《INVITE ME ROUND》Chapter 14

This is going to be fun, you think as you stroll down the hallways of the college building, grinning euphorically.
You finally stop in front of a door. The biology course.
"Harmony Laura-Beth Green, whatever has gotten into you, you're going to explain it right here and right now."
"Miss Y/l/n, first you will explain what has gotten into you and why you're screaming so loud." You looked to your right where Ms. Ritter was standing in a formal black dress, looking at you with such a perfect venomous gaze as if she had been practising this gaze for days.
"Whoops," you grinned in embarrassment and your confidence vanished all at once. It was uncomfortably quiet in the classroom and not a single student said a word.
You didn't wanted to face Ms. Ritter
because the last time you met her at the water park you had already embarrassed yourself enough.
"Konnichi wa, Ms. Ritter, what brings you here?"
"Definitely not you Miss Y/n because I'm walking past you," she answered.
The strangest thing, though, was that Harmony wasn't in that classroom.
"I've been looking for you."
Really Y/n? You couldn't think of anything more believable?
You swallowed and looked at the blackboard without looking at Ms. Ritter.
Her handwriting was truly beautiful.
"Really? You sounded more like you wanted to speak to Miss Green, who, as you should have noticed, is not here today for whatever reason. So, talk to me..."
You opened your mouth to say something when she cut you off again.
"At the end of the lesson."

"Well? Do you want to keep staring at me or are you going tell me what's wrong with you? I have a lot of things to do but I can't do anything if you're holding me back." You watched her precisely as her bag's clasp jammed and she pulled at it aggressively.

"I'm holding you back? You can leave any moment Lilith, you know that. You were the one who-"
"This stupid fucking bag!"
"Wait", when you said these words you also got nervous at the same time. You had to close the bag because you had offered your help.
"Try to be a little gentler," she hadn't let go of the bag, so your fingers touched several times as you closed her bag. You tried not to pay attention to the tingling sensation that appeared with every touch of her skin.
"You disturbed my class. What do you have to say about that?" She slung her bag over her shoulder.
Was she too fine to at least say thank you? Yes.
Did that surprise you? Of course not.
"Excuse me I had to clear something up with Harmony," you said honestly.
"Are you and Harmony okay?"
You raised your eyebrows in amazement. Did that really come out of her mouth?
"So Miss Y/n, you really are not from this world. Get out of here or you'll walk me to my car unintentionally."
"Lilith-"
"Ms. Ritter," she corrected you.
"Ms. Ritter, I'm-" Without realizing it, you slammed into a pane of glass as Lilith walked through the exit like a normal person.
"Go now," she stifled a smirk.
"Fine. Drive carefully." You stifled a smirk too.
