Tears brimmed my eyes but I blinked them away. Stop being sensitive Ashley!

I quickly left the school and I went straight to the café and I sat in the corner seat. Hayley wasn't here yet so I took out my sketchbook and started to sketch some roses to pass the time.

"They're pretty"

I looked up and the waitress stood beside me, smiling at me.

"Thank you!" I told her "I really like drawing"

"I'm not much of a drawer" she admitted "But I like to paint"

"Really? That's so cool! Did you do any of the ones in here?"

She blushed "I did actually, I did all of them"

I gasped "Seriously?! Girl, you're amazing!!"

She stared at her shoes "Thank you so much! My mum put them all up, she owns this place" she tucked some of her pink hair behind her ear and took a seat beside me.

"I'm Ashley" I introduced myself.

She gave me a small smile "I'm Rena"
