It was around 1931 they had already lived together for around 4 years, it was very weird not to see Esme with Athena it was like she was protecting her from everything, one morning Esme wanted to hunt and Athena hunted the night before so she went to the forest, and Carlisle was working in the hospital, that day Thena was practicing many of her gifts in the backyard because in her room she can break her hole room because its made of ice, she wanted to know and how extended was the control of her power

In the middle of her practice she smell another vampire coming into their house and it was a scent she didn't know, and when it was on her radar she copy a new gift to read minds, at that moment she put a shield in her head to stop the other person to read her mind she quickly goes to the interior of the house in alert if it was needed to kill someone and wait, she could hear his thoughts he was looking for Carlisle and Esme, but neither of them told her about someone coming today. Edward could smell the other two vampires but there was someone else he couldn't hear the thoughts of that person when he stops in the door he knocks and waits. When the door was open he could see a blonde vampire with golden eyes, he didn't know that there was someone new in the coven.

Athena saw a vampire with red eyes, bronze hair, tall and with a painful expression, she wasn't impressed at all, and she could hear his thoughts about who was her, and the new person in the coven, he face came blank and her eyes became dangerous lethal even, and that was something Edward could notice and the aura of power and respect around her it was intimidating she was someone he shouldn't mess, but of course, it was something he was not going to admit.

-Who in hell are you? And what are you doing here? -her voice came like daggers to him

-And who are you? And what happens with Carlisle and Esme? -he asked in a harsh tone- Pain- she said and Edward in less than a second was on his knees screaming in pain, he could see that he made her mad, a moment later she stopped- I'm going to ask again and if you don't tell me what are you doing here I'm going to rip your head off- while Edward was still on the floor he saw that she was ready to kill him until they heard Esme coming, it was not a nice view, she saw her daughter in front of his son ready to kill him in the spot and well his son had a face that shows how scare was he of her.

-Honey what happen here? -she said speeding to them to know what happen

-He came barking questions about you two- it was the only answer that she had from her- with that she already can imagine, Esme in that time learn that she had a bad attitude to the ones she doesn't like- Dear he is Edward the other vampire that Carlisle and I told you about time ago- Esme said with a small smile, the look that Athena had didn't change a thing she was almost sure to kill him it's not like it she cares, but then she thought about them and that he was her first adopted son, so she just move aside while maintaining eye contact with him, he was in a very long time scare for his life, he doesn't know where or how she came here, she was very different she was cold, were Esme and Carlisle were like the sun.

-Come in son, Carlisle should be here at any minute- Edward nod his head and follow Esme through the house, he could see photos of the three together smiling well the girl just a little, he also saw decorations of ice, he was surprised this house was very different from the other that they live before it was more colorful and happier, they went to sit in the living room it was very nice with space, natural light and a lot of plants and it had a door that you can go out to the backyard

-Edward what a surprise, it's nice seeing you, what I can help you with?-he said with a smile

-Like a said to Esme I would like to come back with you, to the coven, only if you accept me back- Carlisle smiled fondly- Of course son, this is always going to be your home, I think you already meet your new sister, I hope she didn't do anything too harsh- he said chuckling softly he can imagine her welcome to him and to see the face that she has at this moment he can only thank God that she didn't kill him

-And what story are we going to use? -he asks with curiosity

For two years they tried to keep calm, they had a love-hate relationship, with the months together in the house they learn that they like the music so sometimes Edward play the piano and Thena sing for them, the majority of the time they tried not to be in each other's way, Edward had a lot of ideas of her, at the beginning he was thinking that she made something with them but then he saw her help Esme wit the garden and the kitchen also around the house helping with the cleaning, he also saw her pay attention to Carlisle when he was telling them about his day at the hospital so he calms down a bit, one day he commented the Volturi's he didn't even finish the sentence and he was on his knees begging to stop the pain, she was breaking his skin little by little and that was one of the few days that he heard her voice threatening to end his life if he make a comment again about them, she thought that he was egocentric that just because he can read minds he is better than anyone or wiser when she was way older than him and that he was ungrateful with both Esme and Carlisle because he was always mopping around for being alone and what he is, and with Esme because he didnt appreciate the love that she gave him, she understood that he had a mother and all that but the only thing he could be it was being nice with them, and not to forget that she finding him exasperating when he got out the only thing he talk about it was how a girl was so superfecial and talking crap about her, thats why Athena did not go out much only with Esme or only if was necessary. Also, she wrote a letter to her family telling them about everything that was going on with her, the Volturi knew first of Edward coming back thanks to her, and the twins weren't happy with him around her sister, Aro, of course, knew about his gift it was intriguing but he was not worried because her daughter has already his gift in her collection.

