《You're the guy my dad never shut up about? | S. Rogers [1]》11. Bad discussions

So many long and complicated words, Galilea has absolutely no idea what they're talking about. She sat down across from Steve and tried to understand what her brother is talking about.
"It's good to meet you Doctor Banner. Your work on anti electronical collisions is unparalleled, and I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn to an enormous green rage monster" Way to go Tony. Way to go. Doctor Banner looked uncomfortable.
"Thanks" he said uncomfortable.
Galilea then saw an old friend walk in. Well, if one considers Nick Fury to be a friend, then yes.
"Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube, I was hoping you would join him" he told Tony.
"Nicki! Last time I saw you was in California!" Gali smiled. He gave her a look "Okay then" She took her phone out and began to play candy crush, completely zoning out what the group is saying. What brought her back was Nick saying,
"Personal flying monkeys!"
"Monkeys? I do not understand" Thor said confused.
"I do!" Steve exclaimed "I understood a reference" Happy that he knew something for once. Tony rolled his eyes, and Gali smiled. That's cute.
Tony turned to Dr. Banner. "Shall we play, Doctor?"
"This way sir" Banner motioned to a door and they left, leaving Gali with the rest of the team.
Just as they left the room, the guy that Tony pointed out for playing Galaga, resumed on playing. Gali rolled her eyes. Who am I kidding? I would be doing the same thing if I weren't here.
"Stark!" Fury called out.
"Which one?" Gali looked up from her phone. Thor looked at her in confusion.
"There is another one?" He asked.
"Yes, 'there is another one'" She said in his accent "Why do you say it like its a bad thing? I'm the other Stark" She pointed to herself.
"Are you his daughter?" He asked.
"God no" Gali furiously shook her head. Daughter? I wouldn't want to picture Tony as a dad. I don't even know how he would be like one "I'm his sister"
"Which is why, you being his sister, I want you to look over him" Fury said. Look over him? I'm not his babysitter. She gave Fury a confused look.
"Why?"
He opened his mouth to say something but she spoke up "Enough said. I think we all know why Tony needs a babysitter. I nominate Natasha for this task" she pointed at her friend. She gave her a 'hell no' look.
"Okay, I nominate Phil" She pointed at him. He pressed his lips together and shook his head.
"Then I nominate-"
"No more nominations Stark. He's your brother, your responsibility" Fury stated. Well this sucks.
"Do I get paid?" Gali joked. Fury looked like he was about to strangle her with his eyepatch. She jumped out of the chair and held her hands up to calm him down.
"Relax, you know I'm just playing around" he kept glaring at her. "Nick, relax" She used compulsion. He started to relax but then snapped out and snapped at her again.
"Use that one more time on me and I'll personally throw you in the cell with Loki"
"Well maybe that way I could get him to tell me where the Tesseract is" she mumbled. Steve heard what she said and asked her to repeat herself. Even tho he clearly heard it.
"I said nothing" she crossed her arms across her chest and turned away.
"You said you could get Loki to tell us where the Tesseract is" Steve said. Fury turned to her.

"No I didn't"
"Is it true, Stark?" Fury asked.
"Wha-wha- he's clearly mishearing things. He probably still has ice in his ears. Weren't the hair dryers enough when you defrosted him?" She asked. Oh my god, I'm turning into Tony.
"Okay I might've said that" she admitted. "But I'm not going to talk to him. I'm babysitting, remember?" She smirked.
She got out of the chair and made her way out, about to go wherever her brother went, when she felt someone grab her arms and dragged her in another direction. She looked back and saw Phil.
"Why Phil, why?" She dramatically asked.
"Don't mess with your brother" he said in a way that he sounds like he just gave up. Give up on what?
"Geez, you sound like my dad" Gali grumbled. She saw him smile.
Sometimes she feel like Phil is her dad. He acts like one. When she first met him he always wanted to make sure that she was okay, and that she had everything she needs. When she was in college, he called her once a week to check up on her. He's a very nice and caring person, and he can tells jokes. Makes her laugh out loud every time he makes a joke.
