"Hey, Britt." Piper smiled as soon as her girlfriend walked into the choir room before leaving Santana behind and sitting down beside her, after pressing a kiss to her cheek. Piper giggled quietly then, taking another look at Brittany before frowning a bit. "Are those... Leg warmers? In your arms?"

"Yeah." Brittany shrugged with a smile. "Rachel gave them to me, but how could I have guessed you're supposed to use leg warmers in your legs. I mean, what would they even do there?"

"Warm your legs up, Britt." Piper chuckled quietly at the way Brittany suddenly gasped in surprise. "But, hum... Did you say Rachel gave them to you?"

"Yeah." She nodded.

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"But..."

Before Piper could even finish her sentence, however, she stopped talking when no one other than Sue Sylvester walked into the choir room with Mr. Schue. For a moment, Piper waited for the blow she knew was about to come from the cheer coach before frowning a bit when coach Sylvester said nothing and just moved to take a seat at the back of the room.

"Hum... What exactly is going on?" Rachel was the one to break the silence as Mr. Schue sighed, standing in front of the kids.

"Coach Sylvester is joining us this week for glee club." He said, and, at that, everyone shouted out their protests.

"This can't be happening." Tina scoffed.

"Yeah, this does seem like a terrible idea." Artie agreed.

"Guys! It's not up for discussion, okay?" Mr. Schue said, causing Piper to cross her arms in front of her chest with a small pout. "Now it's no secret that Coach Sylvester has taken her licks."

"I mean... Just wanky..." Santana smirked.

"And I believe that she could use a little sympathy from us." Mr. Schue continued, causing Mercedes to shake her head

"Sympathy?" She spat. "From us? Nuh uh."

"Yeah, all she's ever done is make our lives miserable." Quinn agreed.

"She got exactly what she deserved." Santana nodded.

"You're lucky I left my blow-gun at home Air-bags cause I got a clear shot at your nonnies." Coach Sylvester said, as Santana frowned at her, offended.

"Guys, Coach Sylvester has had her recent setbacks but she is a proven champion." Mr. Schue argued, clearly trying to convince the children about having coach Sylvester there. "We could do worse than to have that winning record in our midst."

"Let me break it down for you." The woman said. "I am no longer a threat to you people, alright. I'm just hoping that your singing and dancing around will pull me out of my doldrums and give me a reason to live... Is that too much to ask?"

At that, Piper and Mercedes exchanged a glance, not really buying anything that coach Sylvester was saying, but unable to argue any further.

"Guys, it's settled." Mr. Schue decided. "Sue's going to be with us for the week. Now, I received an envelope in the mail today. I know that we're facing Kurt and the Warblers at Regionals."

"Sweet Porcelain..." Coach Sylvester whispered, causing Piper to giggle a bit under her breath.

"And it looks like this year, we face Oral Intensity again."

"They cleaned our clock last year." Mercedes groaned.

"It seems that the governing board has assigned a theme to this year's Regionals and part of our score will be based on how we interpret it." Mr. Schue continued. "This year's theme: anthem. Now who can tell us who what an anthem is?"

At that, Rachel raised her hand, but before Mr. Schue could give her the word, Brittany spoke up.

"It's the bottom of an ant's pants." She said, matter-of-factly.

"So close, babe..." Piper patted her girlfriend's thigh gently. "So close."

"Well, an anthem is an epic song filled with a ground-swell of emotion, that seems bigger than itself – even bigger than the person performing it." Mr. Schue explained, frowning a bit when Sam Evans raised his hand.

"Mr. Schue?" He called, causing everyone to turn to him with a frown when they all started to notice his new style.

"Oh, hey Sam." Mr. Schue said, as Sam stood up to stand in front of everyone. "I didn't even notice your new haircut..."

"Yeah, I've been looking at a new image for my one-man band." Sam explained. "The Justin Bieber Experience."

At that, everyone stopped for a second. Exchanging a look with Mercedes, Piper bit back a laugh as she finally understood Sam's whole attired and new hairstyle. Sam, for whatever reason, wanted to be the new Justin Bieber, apparently. Quinn didn't seem in the least impressed by her boyfriend right now, though.

"You have got to be kidding me." She whispered in disbelief.

"Dude, that haircut makes your mouth look even bigger..." Puck spoke up as some of the kids laughed.

