Katherine woke up and turned her head to see a man chanting. With Alaric sitting in the chair.

She slowly sat up as she saw a glass with blood in it. She looked around seeing the man with his hands around the head as he was chanting.

The man finally stop chanting. He backed away from Alaric as Alaric pulled the needle out his arm.

Alaric stood up and turned to Katherine as she slowly stood up.

"Alaric?"

Katherine vamp sped to the door and opened trying to escape on to be slam into a invisible wall.

Alaric walked over to Katherine.

"Zdravei, Katerina."

Katherine slightly whimpered as "Alaric" supped Katherines face with his hands.

"I have miss you."

"Klaus."

Alaric smiles.

The last dance

Season 2 episode 18

Alaric/Klaus opened the closet door and looks at them shirts trying to choose.

"Oh! Who is this guy, safari sam?" He pulls two out and shows Katherine. "Okay. Bad?" Putting one shirt to his chest. "Or badder?" He puts the other to his chest showing her.

"The dark colors suit you better." Katherine says with an annoying tone.

"Oh, thank you, honey. Okay pop quiz. The dagger and white ash are in the Salvatore's possession, correct?" Klaus asks.

"The dagger was used to kill Elijah. You'll find him in the basement of the Salvatore house." Katherine tells him

"Ok, that dagger needs to stay exactly where it is. The last thing I need to do is resurrect Elijah. Ohh, that guy is a buzz kill."

"Don't forget you're on the outs with your girlfriend Jenna." Katherine reminds him

"Right. Elena's aunt. For all the lies about Isobel. What else?"

"That's it." She answers quickly

Alaric/Klaus touches her and she gasp.

"Oh, so jumpy."

"Please just... kill me. I've told you everything that I know."

He bends down to her height. "You see, I believe that you believe that. But what would you not know? What could they be keeping from you? Anything?" He looks into her eyes and compel her. "Tell me."

"They we're trying to see if Bonnie could find a way to kill an original without a dagger."

"Bonnie the best friend and little cousin to Natalie."

Alaric/Klaus sighs. "I thought you said she didn't have her powers anymore."

"She doesn't. Or didn't. I don't know. You kidnapped me, remember? I'm kinda out of the loop." She says

He sighs "Well we'll have to get to the bottom of that."

"Natalie wouldn't let you even if you wanted to. Now please just kill and be done with it."

"And show you kindness? I've searched for you for over 500 years. Your death is going to last at least half of that long." He pulls out a knife. "I want it to take this knife... and step yourself."

She grabs the knife and stabs herself in the leg.

"Now take it out." He instructs

She takes it out. "Now while I'm gonna, I want you to do that over and over again. If you get bored, switch legs."

Katherine sighs. "Where are you going?"

He bend down. "I'm gonna go lay eyes on my precious doppleganger and from what I've heard fierce soulmate."

Alaric/Klaus kisses her on the forehead. "Oh don't look so glum Katerina. The fun is just beginning."

He walks toward the door and grabs his jacket. "Again please." He leaves out the apartment.

Elena sat down at the table as Jeremy got up to leave.

"What's going on?"

"I told him he had to dress up tonight and he got all uptight."

Elena puts her bag down as Dana comes to their table.

"Hey Elena, Bonnie. There you are. Ok. This going to sound freaky, but this totally hot guy ask me to ask you two if you and Natalie are going to the dance tonight."

"Tell him she has a boyfriend and that my cousin wants nothing to do with him." Bonnie tells her.

"They could as least meet him. He'll be at the dance tonight. Look for him. His name is Klaus." Dana says smiling.

Both of them frown as they hear his name. "I'm sorry, what did you just say?"

Dana repeats what she says. "His name Klaus. I know the names stupid but I swear he's hot"

Bonnie starts to look around. "Where is he? Is he here?"

Dana looks at Bonnie confused. "I don't know."

Bonnie looks at Elena. "She's been compelled."

Dana looks at Bonnie. "But he wants to know if Natalie will save him the last dance. How cute is that?"

