"Alright boys, it's time for dinner." My mom yelled and Aidan ran into the kitchen and left me in the living room. Well damn. Love you too Aidan.

"Thanks for cooking dinner mom." I kissed her cheek while she smiled.

"As long as I get to see my grandson, I'll do anything." I chuckled and say Aidan sitting in his booster seat like a big boy.

"Daddy, where's mommy?" He asked.

"Mommy's on a trip. She'll be back soon though." He nodded and looked down. Poor baby.

I sat next to him and rubbed his fragile little head.

"Hey super daddy, I need help." My mom yelled. I chuckled and kissed Aidan's forehead.

"Daddy will be right back." He nodded once again and I got up and walked over to my mother.

"Grab the plates, cup, silverware, napkins, and set of the table please." She said, more like demanded.

"Yes sir." I saluted.

I helped set up the table and Aidan was getting very excited.

"What grandma make?" He asked excitedly.

"A surprise." I popped out happy.

"A surprise, yay." He clapped his hands which earned him a laugh from me.

After we were done fooling around, grandma came over and started putting food on our plates.

"Woah mom, easy on the food. That's like a volcano." I said. Literally, my plate has a huge mountain of spaghetti.

"Ashton, that's half you gotta eat. You're a dad now. You have to eat more cause with all the stress that is being put on you, that can cause weight loss." I rolled my reyes. My mom trying to fatten me up.

"I would really like to keep my babes." She furrowed her eyebrows and I rolled my shirt up. Revealing my six pack.

"Oh whatever Ashton." She took more than half of the pile and put it back in the pot.

"Thanks." I said and we started eating. Aidan was already eating.

"Thank again mom." I said. I looked at Aidan and saw him happy. Just happy.

"Ashton, look at me." I looked at her in the eyes. "I love you. And I don't mind making dinner. And stop worrying. Aidan just fine. He's in good hands. You're a perfect father. Even if you are eighteen. A teenage father has more experience in the future." No matter how cheesy that sounded, she's my mother.

"Cheesy, but I love you too. It's just, what if Charlie won't let me continue seeing him? It will crush me, it can crush Aidan." A sad look took over my face. I don't want to let go.

"When she comes back and sees how happy Aidan is with you around, I bet she'll keep you around." My mom kissed my forehead and did the dishes.

"Daddy?" Aidan said while asking for me to pick him up.

"Yes buddy?" I asked while lifting him in my arms.

"Do you love mommy?" This kid is just bulging with questions. He must have his mothers brain.

"I don't know Aidan." I said honestly. I did love her, but that was a long time ago. Years past by and I slowly got over Charlie. Eventually I got over her, but she was still in my heart.

He face came to a sad frown. I started tickling him though and the smile reappeared on that little cute face. He squealed in delight.

"But I love you." I laughed and soon my mom came in the room.

"Alright Ashton. He has to get ready for bed. It's already nine." I pouted and so did Aidan. We did the same thing and have her the puppy eyes.

"But I don't wanna go to bed." I pouted.

"Don't teach Aidan bad manners." Come on Aidan. Grandma is a good person and does things correctly." She glared and me which made me chuckle.

"No grandma, I love my daddy." Suddenly he jumped on me and started laughing.

"I know you love your daddy, but daddy needs sleep too." No I don't. I'm done with school, I have no work until another two weeks.

"Can't he sleep with me grandma?

Cause he loves me to much. And daddy wants him with him." I smirked and said in a baby voice.

"Ya grandma, can I sweep with daddy?" Aidan copied. That's my boy, beg it out of her.

"Ugh, fine. But you need your pjs and brush your teeth." He nodded an ran to his room.

"So, when's Charlie coming back?" My mom asked.

"In about two in a half months." I said.

"College tour I'm guessing." She sat on my bed.

"Ya, in France." Suddenly my phone started ringing. Must be Charlie.

"Hey, I hope I'm not late. I knows it's like nine right now but it's four in the afternoon for me." Wow, seven hour time difference.

"No, Aidan's still up. The little monster isn't tired." I heard a giggle come from her.

"Can I talk to him please." Why would she ask that? It's her son too. Whatever.

"Of course, hold on." I told her.

"Aidan, daddy's gonna find you." I heard Ashton on the phone, trying to find Aidan. "Mommy's on the phone." I heard a bunch of squeals.

"Is it really mommy daddy?" I heard my son say daddy with so much excitement.

"Yes, now come here." I heard a lot on shuffling, then a voice.

"Mommy!" Aidan squealed through the phone. This made me smile.

"Yes baby, this mommy." He's so happy. Probably because he's with his dad.

"I miss you mommy." This broke my heart knowing he missed me, but also warmed my heart knowing that he cares so much.

"I miss you too buddy. Do you like living with daddy?" I asked. It sure seems like it.

"Ya, daddy awesome. Grandma here too." Grandma? Wait a minute.

"What grandma?" I was a little confused an lost. Aidan hasn't seen my mom in awhile.

"Daddy mom." How could I be so stupid? Aidan's mom lives around there. Of course he would tell his mother.

"Oh ok, what did you do today." I need to have a word with Ashton after me and Aidan's conversation.

"Play." Aidan squealed. He sure squeals a lot. He didn't have this much fun when he's with me. Of course we would have fun, but he seems so happy.

"Oh that sound like fun. Well I love you baby." I said.

"Love you too mommy. You want daddy?" He tried saying.

"Yes baby." I heard the phone being pasted.

"Hey." I heard Ashton's deep voice.

"Hi, so everything's going ok?" I'm a worried mother. Don't judge.

"Everything's going great. We're having the time of our lives and just fun stuff. I told my mother about Aidan awhile back, but she never met him. I figured she should because it's her grandson after all." Ashton basically explained everything I was gonna ask.

"Alright, I'm just worried. I miss him so much." A tear came down my cheek but I wiped it right away.

"He missed you too. Sometimes when we're just lounging around or at the store, he asks where you are and when you're coming home." That's all I need to know. That my Aidan misses me.

"Thanks Ashton." Is all I said before I hung up. I had no other words.

I started crying. Should I go home right now? Just forget about college?

No, you can't, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. And there's also Hayden.

I chuckle. Just thinking about Hayden. Makes me smile.

But what would happen if I did get to go here? Would I have to move here? Bring Aidan with me? Or leave him with Ashton for like three to four years. Obviously visit on holidays and summer break. But I need more.

I want to become a nurse. A surgeon at most. But that takes years to study.

I don't know what I want anymore.

Can I have wishes. I wish I could go to this college but get to be able to see my son everyday.

Do I even want Ashton in Aidan's life?

I mean, of course I do. He's his father. I can't take that away from him.

Would it be easier if I move here with Aidan, and maybe Hayden. Maybe us three can start a life together.

Would Hayden want to stay with me. I mean, we're not even a couple and in already talking about staring a life with him.

What would Ashton think? Oh god.

What am I gonna do.

I like Hayden. Like, a lot. He's sweet, kind, and has been through what I have.

All I really need are my wishes to come true.

I wish...