"Let her speak." Coach Sylvester said, surprisingly interested in Sam.

"Laugh all you want, but that kid's an epic talent." Sam argued, trying to get his point across. "And there's a number that I've been working on that I've been meaning to show off. And I think it qualifies as an anthem because... It's just hugely emotional and sums up our generation."

"Alright." Mr. Schue patted Sam in the back, clearly unconvinced still. "Let's hear it buddy."

And so, Sam started to sing, a slowed down version of Justin Bieber's Baby, straight at Quinn who didn't seem to be all that comfortable with the situation at all. When the first verse ended though, when Sam put down his guitar so he could dance around a bit when the speed picked up again, everyone started to enjoy it a bit more, the girls even clapping, singing and dancing along after letting go and admitting that the song was a blast. Maybe a guilty pleasure of some sort, but a blast nonetheless.

When Sam was done, everyone was cheering and even coach Sylvester seemed impressed, leaning forward as she tried very hard to remember the name of the kid standing in front of her, probably.

"I gotta get that girl on my Cheerios..."

"Hey, P." Brittany smiled as she approached Piper the next day. "You look good."

"Thanks." She smiled. "Someone told me once that leg warmers are great pieces to wear in your arms, so I decided to try it."

"Who told you that?" Brittany asked, confused as Piper giggled.

"You did, silly."

"Oh." Brittany smiled then.

Before either of the girls could say anything else, however, a very angry Rachel stormed up to the two of them, turning to look at Brittany with her arms crossed over her chest.

"What are you doing?" She demanded, causing Piper to frown, confused.

"I'm so sorry Rachel." Brittany shrugged. "It just sorta caught on."

"I see that!" Rachel squeaked then, pointing at Piper who was wearing two baby blue leg warmers in her arms. "That is not what we agreed upon. I want my allowance back right now."

"It's already gone." Brittany said, ignoring the way Rachel extended a hand toward her, clearly expecting her money back. "My uncle lost his job and his goat was going hungry. So I spent it on food for the goat. I mean, sort of. The goat just ate the money."

At that, Rachel sighed, exasperated, turning to look at Piper, who just shrugged her shoulders.

"Okay." She decided. "The only way to proceed is for you to come to school dressed up exactly like me."

At that, Piper raised an eyebrow, looking Rachel up and down the same way Brittany was.

"What is that look called?" She asked, as Rachel smiled, showing off her attire.

"Sexy-school-girl-librarian-chic." She announced, causing Piper to frown. "Alright, you'd better get a move on, okay. Kids 'R' Us closes at 6 pm sharp. Go Brittany."

And after patting the blonde in the arm, Rachel skipped away. Turning to look at her girlfriend, Piper smiled a bit.

"So... Are you gonna do what Rachel asked?"

***

"Girl!" Mercedes called, as soon as she walked into the room, running straight up at Piper as she took a seat beside her best friend. "Rachel called me untalented."

"Rachel what?" Piper gasped then, looking from Mercedes to Rachel and noticing how the other girl kept on glaring at the pair of them. "When?"

"I don't know." Mercedes shrugged. "Coach Sylvester told me."

"Wait, coach Sylvester?"

"Yes, she called me in her office because she said she wanted to perform a song for glee club and she wanted some tips on how to be a diva, so she called me, obviously." Mercedes explained, causing Piper to frown a bit. "But she had apparently talked to Rachel beforehand and the little devil had the audacity to say I'm not as talented as she is, can you believe that?"

"Cedes, are you sure that's what happened?" Piper asked then. "I mean, are we really choosing to believe coach Sylvester?"

"Well, I don't know." Mercedes admitted. "But you know me. I already challenged Rachel to a diva-off."

"Really?"

"Yeah. And you're gonna back me up, right?"

"Of course I will." Piper rolled her eyes then, offended with the mere insinuation. "I just don't know if Rachel really said that, because coach Sylvester is not..."

"Sweet Jesus..." Mercedes mumbled, cutting Piper off as she looked at the door. "Who bought tickets to crazy town?"

And following her line of sight, Piper couldn't help but feel her mouth hanging open when she spotted not only Sam Evans, but also Mike, Artie and Puckerman walking into the room in full Bieber costume — Puck even going as far as putting on a wig to get a fringe. As they walked in, Piper noticed how Sam kept his eyes on Quinn and smiled at her, who smiled back, but when she turned to look at the girl, Piper noticed Finn sitting dangerously close to her and cutting daggers at Sam. Frowning a bit, she wondered what was happening there, but before the old and familiar feeling of jealousy could even start creeping up on her, she closed her eyes, deciding not to focus on Quinn anymore.