Both Bonnie and Elena get up and leave. Elena goes to find Stefan and Bonnie calls her cousin telling her to meet at the boarding house.

Natalie is sitting on the couch with Bonnie with a cup of ice in her hand. Bonnie looks at her weird. She could never understand how her cousin just ate ice.

"So we go to the dance, we find him." Damon says walking down the steps.

"Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like." Stefan's states.

"Something tells me he's not going to be 16 and pimply." Damon says sarcastically

"I hope he's good looking." Natalie states

"He could be anywhere at anytime. He compelled somebody at school." Stefan looks at Bonnie and Elena. "I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?"

There a knock on the door And 'Alaric' walks in.

"There you are." Damon says looking at "Alaric"

Alaric closes the door. "Sorry I'm late."

"Hey, I need you to put me and Natalie down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move."

Alaric nods and stands by Stefan.

"I don't even want to go to this stupid dance. I could be at home streaming Law and order: SVU."

Alaric stares at Natalie as he hears her voice. She looks at him weird.

"Ok, so we find him and then what, hmm? What's our plan of attack?"

Bonnie looks at everyone. "Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can Channel. If you can find him, I can kill him."

"Yea don't think I'm not mad at you for going behind my back and channeling 100 witches."

"That's not going to be that easy. I mean he is the biggest baddest vampire around." Alaric tells them.

Natalie laughs. "Wow I never knew you were a ass kisser Alaric."

"Alaric's has a point. I mean, what if he-,"

Damon goes to vamp speed at Bonnie when she put her hand up and send him flying back.

"Well that was impressive."

"I know right. I can teach her more. I'm sure she can hurt him a little more." She says while grinning.

Bonnie speaks before she can say more. "It doesn't matter if he's an original. I can take down anyone who comes at me. I can kill him, Elena. I know I can."

"Why kill him though I mean you know me being his soulmate. What if our souls are connected?" She asks

"Then we'll find a way so you won't die." Bonnie tells her cousin

"Ah, you're right. This witch is all juiced up and aiming to kill." He says closing the closet door

"That's terrible." Katherine says not caring

'"We're gonna have to kill her, Maddox."

"You can't kill her. Natalie will never forgive you for killing Bonnie. We wouldn't want that now would we?"

He ignores Katherine. "Do you think this Alaric guy has anything vintage." He opens a dressers and looks through it and sees a hidden part. He opens it. "Cross bows, wooden bullets and automatics?" He pulls the cross bow out at turns around. "Who is this guy, again?"

"He's the local vampire hunter." Katherine tells him.

"Ahh. Well, explains the clothing." He throws the crossbow down.

"All I could find. Guy likes his bourbon." Maddox says handing him the glass

Alaric/Klaus grabs the glass. "I knew there was something about him I liked." He takes a sip and put the glass down. "There's a high school dance and I'm gonna need you to take out witch bitch."

"If she had that much power, she can sense me coming from a mile away. Her cousin can too. She's already powerful with being an hybrid. I won't be able to get near her. You have to do it." Maddox explains

"In this body? I'm a haggard history teacher. She can easily hurt me. I mean not me, Klaus me, but you know what I mean."

"No witch could handle channeling that much power. It'll kill her. It would kill me. You just have to make her use it." He tells Klaus

"You mean like provoking her to death?" Klaus asks

"Won't take long. Just keep attacking her until it kill her. His body, Alaric's, will last longer than hers will."

"How? He's human." Klaus asked confused

"I can help in that department. I can do a spell to protect you." Maddox says with confidence

Katherine laughs at the conversation.

Klaus turns to her. "Ands what so funny Katerina?"

"The fact that you think Natalie will let you get away with killing Bonnie. One she will not forgive you and she will find a way to kill you even if it kills her. She knows a lot more than you think."

Natalie sighs as she looks at herself in her mirror.

She really didn't want to go to this dance. She wanted to watch her eat junk food and watch her crime shows but she couldn't. She knew what channeling does witches mean.

