"Well if I'm honest that was my plan." He looked at me in disbelief. "Are you fucking serious?" asked he. "What else?" I answered him nonchalantly and walked past him." How long has it been here?" I heard him mumble behind me. "What?" I asked loudly, seeming to startle him out of his thoughts. How the hell does he know that?" Nothing nothing..." he said. Ok, it's starting to annoy me. Why can't he just say it? I turned to him resolutely. He didn't notice and ran towards me. He looked at me innocently." Is what?" he asked me. "I want an answer!" I got louder He flinched. He seemed startled for a moment, but then went back to normal. "I don't know what you mean," he said coldly and continued towards Kinoko Kingdom. We were already in the territory but not yet in the center. I ran after him. "Don't play stupid! You know exactly what I mean! How do you know I need a golden feather? And the book? How did you know where it was?" I asked seriously. He stopped but didn't turn around. "It would take too long to explain now." he said in a slightly depressed voice. Did I ask too much? "We don't have that much time anyway, tell me later" I said quickly. He gave me a grateful look. We were silent the rest of the way after what seemed like forever we arrived. "Where do we start looking?" he asked. Honestly. I don't have a plan. Maybe we'll start in the non-existent chicken coop after all. "Well, I guess we coul-" I couldn't get any further because suddenly I was pulled behind a bush. I looked at Quackity in confusion. He gestured me to be quiet. Then he looked ahead again. I also looked ahead and saw if I could see the reason we were hiding here now. At first I couldn't see anything until I could spot two figures. Was that Sapnap and Karl? They talked excitedly. As they got closer I could hear their voices. It was clearly Karl and Sapnap. But what were they doing here? Why were you back so early? I looked back at Quackity. "Why do you think they are here?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe they wanted to know if you didn't blow up their country?" he said sarcastically. There was some truth in that. The voices grew quieter. I looked around and saw her disappear around the corner of a building. "Let's get this over with quickly. I don't feel like confronting them. ' said Quackity, standing up. "I would say we search everything systematically. You go left and I go right. If one finds it, he immediately contacts the other." he suggested. I nodded. "OK, take care." he said before he started walking. After a moment's thought, I ran. Was it really smart to break up? What if one of us runs into Karl and Sapnap? They were two. But really, Q should be able to defend itself. I passed many impressive buildings. Kinoko Kingdom was really a beautiful place. It would be a shame if it accidentally got blown up... After half an hour walking around the city it got boring. I had manyseen interesting things just no golden chicken. Why was it so hard to find a chicken?... OK that was a stupid question. Just as I was about to call Quackity, my cell phone rang. The screen showed me it was Quackity. Did he find it? I picked up. "Hi?" "Wilbur? I have good news and bad news. The good news: I found the chicken. The bad: I think Karl and Nick realized something was wrong. It's just a guess. But please be careful. I am sending you my coordinates now. bye." he said."Okay see you soon." I said and hung up. Shortly thereafter, a message came with a few coordinates. Then let's search.

After a while I arrived. Quackity was waiting impatiently for me. I looked at him expectantly. "So? Where's the chicken?" I asked impatiently. "Over there," he said, pointing to a fenced enclosure. There was a single chicken. Finally. I ran towards it. Quackity cautiously behind me. I lightly jumped over the fence and ran towards the chicken. It didn't really notice me at all. So it was easy for me to grab it. But just as I had it and was about to pluck a feather from it, I heard footsteps behind me. Apparently Quackity had already heard her , he had pressed himself against one of the thick posts . I did the same with the chicken in my hand. Now I had time to steal a feather. I quickly found a nice one and with a jerk I had it in my hand. But the chicken didn't seem to like that because it started cackling like crazy. "Shit" I whispered. The footsteps came closer. "Is anyone there?". Crap. I looked at Quackity, who looked a bit awkward. When he caught my gaze, he gave me an angry look. The footsteps came closer. Ok, we had to run now or never. So I nodded to him and shouted, "Run" and we ran into the woods

Myth Of Men
Gaming isn't a way of life. With reality reduced to rubble and ash after a nuclear war, these fictional worlds of entertainment now serve as reality to many survivors. And, amidst all the addicts and try-hards, one person rises to the top with ease. Known as Hiiro, Henry Johnson is infamous for quickly dominating every game that hits the market, and departing from them even more quickly. It's no surprise when he's offered a chance to beta the world's first VRMMORPg: The Myth of Men. But is there something sinister hidden underneath the facade of what promises to be a fun game? Please note: the below is true, but due to my continued haitus, it's on the failed pledge list as of now with my other series. This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Credit for winRoot for doing my commissions. Mature language: 15+... If you ignore this it's your choice, not mine. Enjoy~
