to tell as I was so dizzy. I could vaguely make out that Squid was talking to some people. I slowly turned my head in the direction of the other people to see if I could see who they were and immediately wished I hadn't. Pain shot through my body and my head felt like it exploded. I shut my eyes, I was in so much pain. I don't really know what happened next as it was all just a blur but I remember pain, pain worse than I had ever felt before, then a lot of movement, then I was in someone's arms. I opened my eyes to see the floor about an inch from my face. I must have rolled off the sofa and, I assumed it was Squid, caught me. Squid lifted me up and I heard him say something. I felt someone else walk past me then Squid put me on the floor. There where pillows on the floor and then someone stepped over me, I opened my eyes to see who they were. I recognised them immediately even through the blur. It was Tomohawk, he was lighting the fire. I felt the warmth hit me and the dizziness got slightly more bearable. "Thanks Tom." I said weakly. He smiled at me and then turned to Squid who was behind me. "I'm gonna go to bed. What are you going to do?" He said. "I will stay down here with Izzy. Can you tell Nicole to set up the spare bed for Flo." Squid replied. Tom nodded then walked out of the room. "Are you feeling any better?" He asked me. I nodded, "slightly." Squid put his hand on my forehead, "What were you and Flo doing out there?" He asked me. I thought about what to say. Should I lie and say we were going for a walk or should I tell the truth. But then all those thoughts left my head as I felt pain in my ankle. I remembered twisting it, my foot must have gone numb with cold but now it's warmed up I can feel the pain again. I groaned and tried to sit up to pull my shoe off, but I sat up way to quickly and the dizziness overwhelmed me again causing me to fall back to the ground. Squid tried to catch me but, as he did so, he lent over and his arm touched the wood burner that was boiling hot. He yelled in pain and dropped me, I hit my head on the ground and I nearly passed out. I could hear an alarm and there was a burning smell. I felt extreme heat near my back and I tried to roll away. I saw a figure rush past me and try to grab Squid. I heard Squid say something that I couldn't make out, whatever it was the other person wasn't happy about it but they grabbed me and lifted me up over their shoulders. I knew who it was now, it was Tom. He had come in to get Squid but Squid had told him to get me. Tom rushed out of the room and handed me to someone who rushed outside. I could hear sirens, I tried to look around me, I could see lots of smoke, two fire engines and and ambulance. Nicole was carrying me and she rushed towards the ambulance where someone else tried to take me. Although I hadn't known Nicole very long, I felt safe around her, Squid and Tom, it was the safest I had felt in a long time. So with the last ounces of strength I had I clung on to Nicole, not letting go. They managed to prise me off her though and I was carried into the ambulance. Squid and Tom soon joined me. A breathing tube was put over my mouth and I could see that Squid had the same. There was a horrible burn up the side of his arm and onto his back. Suddenly all the pain that had happened to me in the past few days exploded inside me, my ankle felt like it was disintegrating, the side of my leg felt like it was on fire and my head was hurting like crazy. I was in so much pain the world started to fade. The last thing I remember before I blacked out was movement, sirens, people crowding around me, then black.