She technically couldn't stop Bonnie because she was so hellbent on keeping Elena safe that she didn't care about dying herself. So Natalie had to be there for her.

She had already placed a protection spell on her because she had a feeling something was going to happen.

Sighing she walks downstairs and grabs her key. Locking the door behind her she gets in her car and makes her way to the dance.

Natalie walks to the entrance at the same as Damon. They see Bonnie and Jeremy hugging. Bonnie looks up and sees Damon and Natalie.

"Damon. Natalie." Bonnie says

"Evening." Damon says walking into the school

Elena and Stefan comes and greet Bonnie and Jeremy.

"Guys ready to do this?"

They all walk into the dance to see Dana at the mic.

"Thanks for being here everybody." Everyone starts clapping. "We have a special shout out tonight. This is for Elena and Natalie. From Klaus."

Everyone claps. Alaric smiles to him self while the Elena is worried, Stefan is confused and Damon is unamused. Well Natalie is just curious.

"That was a lame, cheap shot. He's just trying to bait us." Damon tells them

"I know everyone here." Elena says while looking around

Natalie shrugs her shoulders. "Well I don't so."

"Maybe he's not here. Just wants us to believe that he is." Stefan tells her

"It's a party people. Blend. Let him come to us." Damon says

"Good idea." Bonnie drags Jeremy to the dance floor as he protested.

"There's ric. I'll be back."

"I'm coming don't want to be a third wheel." Natalie said looking between Elena and Stefan.

They walk through the crowd and walk to Alaric.

Alaric exhales. "Special dedication, huh? This guys a little twisted."

"I'm not impressed." Damon says unamused

Klaus/ Alaric looks at him. "No?"

"I mean obviously he didn't do anything out of whack."

"Oh."

Damon walks off and he turns to Natalie.

"So what did you think."

Natalie could feel Alaric was more powerful. She also felt connected to him for some reason which only meant one thing. So she played along.

"Eh. Could've did better. I though for an thousand year old vampire he could have did something more than this." She tells him

"And what could he have done?" He asks looking in her eyes trying to search for something

She pats him in the chest. "I'm sure you know Klaus."

He grabs her wrist. "Beauty and smart. How I did I give it away?"

"I felt something more powerful being within your presence and felt connected. I only been around Alaric twice and I never felt this so." She explains pulling her wrist from his hand.

"Well love, ashamed we had to meet when I'm not in my regular body."

"Yes it is I would really like to see what you look like." She then walk off and looks around the dance. She sees Elena and Stefan dancing. Bonnie and Jeremy. Damon dancing with a few girls. She then sees Stefan twirl Elena into Damon arms.

She sighed and grabbed a random boy hand and started dancing with him.

Damon walked up to Jeremy and Bonnie. He asked to dance with Bonnie she silently nod and Jeremy walked away.

"You heard Jeremy and me talking, didn't you?" She asks as they start to dance

"Is it true?"

"Yes."

Damon spins her around so she facing forward. "The part about you having a 50-50 shot of surviving? Is that true?"

"He was upset. I didn't want him to worry."

"So you lay it all on the like for Elena, no matter what." He asks spinning her again.

"No matter what and Natalie doesn't like that." She sighs

"Well this isn't her choice." Damon states

"It's not but still she cares for me. You can't tell her."

"Your secrets safe with me, but I mean... with all that power, is there no way to increase your odds?" He asks her

She smiles "Careful Damon. I might start to think you actually care."

"Well we wouldn't want that." He spins her out and he walks away.

Natalie makes a sound of annoyance as she's getting dragged by Elena. She jerks her hand away. Before she can leave she sees Bonnie is here as well.

"How could you not tell me?" Elena questions

Bonnie sighs. "Cause I knew how'd you react.."

Elena shakes her head. "No. No way it's not an option."

