"What, Mother? Am I embarrassing you?" I said, expecting a snarky comment.
"Only every moment you're awake, dear."
"Ha! Gotcha!" I said as I went to my phone.
"You're pissing me off, kid."
"Then just ignore me, like you usually do." I looked at her expectantly, waiting for another comment.
She smirked and said, "I was going to say something. But I don't need more of my jokes on there. I don't need other moms stealing my ideas."