"Alright." Mr. Schue said, and Piper was about 90% sure she had felt so grateful for hearing the teacher's voice before. "So the guys here are ready to give us their anthem."

"Hey everybody. We are the new and improved The Justin Bieber Experience." Sam said, as he and the three other boys stood proudly in the middle of the room to try and impress the girls. "And we think that this song is an anthem because everything Bieber does is epic."

"Truth!" Artie nodded.

"Anyway, this song, like all the songs I sing, are for my girlfriend Quinn." Sam announced, pointing at the girl as she smiled at him before winking at her and turning to the band instead. "Hit it."

And, honestly, no matter how much Piper didn't like Justin Bieber and how surprisingly jealous she got of Sam by the way Quinn kept her eyes on him during his whole performance of Somebody to love, she couldn't deny it. She really had enjoyed the number.

***

It was the diva-off day and, as Piper stood off to the side with Mercedes, she frowned when coach Sylvester approached the two of them.

"Remember, I want this diva-off to be a bloodbath." She whispered over at Mercedes who glared at Rachel as soon as the girl walked into the room with Brittany who was, in fact, dressed pretty much exactly like Rachel would normally.

"Oh, trust, it's about to go down." Mercedes mumbled.

At that, coach Sylvester nodded before taking a seat. As soon as Piper saw Brittany sitting down, however, she turned back to look at Mercedes.

"Well, good luck." She smiled at her best friend who, surprisingly, smiled right back at her. "Not that you need any."

"Thanks, P." Mercedes chuckled, as Piper placed a quick kiss to her cheek before starting to make her way toward Brittany.

On her way there, however, she did a double take when she noticed Finn wearing the same Bieber-like style clothing Sam and the other boys had been wearing since the day before.

"Why are you dressed like that?" She asked, sitting down on the chair behind his that so happened to be the one beside Brittany's. "I thought that you weren't into the Biebster?"

"I wasn't." He admitted, causing Piper to roll her eyes when he flicked his fake fringe too. "But somebody told me that Justin Bieber's, like, the king of Youtube with over a billion views. An anthem's supposed to appeal to the masses, right, so before I pick my anthem, I was working on my anthem... Look."

A few chairs away from them, Quinn and Sam sat down and when Quinn sent Finn a weirded out look, Piper shook her head, slightly confused by the whole situation.

"Okay guys and gals... And Sue." Mr. Schue announced as he stood in front of the piano where Mercedes and Rachel were, apparently, having a stare down. "It's the moment we've all been waiting for. Our next diva-off. So here they are, sure to give us a fantastic anthem. Mercedes and Rachel! Let's give it up!"

And, as everyone clapped, Piper whooped excitedly, causing Mercedes to send her a smile. That was soon wiped off of her face when Rachel started to talk.

"After much argument, I finally convinced Mercedes that in order to do a proper diva-off, it has to come from the Broadway catalog." She said. "Which, I think, is safe to say that that gives me home field advantage."

"Oh well, you're about to get beat on your own turf." Mercedes sassed, causing Rachel to glare at her before turning to the band.

"Hit it!"

At the start of the song, the two girls kept trying to out-sing one another and, as much as there was tension in the air, the kids couldn't help but jam along because hearing Mercedes Jones and Rachel Berry singing Take me or leave me was definitely not something any of them ever knew they needed up until that point. And toward the end of the song, the two girls realized that two and started to sing with each other which ended up making the song much more enjoyable for everyone and even granted them all a hug between the two divas at the end, as they praised each other.

"Oh my God, that was so great." Mercedes squealed as Rachel laughed. "Great. You kicked my butt."

"No." The girl said, turning to their friends with a smile as Piper chuckled fondly at the interaction. "What about her, what about her?"

"Awesome!" Mr. Schue clapped, along with everyone else.

"Hey!" Coach Sylvester called, suddenly offended. "Where's the hate?"

At that, everyone turned to look at her, slightly confused.

"Not the point of Glee club, Sue."

