♡Anime: Haikyuu♡

"Look at my little chibi-chan. So cute when they're sleeping." You feel yourself slowly stir awake as you feel someone's hand brushing your hair gently. Your eyes slowly flutter open and you're immediately greeted by Kuroo's dark eyes.

"Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to wake you chibi-chan." Kuroo says in a raspy morning voice that you still haven't gotten used to. It's almost as if he's trying to seduce you without ever really trying to.

"What time is it?" You ask still half asleep as Kuroo continues to play with your hair. The relaxing action prompts you to close your eyes and silently savour the attention you're receiving. You know the two of you don't have that much time left. You want to savour every second that you're together.

"Don't worry, we still have a few minutes. Come closer." Kuroo says as he wraps his arms around you and pulls you into his arms. He rests his chin on your head as you wrap your arms around his firm torso.

"I want to stay." You whisper as Kuroo squeezes you tighter making you do the same. He places a soft kiss on your forehead before looking down at you tenderly.

"I know you do baby, I want you to stay too. Let's just enjoy the time we have left alright?" Kuroo says as you nod and bury your head into his chest. You listen to the gentle thudding of his heartbeat and feel a smile lift your lips.

There's so much about Kuroo that makes him the perfect partner. He's smart, thoughtful, caring, athletic, and motivating. Not to mention playful and has exceptional bedroom awareness and expertise.

The only problem is...

"Chibi-chan, you need to wake up now." You hear Kuroo say softly, but you pretend to have already fallen back asleep. You don't want to let him go, not yet. You hear Kuroo chuckle softly as he kisses your forehead once more.

"I know you don't want to go, but you have real responsibilities that you need to take care of chibi-chan." Kuroo continues as you pout and shake your head.

"No. I want to stay with you all day, I don't want to wake up." You declare as you feel the warmth of Kuroo's arms leave you as he sits up in the bed. You begrudgingly do the same as Kuroo gets out of bed and walks over to the window.

"Don't worry chibi-chan. I'll be right here waiting for you tonight as always. So wake up and have a great day alright?" Kuroo says as he pulls the blinds open making you wince at the sudden light.

You can feel your brain slowly begin to pull you out of the dream and back into reality. Before that happens you quickly jump out of bed and wrap your arms around Kuroo one last time. His strong arms hold you just as tightly making your heart yearn for him.

"I love you." You whisper as the room around you begins to disappear.

"I love you too chibi-chan. See you tonight," You hear Kuroo's words before slowly opening your eyes and finding yourself in your bedroom. You pout slightly and look at the time. You're awake one minute earlier than your alarm was set for. Even in a dream, Kuroo is still considerate enough to make sure you wake up with enough time to get ready.

"If only he were real." You mutter to yourself before crawling out of bed and starting your day 😭