They walked down some corridors, passed multiple rooms and she spotted Tony, Bruce and Steve in one of the rooms, talking. Gali walked straight in there, Phil right behind her.
"Heyo" She smiled. They turned to look at her and Steve gave her a confused look.
"Aren't you suppose to be with Loki?" He asked. Tony looked at him confused.
"Technically, I was going to babysit Tony, but thanks to you I'm now on Loki duty" Gali grumbled.
"Loki duty?" Tony asked.
"They want me to talk to him" Galilea saw that Tony has a small plastic bag in his hand. She grabbed it and saw that there's blueberries in there. She grabbed some and handed him the bag.
"Laters!" She waved at them. Phil took Gali to where they have Loki. He swiped his card and the door slid open. They walked in and Loki is pacing in a big glass cage.
"You're not actually putting me in there with him" she slowly said.
"No" they made their way up to the cage and Loki spotted them. He smirked.
"I was getting quite lonely here" he said in his dark British voice.
"We're not here to be your friends" Phil said to Loki. "I have to go, I trust you can handle him" Phil said to the girl. She nodded. He smiled a small smile and left the room. Leaving her alone with Loki. Great.
Galilea was exhausted by the time she walked out of Loki's private room. He's so mean, and hurtful. No, he's frustrating. How did Thor put up with him? Like me, how do I put up with Tony? I bet everyone that I meet ask themselves that. Well I have too, he's my older brother after all.
It was a total loss with Loki. He didn't say anything, just threw the bad stuff from her past in her face.
Gali made her way back to the bridge and sat at the glass table. She sat on a chair and rested her head on the cool glass. She closed her eyes for a few moments, or that's what she thought because she was woken up by Fury's loud voice.
"Stark!"
"Who? Where? What? Aaaah-" her head flew up, she pushed herself away from the table, and fell with the chair with a loud thud.

"Ow" She grabbed the back of her head as sat up on the floor. She looked up and saw Fury looking down at her in amusement. "How long was I asleep?" She stood up and put the chair back in its place.
"About 40 minutes" he replied. Gali sighed and passed a hand through her messy dark brown hair.
"Do you need something?" She asked.
"Not really, no" The tiniest hint of a smile on his lips. I see how it is. He walked away.
Galilea walked around the bridge for about ten minutes before making her way to where Tony is hanging out. As she was approaching the room, she heard people arguing.
Oh god, what are they arguing? Did Tony start it? Did he break something? Threatened an agent?
She was just outside the room when she heard Thor say,
"My people want nothing but peace with your planet" Well I guess it's not about Tony. But what are they talking about?
"But you're not the only people out there, are you? And you're not the only threat, the world is filling up with people who can't be matched, and can be controlled" Nick said.
"Like you control the cube?" Steve asked.
Galilea decided to walk in, but didn't make her presence known. She walked behind the arguing Thor, and went to stand next to Tony.
"Your work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is a signal to the other realms that earth is ready for a higher form of war" Thor argued. I'm so lost right now.
"A higher form?" Steve asked confused.
"You forced our hand we had to come up with some-"
"A nuclear deterrent, because that always calms everything back down" Tony said before Nick could even finish his sentence. Nick looked at Tony, then Gali, and back at Tony again.
"Remind me again how you made your fortune, Stark?" He asked Tony since he 'runs' Stark Industries. Gali does more work than him, but he does the harder stuff.
"Well it all started with my dad" Gali started, but was cut short by an elbow to the ribs by her brother. What? It's true.
"I'm sure if they still made weapons, Stark would be neck deep-"
"Wait wait, hold on, how is this now about us?" Tony interrupted Steve. Oh now it's us.
"I'm sorry, isn't everything?" Steve replied rather harshly. Ouch.
"I thought humans were more evolved than this" Thor exclaimed. Well you thought wrong! I think.
"Excuse me, did we come to your planet and blow stuff up?" Fury said with a bit of sass.
Just like that everyone started to argue. No one is safe, except the Stark girl. The only thing she can hear are the arguments and none of them make sense. She can't make a single word out. At that rate they'll never be a team.
"EVERYBODY JUST SHUT UP!" Galilea yelled at the top of her lungs. They immediately shut their mouths and turned to her "Keep it together" she said more calm.