"It's our only option." Bonnie says firmly

"Then we'll find another way okay? Bonnie your not dying to save my life." Elena tells her

"I have the power to save you! If I don't use it and something happens, that would kill me more." Bonnie explains

"I can't let you." Elena looks around shaking her head

"Just answer one question. If the situation was reversed, would you do it for me?" Bonnie asks her

Elena looked at Bonnie having tears in her eyes.

"So you know why I have to." Bonnie says softly

"No. No!" Elena states firmly

Natalie was angry. She was on the verge of crying. "Really Bonnie. You don't have to do this. We can find another way of taking down Klaus. You dying isn't the options. What if I can't handle you dying! You're the only thing I have close to family other than Caroline, Jeremy, and Jenna."

"I'm sorry Natalie."

Natalie look at Bonnie before making her way back into the school. She goes straight the the bathroom.

She walks in and grabs a paper towel and wipe her eyes so she doesn't mess up her make up.

She takes a couple deep breath before hearing the bathroom door open. She turns and see 'Alaric'.

She looks at him. "Don't tell me you're a pervert coming into what I know is the girls bathroom."

Alaric/Klaus laughs. "Don't worry love I'm not but I can't have you messing up my plans."

He opens his hand to blow something in her face but she grabs his wrist and twist it. Still having a hold on his wrist she switches there positions. Throwing him in the walls. She quickly runs out the bathroom before he can get to her.

Running she finds Damon.

"Hey wait! Where are you going?"

"To find bonnie and Elena. Klaus had some kids beat Jeremy up as a distraction."

"Klaus is in Alaric body he just tried to knock me out. He's probably already with them." She says frantically

"Well let's go then." They both run to find them when they see Bonnie closing the door with magic.

"What happened?" Damon asks

"Kla- Klaus is in Alaric body." Elena stutters

He points at Natalie: "Yea I know Natalie over here just told me."

Damon looks to Elena. "Go find Stefan. Now."

"Ok."

"Can you kill him?"

"He's got some kind of protection spell on him." Bonnie explains

"You have the power of a hundred witches. Break it." Damon says

"I'm trying! If I kill Alaric, he'll just possess someone else. He knows I have my powers Damon. He's trying to kill me." Bonnie practically yells

"No. Klaus does not get to win tonight, no way. You still willing to do whatever it takes to kill him." Damon says firmly

"No! She's not getting her self killed Damon. And you better not even think about it Bonnie. You're not going to keep using my cousin because you want Klaus dead."

"I'm sorry Natalie but I have to do it."

Bonnie leaves and Natalie goes after her but Damon holds her back.

"Damon. Let me go!" She starts to struggle in his grip. Even with her werewolf side she still couldn't get out. She twist her wrist breaking Damon fingers. She runs after bonnie using her werewolf side.

Bonnie walks down the hall looking for Alaric. She turns and sees him in the cafeteria. Natalie close behind her walks in on Bonnie wiping her nose.

"Bonnie come on he's going to kill you he's doing it on purpose." She goes to use her magic to but bonnie sees Elena and Stefan coming.

Bonnie uses her magic and throws Natalie gently and shuts the door. Natalie try's to open it with her magic but nothing works. She bangs on the door with tears in her eyes. She knew Bonnie was going to live but she didn't ever want to see her cousin die even if it was for a short time.

Bonnie continue to torture Alaric when she looks back at Natalie and mouths "I love you," before dropping dead.

Natalie runs to Bonnie body and put her head in her lap. Sobbing she runs her hand through bonnies hair. Drowning out Elena cries she stares at nothing while crying.

Coming back she looks at Stefan and Damon. Even if she knew bonnie wasn't dead she was still angry.

"Stefan get Elena out of here. I'll deal with the body."

Natalie scoffed. "Deal with it? This is your fault. Because you didn't want Klaus to win. You use my cousin like a toy and then toss her to the side when done."

Natalie closes bonnie eyes before Damon pics her up and bring her to his car. He puts her in the back seat before Jeremy comes.

"Damon! Hey I got your message. I can't find anyone. Where's Elena! Where's bonnie?"

Jeremy looks between Damon and Natalie.

"We need to have a little talk."