One night Esme, Athena, and Edward were in the house, it was late and it was very weird because they knew Carlisle was never late, but then they smelled blood they run to the hall of their house

They saw a blonde girl covered in blood, Edward wasn't happy about it he knew who she was, Esme and Athena just saw her with sad eyes her body they could already imagine what happens and Athena reading Edwards's mind knew that this was Rosalie Hale the girl that he dislikes... Carlisle left Rosalie in a bed in his medic room Athena took care of Rosalie and got out the blood and dress her in a beautiful dress, while doing this in the living room was Edward yelling at Carlisle about how could not stand her shallow and self-absorbed mind, and Carlisle telling him that maybe she was her mate, with that happening in the other room Athena had a good feeling with the girl so she starts talking with her

-Hello Rosalie, my name is Athena but you can call me Thena if you like, I know that this is not easy for you but I'm here for you, and I'm going to stay here with you the whole transition- she was reading her mind so she starts talking more- I know that you are confused but you are going to be a vampire-like us, also don't pay attention to him, I don't like him by the way just like you- she giggled- you know you are pretty beautiful you look like a model, I think you are right to have your ego high don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you know we look alike we both have blonde hair, of course, your way taller than me I'm very short even for the age that I supposed that I have, I hope that we get along, also you need to know Esme she is very lovely with us we take care of the garden or I sing to her, oh oh oh!!, I know I'm going to sing you a song- so she did- when she ends she look at her and told her- I hope that you want to stay with us Rosalie

While she was talking and singing for her for the three days her thoughts of Rosalie were full of love, affection, and appreciation for the girl especially for staying with her in all that painful path she was feeling, for not having judged her, and for having her patience, she spoke lovingly to her as if they had known each other for a lifetime, the others had a shocked face they known her for years now and they never listen to her talking as much as she was doing with the soon new family member.

When the three days ended and the transition was ending, Athena was excited to know Rosalie better, when her heart stop the other members were in the room in a second, Rosalie woke up to see so much better and hear things, then she remember Thena telling her about her change when she notices the four people she could see a lady with a loving smile, also Dr. Cullen, the guy that Thena told her about, and the last person Athena she was smiling toward her so she smiled back, Carlisle saw the interaction so he asked Athena to help her hunt, so the both of them went when they finished they started to know each other, but of course, Rosalie knew somethings about her

-You know when I heard what Edward said about me it would be a lot worse just being alone with that pain, but you were there so thank you, you can call me Rose if you want- she said with a smile

-Thank you, Rose, I know that you still have questions, but because Carlisle is the leader it would be easier if he told you about anything else, I also know that you want to take revenge and if you want I can come with you, just for you not to be alone- at that moment Rose knew she was never going to be alone thanks to her, the smiles that she had for her they were unique and just for her

Later Rosalie wanted to take revenge so she tell Carlisle and told him that when she finished she wanted to stay with them, he accept, Athena told him that she was going with her they were happy that she has now someone she can relate to more in the family, that night he explains everything to Rose about the rules, he also told her about that she can not have a baby, she was sad because that was something that she wanted but it wasn't that strong that sadness, Thena squeeze her hand in support, the next day both blonde girls left to do their work, it took them around a week or two to take her revenge with the help of Thena, she avenges her death by killing and torturing Royce's friends one at a time, of course, Thena help her with that part for her it was nice to torture someone again it had been too long for her. Having saved Royce for last, Rosalie donned a bridal gown for dramatic effect and found him locked in a windowless room with a thick, vault-like door guarded by two men. Killing the guards, Rosalie entered the room where she tortured Royce to death. Though she killed seven men, she was very careful to not spill even the smallest drop of their blood, knowing that she wouldn't be able to resist and repulsed by the idea of having any part of them inside her.

In those two weeks they became way closer, Rosalie knew about her being part of the Volturi and her twin brother and sister of course she also told her about how they weren't related by blood but they were like three drops of water, they create a bond that no one had and everyone could see it when they get home again they had to live New York they couldn't know that Rose was alive, so they left and make way to Tennessee.