"You speak of control yet you court chaos" Thor said in his loud deep voice.
"It's his M.O. isn't it? I mean, what are we, a team? No, no, no. We're a chemical mixture that makes chaos. We're...we're a time bomb" Bruce told the group.
"You need to step away" Nick took a step closer to Bruce.
"Why shouldn't the guy let off a little steam" Tony put his hand on Steve's shoulder.
"You know damn well why. Back off" Steve pushed Tony's hand off his shoulder.
"Oh I'm starting to want you to make me" Tony challenged. Don't start Anthony. Steve walked around Tony and said.
"Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?"
"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist" the smartass of Gali's brother replied. By now everyone's eyes are on those two. And Gali standing next to Tony, has a front row view.
"I know guys with none of that worth ten of you. And I've seen the footage, the only thing that you really fight for is yourself" Galilea had to cut Steve off right there because he doesn't have the right to talk to him like that, he doesn't know anything.
"Hey, don't you ever talk to my brother like that!" She stepped in front of Tony to face Steve "He might be an idiot with problems but it's my job to point them out to him, not yours!" She said straight to his face, even tho he's taller than her. Everyone was slightly shocked at her sudden outburst.
"Your brother better stop pretending to be a hero" Steve said looking at her. Tony moved her to the side as he said,
"A hero, like you? You're a laboratory experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle" Tony took a step closer to Steve.
Galilea knows that that must've hit a nerve in Steve because her dad was one of the people who worked with the doctor to make him like that... a handsome man with- cut it out Galilea!
It also kinda hurt get because she's kinda in the same situation as Steve.
"Hey!" She whacked Tony on the arm. He looked down at her confused. She gave him a look.
"Galilea, you're different okay. What happened to you was an accident" Tony said.
"I know, but still" She mumbled. Everyone is looking at the pair in confusion. They have no idea what they're talking about, and it's because they don't know a thing. Steve went back to Tony.
"Put on the suit, let's go a few rounds" Steve challenged Tony.
"Ha, ha,ha. You people are so petty and tiny" Thor smiled. What? Just because you're a giant...
"Agent Romanoff would you escort Dr. Banner back to his-"
"Where? You rented my room" Bruce interrupted Nick.
"The cell was just in case-"
"In case you needed to kill me, but you can't. I know, I tried" Bruce said, each time his voice getting louder. He what?! They all stared at him in shock.
"I got low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other guy spit it out. So I moved on, I focused on helping other people. I was good until you dragged me back into this freak show and put everyone here at risk. You wanna know my secret Agent Romanoff? You wanna know how I stay calm?"
It's sure as hell not yoga. Gali thought to herself.
As Bruce was saying this, he subconsciously grabbed the scepter. Nick and Tasha reached for their guns. Thor, Steve and Tony looked like they were ready to pounce on him. Gali made a small force ball appear at her side.
"Dr. Banner, put the scepter down" Steve said. Bruce looked down at the scepter in his hand. A beeping sound came from on of the monitors.
"Got it" Tony announced. Got what?
"Sorry kids you won't get to see my party trick after all" Bruce put the scepter down before going over to the beeping monitor. Oh shucks, I was hoping I could see his party trick.
"Located the Tesseract?" Thor asked.
"I can get there faster" Tony began.
"The Tesseract belongs in Asgard, no human is a match for it" Thor informed. Tony turned to leave but Steve stopped him by grabbing Tony's arm.
"You're not going alone"
Tony slapped Steve's hand off his arm. "You're gonna stop me?"
"Put on the suit, let's find out"
"I'm not afraid to hit an old man" Tony stepped closer to Steve.
"Put on the suit" Steve said through gritted teeth. They are now face to face, and really close to each other. Someone should stop them, and Galilea thinks that someone is going to be her.
"Girls, girls" she stepped in between them, her hands on their chest pushing them away from each other, even tho she wants to punch them in the face "You're both beautiful. Now can you stop the fighting?"
Then an explosion happened, sending her flying with the two guys. Damn. If I was sore from Loki's beat down, I'm gonna end up even more sore after this.
