《INVITE ME ROUND》Chapter 9

"I guess you've not only lost your manners but your sanity as well!",
the door you were leaning against slammed open and you bumped into someone. Someone who smelled of something so enchanting that words could not describe it.
"Excuse me," you immediately let go of the woman - even if it wasn't easy to part from the soft fabric you touched - who was only wearing a bathrobe. A black one.
"What are you still doing here?"
Her voice sounded calmer, which really surprised you. Your gaze was on the floor, where you saw nothing but the black wooden laminated floor, and her feet.
That was the moment you saw the most beautiful feet in the world.
These could be the thoughts of a foot fetishist.
"Erm...I don't know," you switch up to her, noticing her startled, confused, helpless face at that moment.
"You okay, Ms?"
She looked at you helplessly for a moment, as if trying to say something, but that expression quickly faded before her gaze darkened again.
For a second you thought that this woman was ready to Tell you her entire biography, which you actually hoped for. But you knew you were just the daughter's friend.
"Didn't you hear me?", you woke up from the thoughts of what it would be like to be this woman's friend. What would she talk about?
What would she do?
As devilish as she seems she could kill you if stares could kill.
"So now you're deaf too." She snorted, suddenly grabbing your arm and pulling you somewhere.
"Why are we running that fast Lilly, I was hoping-"
"Why are we running that fast",
she mimicked you with a squeaky annoyed tone that gave you goosebumps.
You smirked impressed, looking up at her expectantly.

"You watch out now!", she pressed you against the front door.
"Hey easy," you warned her, your eyes slowly widening.
She stuck out her index finger and leaned down to you.
"You're not just leaving my house, you're staying away from my well mannered, respectful daughter. Believe me, I know exactly what kind of person you are.", she frowned.
"You can pretend to be someone else.
Being this tough funny little girl.
And I can pretend that I believe you. But then I would be lying.
And we don't want that, do we?", she smiled smugly as you swallowed, realizing she was serious.
"I'll say it one last time- Leave. Now." She pulled you towards her to open the door you were leaning against before pushing you out of the house. And before she could slam the door in your face, you pressed your hand against it to hold it open.
"So you think you really know me?
You don't know anything about me at all. You know as little about me as I know about you. How can you say anything or judge me, if you don't even know who I am?", you gasped for air.
"Instead of making mean excuses about me, you should look at yourself first. Not just at yourself. Look at the clock. It's late.
I have to walk home in this scary darkness. Anyway, good night." You smiled and closed the door on your own before Rina's mom could do it.
"Wait!" you hoped to hear the woman's voice as you walked away from the house step by step, but nobody said anything.
And from that evening, your friendship with Rina ended.

Memoirs of A Healer/Clinical Social Worker: Autobiography of Bruce Whealton
A loving spouse. A healer. How does this person cope with evil villains willing to destroy everything? They convicted the victim... now how does the victim goes on with life as a healer? As the book opens, I was in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt in December 2019. What starts as a simple conversation with another patient changed my life. Most of the rest of the book tells the reader how I got to this point. I experienced profound injustice between 2004 and 2006. By opening with a story about suicide, I want the reader to understand that the injustice was not just something that happened long ago. This book is an account of all the accomplishments and successes that I had in overcoming tremendous odds and challenges. Growing up, I was paralyzed by shyness and lacked social skills, and so the idea of becoming a psychotherapist never occurred to me when I went off to college. I learned that I could overcome those limitations. I wanted to bring that hope and healing to others. Activities like that make life meaningful and bring me joy. The reasons why I was suicidal in 2019 were set in motion in 2000 when a meteor would come crashing down upon the life that I had built leaving me powerless to do anything other than watching everything burn to ashes - the home that I had, the life I had known, the love I had, my career, everything would disappear almost as if it never existed. In that one the year 2000, I could not imagine things could get any worse. But the nightmare would continue for the next few years... culminating in a suicide attempt in 2019. Now, I am connecting with others, building relationships, and finding a reason to live again. I am writing my own story of my life. I will fight against the injustice of the past and offer my gifts to the world. I have so much to offer. I have quite a story to tell. I hope you will help me to move on with my life.