***

"You look very good, P." Brittany smiled as she walked beside her down the hallways, leaning down to press a quick kiss to her lips after taking a look at her up and down and nodding to herself at the way the Berry-inspired clothes looked on her.

"Thanks, Britt." She smiled, blushing a bit, still not used to receiving compliments like that. "My girlfriend inspired me."

"I thought I had inspired you." Brittany frowned, confused, as Piper just giggled a bit with a roll of her eyes.

Before she could even start to explain the situation to the blonde, however, Rachel walked up to the two of them, once again, glaring directly at Brittany.

"Hey! I need to talk to you." She said, stopping right in front of the couple and forcing them to stop walking. "I want my money back."

"Well, I used it to pay a publicist." Brittany smiled, as Piper frowned.

"What?" She asked, causing the blonde to turn to her with a smile.

"Jacob in Israel posted a photo and this website called The Sartorialist named me The Trendiest Girl in America." She said, rather proud of herself, causing Piper to smile and nod at her in congratulations.

Rachel didn't seem all that impressed, though.

"Brittany..." She sighed heavily. "I'm trying to stage a comeback here."

"Okay, but what exactly are you coming back from?" Brittany asked.

"I-I..."

"Listen Rachel, I'm going to give you some tough love right now." Brittany continued, when Rachel couldn't come up with an answer to her question. "You're not a trendsetter. When people look at you, they don't see what you're wearing. They see a cat getting its temperature taken and then they hear it screaming. I'm really sorry but I have to go. I have an interview with Teen Vogue."

And grabbing Piper by the hand, Brittany tugged her along as the two of them walked away from a very hurt Rachel. Brittany was quick to distract Piper from that fact however as she started telling her all about Lord Tubbington and his gang of street cats again. Piper let her, though, enjoying her voice and her stories and finding herself entertained by it most of the time. As the two of them walked hand in hand and laughing together, they didn't even really notice when they passed by Santana and Quinn — also dressed in some very Rachel-Berry-like clothing — as the two of them watched them go.

"You know, if you keep staring at her, you might burn some holes in her clothes." Santana told Quinn, noticing how her blonde friend couldn't seem to take her eyes off of Piper's legs that she didn't usually show off but that were framed to near perfection in her tight plaid skirt. "Not that you'd complain much about it, though."

"Oh, you're one to talk." Quinn rolled her eyes at her friend, scoffing when Santana gasped lightly. "Don't even try and deny it, Santana. I know."

At that, Santana huffed, leaning beside Quinn against the lockers as the two of them watched Piper and Brittany walking away from them until they took a turn and disappeared from view.

"This is ridiculous." Santana scoffed, annoyed. "We're the hottest pieces of action in this school and here we are, pinning after what we can't have."

"Yeah..." Quinn responded in the same tone. "Yeah, ridiculous."

***

"Hey. We haven't talked much."

At the sound of her voice, Piper sighed a bit, closing her eyes for a second as she tried to gather all the strength she had in her to look away from her painting and toward Quinn and the girl stood beside her canvas with a bashful smile.

"Yeah, we haven't." Piper admitted, cleaning her paintbrush in her towel quietly. "Since the wedding."

"Yeah, since the wedding." Quinn nodded, awkwardly. "Why's that?"

"I don't know." Piper admitted. "You started dating Sam and then I started dating Brittany and we just kind of... Lost each other along the way."

"Right." Quinn nodded, walking around the empty art room as she ran her fingers over a few tables. Piper watched her silently, biting her lip as she reminded herself again and again that she had a girlfriend now. But there was just something about the way Quinn moved... It lured her in like nothing else. "I broke up with Sam, though."

"You broke up with him?" Piper raised an eyebrow at the girl then, sighing when she tensed for a second.

"Yes." She said, causing Piper to shake her head.

"I didn't think you'd lie to me." She said, as Quinn frowned. "I know you kissed Finn on Valentine's week. And not in the booth."

Knowing full well she couldn't properly lie to Piper, Quinn dropped her act then, as she leaned against a desk and looked over to the freckled girl.

"How?"

"You two had mono at the same time." She explained. "And Sam told me all about the gumball story you told him. You saved Finn's life? That was the best you could come up with?"

Quinn looked down for a second, ashamed and feeling like she was on fire under Piper's stare. Sucking in a deep breath, the girl gathered all her courage to lift her eyes again so she could look at Piper again.
