Special Guests: Mom's Parents
Grandma and Grandpa came over for a visit because they live out of town and we don't see them often.
"So," said Grandma, "Got a boyfriend yet?"
"No," I responded with a sigh.
"What about that boy your mom was talking about?"
"Just a friend," I responded with another sigh.
"Got a girlfriend?" Grandpa asked. "Because that's okay, too."
"Yes, I have many female friends, Grandpa, and they're great, thanks for asking."
"What about your sister?" asked Grandma.
Just a side note, at the time I was 17 and Little Sister was 14.
"Yeah, when she was 10, she 'dated'" I air quoted, "a guy, but because she was so young, Mom and I had to go with her."
"So, your 10 year old sister had a boyfriend and they went out on dates with you?" she asked, to which I nodded. "But who was your date?"
I thought for a moment and responded with a straight face, "Mom."

The Heart Grows
Dungeon games? Yeah, they're a good way to waste a few hours. The trick is to know the map and plan appropriately. Of course, it doesn't matter if you get beaten. You revise your plan for that map and do a bit better next time. Man, it'd really suck to wake up as a dungeon heart in a fantasy world you know nothing about, barely able to even work out how to control your dungeon. Lucky that wouldn't happen to anybody, huh? What with only having one chance at getting things right, you'd have to plan extra-defensive. This story should be getting chapters published weekly. Strong points What you'll get from this novel is the following (read with overly enthusiastic salesman-voice) : • An ending! I'll complete it, no matter what. Well, not "no matter what", but as long as I don't unexpectedly end, this novel won't either! • Good grammar! Might not be perfect, but it's definitely good enough to not detract from the story in the slightest. I'll also fix any reported mistakes as soon as possible, be they grammatical, syntactical or just inconsistencies. • No plot-armor! Or plot-weapons! Or plot-... potions? And no plot-holes! If you see some, it's most likely information that is being witheld for future revelations! But in the (hopefully) very unlikely case of such a vile beast being encountered, please inform me immediately and I'll see to slaying it without grace! It will be mostly about discovering the wonders of this new world and how it became like that, all while trying to survive. So there will be enough action nonetheless! • Humor! Sometimes dark, sometimes light, always at the worst moment! • Constructive critics, welcome! Destructive critics, nope... I can handle criticism though, so don't go easy on me!
